Tamarin Public Beach

Such a great place to watch the sunset with its nice colors and atmosphere at the beach! Always wonderful, each day!

Brown sand but clean & tranquil. Spent my time sitting on a bench reading a book here. Accessing the beach is pretty seamless, some parking available & no beach boys bothering you

A stunning little beach. The sand can be hit and miss with coral, and it was not really a swimming area. However, the backdrop of the nearby mountains makes for incredible vistas and photographs.

If you love long beach walks, then the walk from Volmar to Tamarin Beach,through the forest pathway that begins at the back of Sands Hotel, and ends just behind Tamarina Hotel, is a beautiful nature discovery in itself. Tamarin beach in itself is just to relax and let time pass by as not much else to do and not so sure about swimming either...

A very clean and beautiful beach on the western coast of Mauritius. The Le mourne mountain can be seen right in front of this beach. Dolphin and whale watching is a must do when around tamarin. It's a lovely and cherishing experience.

This beach isn't very nice, but is worth to visit, because of one beautiful place on it, from where you can make trip up trough black river by kayak, where I made my pictures...

Lovely small beach, not too crowded and great place to catch sunsets. Reasonable parking availability too.
