Tamarindo Backpackers Hostel

Best place you can be at, I love the vibe and the facilities, there is Tuba, the most well behaved dog and killa, the sweetest kitten in the whole world. The Staff is the Kindest staff I've ever met, they makes you feel very welcomed and like if you are part of their family. I can't recommend this place enough. Ill Be back soon.

This hostel was nice, the room was very comfy and we slept really good, Lucca's attention was amazing! It offers surf classes too, is a great place.

Really loved my experience there! Came for almost two weeks and my stay at Tamarindo Backpackers Hostel was one of my highlights of my trip to Costa Rica. Thank you to the workers that made it even more enjoyable :)

Very kind staff, especially Lucca (the manager Marc was very chill too), clean rooms and good location. Beach is a 5 minute walk.

Nicely organized hostel. The volunteers were very helpful and kind. The pool is maintained and the kitchen kept clean. Good vibes overall. A bit higher price than expected. Dorm could‘ve provided curtains for the beds and lamps. Didn‘t use the laundry service but it seemed to work. Night guard during closing hours. Parking space available.

I took my first solo trip in February and by chance choose this place to stay at for 2 weeks. That was the best decision I have ever made. Not only did I create some of the most memorable friendships at this hostel, I was also blessed with some of my favourite core memories. The Hostel in itself was a pure dream. Cozy, Convenient, Peaceful, UNREAL Vibes, wonderful layout and system, like minded people; I could go on and on. The kitchen is perfect and easy to work around, the different hangout spaces are so nice for bonding, relaxing, eating and working. The pool is AWESOME and there are multiple showers. My biggest take away from this hostel is the beautiful souls who run it. You are always greeted with Big smiles and even bigger hearts, they welcome you into their little family and truly make you feel like you belong in this world. I will always recommend this hostel with everything I have, it truly was one of the best experiences and Im counting down the days until I can find my way back to my second home. We stayed for a week and after just a few days we felt at home and like a little family. The location of the hostel is really great. It's just a few minutes from the public bus stop. The beach, supermarkets and all the restaurants and bars are also just a few minutes away. The rooms are clean and air conditioning was switched on in the rooms at night from 21:00 to 10:00, which was very pleasant. The kitchen is well equipped and there are two more shared bathrooms with showers next to the bathroom that is directly connected to the 6-bed dorm. The volunteers like Franzi and Analía and Bradley were very nice, helpful and a lot of fun to chat with. Marco is the manager of the hostel and also lives there and, together with the volunteers, creates a great atmosphere that makes you feel at home very quickly. We also had our very first surf lesson with Marco and he is a fabulous teacher. I can only recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time. Best wishes Bella and Lukas
