Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel

I organized an Open Water Swim Retreat for 10 participants in early June, and we were based at Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel, an ideal setting for our group. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and it’s clear the owners are continuously upgrading the property. Everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully maintained.||The pools are beautiful and provided a perfect place for the group to relax in between sessions. Although Tamarindo can get lively on the weekends, the hotel itself is incredibly quiet and serene, a true oasis right in town. It was the perfect environment to rest and recharge. I also loved the small outdoor gym, which had everything needed for a good workout, and the convenience of filtered water available throughout the property was such a thoughtful detail.||The rooms are equipped with kitchens, which made it easy to prepare light meals when we wanted to stay in, and being just a short walk from town meant we also had plenty of delicious restaurant options nearby. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful and tucked away, yet steps from everything, with a convenient shortcut that makes getting around effortless.||As someone who has lived in the area for eight years, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels in Tamarindo. The design is elegant and blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere.||Most importantly, the owners were incredibly present and supportive throughout the week. They went out of their way to help with anything I needed and were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality played a huge part in the success of the retreat.||Whether you're planning a group event or simply looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, I highly recommend Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel!

My partner (28M) and I (26F) stayed at this incredible boutique hotel during our recent trip to Tamarindo, and we were honestly blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The ambiance is so warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. Everything about the hotel feels intentional, from the cozy, stylish decor to the lush greenery surrounding the property. The service was absolutely top-notch. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great stay. It never felt overly formal, just naturally friendly, like staying with friends who happen to run a really gorgeous hotel. What really stood out to us was how relaxing everything felt. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying breakfast on the terrace, or just reading in one of the quiet garden nooks, it all felt so peaceful and homey. It was the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. We can’t recommend this place enough! it made our time in Tamarindo even more special, and we’re already planning our next trip here! If you’re looking for a laid-back, beautiful, and welcoming spot to unwind, this is the one!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone searching for peace and quiet at night, but also not in far range of music and restaurants. The location is great. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating; and the rooms are exquisite! I will stay here every time I come to Tamarindo! Maria is super generous and helpful in every way she can be.

Very quiet spot, does not feel like the rest of Tamarindo. Walking distance to shops restaurants, and beaches. My wife and I were kicking off a month in Costa Rica and it was an excellent transition spot. The apartment felt very homey with a very comfortable king bed and a very nice kitchen area with a table. The bathroom was also massive. A full coffee maker with coffee was provided. There was a full refrigerator and all the utensils we needed. They had a filtered water dispenser that served up cold water. They also had a nice little pool. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Tamarindo.

I've had the pleasure of leading wellness retreats at the Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel for the last 2 years and have had only the best experience! The staff is very helpful from the beginning of booking. They've helped me set up airport transfers for the guests, outings, meals and they really create a lovely environment overall while in Tamarindo. The resort itself is very well kept up and a beautiful and serene place to stay! Highly recommend!!

Tamarindo Bay is a serene and gorgeous retreat with easy access to all that Tamarindo has to offer. Our room was pristine and the bed was so comfortable. Having a well stocked and efficient kitchen was a real benefit. The grounds are so lovely with two great pools. We had privacy and were able to interact with guests when we wanted to. |Marie manages the hotel with such graciousness, care, and professionalism and this is reflected in her staff. She is a wealth of information about the area and so helpful. |We have been to Tamarindo many times but this was our first time at Tamarindo Bay…can’t wait to come back to this gem of a hotel!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Tamerindo Bay Boutique. It's a great place to relax by the pool, maybe some yoga , catch up on a good book and a great place to lay your head for the night. My king-size bed was comfortable and I loved how soft the bedding was. I had a walk in closet, big bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette . Marie the property manager was absolutely delightful, helpful..overall a great host. I highly recommend this property.

This is a quaint property with about 17 rooms the hotel. Had a small efficiency with kitchen. There is air, the rooms are clean and simply decorated. 2 pools, secluded, a small outdoor workout area with weights and equipment..Marie was so nice and helpful. Everything is kept very clean. Perfect for couples. About a half mile walk ti the beach and restaurants. Loved it. The only thing was I thought breakfast was included as I had seen in past reviews but they no longer do that...bummer but there was coffee in the room and a market is within walking distance. Loved it.
