Honestly, I could move in here! The whole place feels like a hidden gem - two gorgeous saltwater pools, a cozy outdoor lounge tucked under blooming flowers (perfect when it rains), and even a coworking space so I could get my work done in the morning before sneaking in a quick workout and dip in the pool.|The room itself is super comfortable and clean — the bed and pillows are amazing, the shower is hot, and the kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. Plus, the location couldn't be better: it's an easy walk into town for restaurants or a straight shot to the beach.|And Marie? She's the warmest, most welcoming host. She's created such a peaceful space that feels more like a home than a hotel. This isn't just a place to stay in Tamarindo — it's the place.

Amazing experience staying here for a few nights. Bowler monkeys on the roof, thunderstorms in the pool, cutest little kitty cat on premises. Lovely Manager who gave excellent local advice. Absolutely recommended to stay here. Nice way out of town and quiet.

The hotel has a great location, you can easily walk into the city center, but it is also just far enough to escape the busy streets. We loved the pools, the room was great, and good other facilities. The host was really kind, and she gave us some great recommendations (if there was a farmers market, restaurants) which we really appreciated. Also easy to connect via WhatsApp if you had questions. This was a great stay to relax after our trip through Costa Rica, and we loved Tamarindo.

I organized an Open Water Swim Retreat for 10 participants in early June, and we were based at Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel, an ideal setting for our group. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and it’s clear the owners are continuously upgrading the property. Everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully maintained.||The pools are beautiful and provided a perfect place for the group to relax in between sessions. Although Tamarindo can get lively on the weekends, the hotel itself is incredibly quiet and serene, a true oasis right in town. It was the perfect environment to rest and recharge. I also loved the small outdoor gym, which had everything needed for a good workout, and the convenience of filtered water available throughout the property was such a thoughtful detail.||The rooms are equipped with kitchens, which made it easy to prepare light meals when we wanted to stay in, and being just a short walk from town meant we also had plenty of delicious restaurant options nearby. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful and tucked away, yet steps from everything, with a convenient shortcut that makes getting around effortless.||As someone who has lived in the area for eight years, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels in Tamarindo. The design is elegant and blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere.||Most importantly, the owners were incredibly present and supportive throughout the week. They went out of their way to help with anything I needed and were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality played a huge part in the success of the retreat.||Whether you're planning a group event or simply looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, I highly recommend Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel!

I can’t say enough good things about Tamarindo Bay Boutique, it truly is my home away from home! The rooms are gorgeous, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The property is even more STUNNING and feels as safe and secure as could be! The location is true perfection, a quick walk to town and the beach yet set back just enough for it to be very peaceful. Marie and Bathsheba are absolute angels! I will continue coming back, this hotel is by far my favourite in Tamarindo!!

My partner (28M) and I (26F) stayed at this incredible boutique hotel during our recent trip to Tamarindo, and we were honestly blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The ambiance is so warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. Everything about the hotel feels intentional, from the cozy, stylish decor to the lush greenery surrounding the property. The service was absolutely top-notch. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great stay. It never felt overly formal, just naturally friendly, like staying with friends who happen to run a really gorgeous hotel. What really stood out to us was how relaxing everything felt. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying breakfast on the terrace, or just reading in one of the quiet garden nooks, it all felt so peaceful and homey. It was the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. We can’t recommend this place enough! it made our time in Tamarindo even more special, and we’re already planning our next trip here! If you’re looking for a laid-back, beautiful, and welcoming spot to unwind, this is the one!

Very quiet spot, does not feel like the rest of Tamarindo. Walking distance to shops restaurants, and beaches. My wife and I were kicking off a month in Costa Rica and it was an excellent transition spot. The apartment felt very homey with a very comfortable king bed and a very nice kitchen area with a table. The bathroom was also massive. A full coffee maker with coffee was provided. There was a full refrigerator and all the utensils we needed. They had a filtered water dispenser that served up cold water. They also had a nice little pool. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Tamarindo.

A clean and pretty hotel in the center of the city. Close to the supermarket and good restaurants. They were so nice and treated any request with ease and kindness. They allowed me to check in earlier and check out later. They also upgraded the my reservarion to a better room. All rooms are amazing though
