Tamasite Hotel

I selected this hotel as it is two minutes walk from the hospital where I was having hip surgery early the following morning. Domingo at the reception, was friendly, efficient, even gave me a choice of rooms. Basic hotel with basic rooms, but very clean and well cared for. Bed was comfortable, so had a good nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Centrally located, basic hotel. Small toom but clean and tidy. Friendly staff. As others have noted the rooms at the back suffer from noise from the local bar. Writing this at 3.20am (cuz of the noise!) No a/c in my room. windows? ( see above!) Avoid room 106! Probably the worst for noise!

This is a lovely simple, basic hotel in a perfect spot to explore the city and also get to the beach. It's no frills and you'll need a bit of Spanish if you need to ask anyone anything but they are helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A rather basic hotel in a good location. Reasonably priced, welcoming staff. Don’t expect much, but a good choice for a short stay.

The hotel is located in the center of the town, 10 mins walk from the bus station, very convenient. The room is basic but very clean. You will find a bottle of water in the room as a welcome gift. I thought that was very nice. Good hot water for the shower, there's even a hairdryer in the bathroom. Wifi works very well. The hotel has a terrace on the third and forth floors. I went up there for the view of the sunrise. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Domingo. He makes the hotel better than it is. He was very patient and explained to me what to do in the town and the island. He was so nice to give me hot water to make tea too. It could be noisy at night because of the bars on the streets, but if you close the windows you won't hear a thing.

The recepcionist was friendly. The hotel is basic... Not so clean the room, and the towel in the bathroom was dirty.. Ideal for stay one night if you don't have any other opportunity.. But so noisy at night because under there are bars.. We couldn't sleep unfortunately, and we listened people from the other room.. My advice is they need to renovate the hotel and it can be better in the future.

Located conveniently right between the Main Street and the harbor/sea, both are just 50 meters away. ||Right around the corner there is a small pizzeria and a 0-24 store is just a 100 meters away. ||The hotel is very basic but clean and the staff is very helpful. At the reception you can find a coffee machine and a food vending machine with basic snacks. You can also watch tv here but you also have a tv in your room.||I got room 403. From the 4th floor there is an excellent view over the harbor. ||The room is very basic with double bed, a flat screen tv, a table and a small bathroom. In the bathroom like in most hotels you can find basic hygiene stuff like soap or shampoo.||All in all a great value considering its price and location, perfect for a short term stay. ||My only "complaint" would be the lack of fridge in the rooms; probably wouldn't be a big investment.||All in all a great and cheap pick for a hotel close to the center of you don't mind a simple room.

Great deal given it's location and the cheap price. The hotel is basic, but has really nice amenities is very clean and the mean at the reception is very kind and helpful. Access to the rooftop with the view over harbor is a bonus.
