We recently stayed at Tamassa Resort and had a mixed experience. The property itself is beautiful, spread out over a vast and lush garden filled with palm trees, creating a very picturesque atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small, but the bathrooms are spacious. However, the entire structure could benefit from some renovation.||The biggest downside of our stay was, unfortunately, the service. While the staff is generally kind, they lack experience and efficiency. Upon check-in, we were assigned a room of a lower category without a sea view, despite having paid a supplement for it. It took 3.5 hours to get the correct room.||At the restaurant, service was inconsistent, with frequent mistakes in orders and poor hygiene practices when changing tables between guests. Additionally, little was done to prevent the many birds around the resort from leaving droppings on tables and chairs.||The SPA is beautiful but overpriced (€90 per hour for a massage). During Cyclone Class 3, no one informed us about the implications, which included the closure of most facilities except for one bar and one restaurant. Even our pre-booked massages were canceled without prior notice, and room cleaning was suspended.||Upon checkout, we requested a late check-out, which was not possible (understandable), so we asked for luggage pickup at 11 AM (check-out time). After 30 minutes, no one had arrived, yet we received a call from reception urging us to vacate the room.||That said, the entertainment team, particularly Kevin, was fantastic—engaging, energetic, and doing their best to involve everyone, especially the younger guests.||Overall, a decent experience but not exceptional. Given the high expectations set by other Tripadvisor reviews, we were a bit disappointed.
