Tamboo

You can not beat a beachfront location with a sunset view. I love the food, drinks are good and it is quiet and cozy. I have not yet but would definitely look into booking my next stay at Tamboo.

Best meal we had Rincon! The location is gorgeous. The food was delicious (I had fish tacos, my son and husband the burger, one daughter had the ribs and the other the stuffed pepper). Very fresh and tasty. The servers were delightful. The view was spectacular. Worth every penny! Highly recommend. Cannot wait to come back to Rincon and eat here again!

Restaurant only review: Really good food with a 10/10 view. The Ramen was surprisingly good and something I’ll order again in a heartbeat. So entertaining to watch the surfers while lost in conversation, drinks, and a good meal.

Rating for service/seating only: NO STARS (Never got in thus have no info on what happens if you do. But…) Experience: Knew they don’t take reservations. Showed up on Sun night 1/21/25 @ 8 pm seeking dinner for 2. Told 40 minute wait for bar seating, then wait there for table to open up. Said no thanks. Left. Called Mon 1/22/25 @ 12 noon when they open. Asked if we could expect a seat for dinner @ 6:30 pm. Q? How many. Answer from me: 2. She replied, no problem; you’ll be able to get a table for 2 then. Arrive @ 7:00 pm(1/2 hr late). Told: I’m sorry there is a FOUR HOUR wait for a table and because the kitchen is so backed up it will be longer for food! I’m upset. Discussion ensues. We leave. Suggestion - be advised.

Had lunch on their deck over looking the ocean. Highly recommend the fried appetizer platter! Unless you are really hungry the appetizer is enough for two people.

Tamboo was extremely relaxing and cozy. We went at night so couldn’t see the ocean but could hear the waves and feel the breeze. Great fresh seafood — did take a long time to get the food but overall delicious and worth while.

Worst service ever, I called for 25 minutes knowing that that the kitchen closed at 8pm they never answered the phone, I personally arrived at 8:01pm to request a table and order food and told the hostess I was calling for the past 20 minutes to order food since the instagram page said the last sitting was at 8pm o clock to order food. And she told me awww the kitchen it’s officially closed and the phone never rings. See my phone history and tell me!!
