Yesterday I stopped at Tamburini with my gf for an easy lunch.
Once seated, we ordered a beautiful board of salumi 10€ (mortadella, prosciutto di parma, prosciutto cotto and salami) and cheese (soft, parmesan and pecorino cheese). We also tried the famous tigelle, a kind of warm flat bread that combines greatly with those ingredients.
We then continued with a delicious traditional lasagna, 8€, (the dough is made with spinach) and tortellini al ragù, 8€. Both meals were good without being memorable though. We were, however, happily surprised by the local red wine we were advised, a very tasteful Merlot, 5€ each.
Overall, our experience at Tamburini was good thanks to the quality of the products used and the central location. Bear in mind, however, that due to its popularity, the place is very crowded so be prepared to queue for around 30 min during the weekend.
