A good bring your own wine Vietnamese restaurant in little Italy with a decent section from the menu. We were 3 with a table next to the windows, so it was fairly quiet. The food was good in general with a few outstanding items like the crispy crab rolls and the crispy chicken wings. The service was ok as the server did not come often to the front of the dining room where we were seated…

We ordered in and started with the wonton soup, which was absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the meal. My husband really enjoyed it too. He also had the vegetarian imperial rolls and was a big fan. We shared the Banh Hoi Thit Nuong (grilled pork), a go-to for me when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, and the grilled beef with rice. Both meats had a nice grilled char flavor that we appreciated. That said, I was expecting a little more overall based on the reviews and photos. It also felt a little overpriced for what it was. Still, everything was pretty good. We’d definitely order the soup again, possibly even visit in person just for that.

I have nothing to say except EXCELLENT! What makes T'ami stand out is their sauces they balance perfectly the rest of their dishes. And the taste brought my parents back to Vietnam. I really recommend their plates that you need to wrap stuff in. I find this is where they shine. We will definitely come back for more!

We recently visited T’ami Vietnamese Restaurant in Montreal, and it was the perfect prelude to our upcoming Vietnamese honeymoon. The food felt wholesome, comforting, and beautifully prepared just the kind of cooking that makes you feel taken care of. We started with the bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls). The delicate rice sheets were silky and light, topped with crispy shallots for just the right crunch. Paired with tender grilled meat, slices of pork sausage, and fresh herbs, it all came together with a dipping sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet balanced and addictive. The bánh xèo (Vietnamese sizzling pancake) was another highlight. Golden, crisp on the outside, yet soft inside, it was generously filled and paired with fresh lettuce, herbs, and bean sprouts. Wrapping each bite and dipping it in the light fish sauce made every mouthful exciting and refreshing. We also tried the pad thai while a Thai classic, it was prepared with a Vietnamese touch here. The noodles had a lovely chew, the sauce was tangy with just the right hint of sweetness, and the crunch of peanuts on top tied it all together. Overall, T’ami gave us a beautiful glimpse into the warmth of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish felt carefully made, with flavors that were vibrant yet comforting. It truly set the mood for our upcoming travels we left feeling satisfied, happy, and even more excited to experience Vietnam soon.

I stopped by this resto last week or so and now all I want is to come back and have another meal here! The food was wonderful, service was great and it has a nice interior. I can't wait to come by again. Edit; I came back again today and just wanted to say that there was a new staff, and he made the best iced tea. I will definetly be ordering that again, thank you ☺️!

Their food taste good that's why once in a while I will still order from them even though it's a bit pricy on the delivery app. However, today was a little disappointed for me. When I received the delivery, the sauce lid already shrunk and the sauce was leaking through the bag. I assumed it was overheated as the plastic lid was twisted and shrunk in a weird way. Despite that, I don't mind it and still enjoyed the delicious rice roll and grilled pork. However, half way eating the rice roll, there's another small broken plastic lid that I was pulling out of my mouth as it's wrapped inside the rice roll, and the plastic looked slightly melted too. Not sure how much plastics were leaked into my food but this is definitely not a good experience for me but I understand this could be once in a blue moon mistake.

We came here on a Friday night after seeing this place all over social media, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant was packed, and we arrived about an hour before closing. Unfortunately, they had already sold out of the bánh cuốn, which we were really looking forward to try. The food took a little while to come out, but the service more than made up for it. The owners actually came to our table to personally apologize for the delay, which we really appreciated. That kind of hospitality is rare these days. When the food arrived, it was excellent, totally worth the wait. A few of their dishes are hard to find in other Vietnamese spots around Montreal, which made the experience even more special. What really stood out also was their dessert menu. It had way more options than most Vietnamese restaurants, including a chè 5 màu with durian, something I’ve never seen anywhere else. Overall, amazing food, standout service, and unique offerings. We’ll definitely be coming back (hopefully earlier next time so we can try the bánh cuốn)!

Yelp
T'Ami was the first vietnamese spot I tried in Montreal during my trip here. Located in Little Italy there was limited street parking but the area is very walkable. My table got the banh cuon mix, bun bo hue, and a mango smoothie. Food was overall good but the banh cuon was pricey and the mango smoothie has a strong yogurt flavor which is traditional but I wouldn't prefer it. The chu who was our server was super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant gives off Vietnam and it's super spacious! I would definitely come back again when I visit the area.

Yelp
This is a decent Vietnamese restaurant near Italian town. When looking at the menu prior to my trip to Montreal, I was so excited to get here and it was the first stop for our trip. The selection of menu was incredibly special. The offering is Northern Vietnamese food and these special dishes are really hard to find at any different Vietnamese restaurant. Bun Cha Ha Noi - is also called Obama noodle because President Obama had it when he was in Vietnam. Besides the grilled pork, the hardest thing in my opinion is the sauce, which was good here. The only that bothered me is how small the portion is. We had to order extra meat for my daughter. Bun Dau Mam Tom - I have high expectation for a very authentic Vietnamese disk so I was not impressed with their Bun Dau Mam Tom. It normally comes with pork intestine. Where is my pork intestine? Haha Again the portion is also very small. Nem be which is similar to spring roll was also something we called at the end when everyone was still hungry. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive for the food and the portions are small.

Yelp
T'ami is one of the few restaurants in Montreal that will satisfy all your Vietnamese food cravings at very reasonable prices. Of interest, they specialize in Northern Vietnamese cuisine! Here you will find northern dishes such as: * Nem Cua Be - Crab imperial rolls * Bánh Tôm - Shrimp fritters * Bún chả Hà Nội - Vermicelli with pork meatballs * Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm - Vermicelli with pork sausage & tofu * Bánh Cuốn - rolled rice sheets with pork meat But also Central and Southern dishes such as: * Bún Bò Huế - spicy beef noodle soup * Bánh Xèo - crispy Vietnamese savoury crêpe * Canh Chua - Sour soup gumbo with fish * Cá Kho Tộ - Caramelized braised fish ... and many more to choose from the elaborate menu. Each item is well executed to respect its tradition of aromas, flavours, and texture. Located in the heart of Montreal's Little Italy district, this spacious restaurant is perfect for groups and is a few minutes walk from Beaubien metro. And what makes it even more amazing is it's a BYOB! Come meet the owner Tâm in person as she's super sweet and loves to make you smile with her cooking.

Yelp
Great discovery near Jean-Talon and Little Italy! The beef pho was tasty and other dishes like banh xeo (shrimp pancake) and banh cuon were yummy!

Yelp
The service is horrible. It seems there is only one chef and one waiter in front so when it is busy, you can expect the waiter snapped at you when you asked for a togo box. They have a big menu but only few items are available even it is the weekend and you ordered banh ướt and later, the waiter told you they don't have any more and ask you order different item . Very stressful dinner.

Yelp
Wow very authentic Vietnamese food, we loved their fried shrimp pancakes and Hanoi style noodles. Super friendly service staff. We had a wonderful time. It was very busy on Saturday night so I would recommend making reservations before showing up. Bring your own wine, no cork fees! They do not serve alcohol in the restaurant.

Yelp
Quelle belle soirée d'anniversaire! Chaque plat était fin, parfumé, délicieux! Un souper parfait pour 3 générations. What a nice anniversary meal, each plate was fine, perfumed, delicious. A perfect supper for our 3 generations. Merci Tam pour l'accueil chaleureux, nous serons de retour, thank you Tam for a warm service, we will be back
