I’m staying nearby, so I decided to stop by for a coffee and something sweet after seeing some tempting photos—without checking the reviews beforehand.
I walked in hoping for a nice cappuccino and maybe a slice of cake, a cinnamon roll, or a donut. However, that excitement quickly faded. I greeted the staff with a “Hello,” but received no response. I smiled, trying to be friendly—knowing it was my first time there and that I probably don’t look like a local—but still, nothing.
I ordered a cappuccino and asked if they had anything like a pistachio donut or roll. The response was short and unenthusiastic. It felt like they could have sold me something, but simply didn’t want to.
In the end, I left with just the cappuccino—and I have to say, the coffee itself is excellent. But good coffee isn’t enough when you feel unwelcome. I don’t believe anyone should feel like they’re begging to be served.
Now I’m enjoying my coffee back at my place, and the mood is honestly much better—even if I’m alone.
I’ll be trying other places in the area instead.
Thank you. Bye
