Tamp & Pull Espresso Bar Nordic Light

I’m staying nearby, so I decided to stop by for a coffee and something sweet after seeing some tempting photos—without checking the reviews beforehand. I walked in hoping for a nice cappuccino and maybe a slice of cake, a cinnamon roll, or a donut. However, that excitement quickly faded. I greeted the staff with a “Hello,” but received no response. I smiled, trying to be friendly—knowing it was my first time there and that I probably don’t look like a local—but still, nothing. I ordered a cappuccino and asked if they had anything like a pistachio donut or roll. The response was short and unenthusiastic. It felt like they could have sold me something, but simply didn’t want to. In the end, I left with just the cappuccino—and I have to say, the coffee itself is excellent. But good coffee isn’t enough when you feel unwelcome. I don’t believe anyone should feel like they’re begging to be served. Now I’m enjoying my coffee back at my place, and the mood is honestly much better—even if I’m alone. I’ll be trying other places in the area instead. Thank you. Bye

Staff is either sick or under tremendous distress - in any case she should not be there serving customers.

You can enjoy the coffee house feeling despite pandemic restrictions. Good coffee with many plant based milk options and delicious chocolate bun

Tasty cappuccino and pistachio donut 😃 nice and chill environment

For sure the coffee is great but the service… I’ve been coming to Tamp&Pull since 2017 but this new bar I don’t like that much. Back then (in the Masped office) the guys were so enthusiastic about everything, I remember when they had a new roasted bean, they made us make a taste. They actually taught me some stuff about coffee (and tea) culture and it was a revolutionary specialty café at that time in Budapest. Now if I enter to the bar, maybe I get a “Szia” if I’m lucky and the girls are constantly on their phones, not even looking up and they make me feel unwelcomed.

just got their Pekan cake like 3 min ago and it had a nut on top when the lady was trying to put in a paper bag, ridiculously she stole it......no nut when I came back and opened it!!! Maybe thought I wont realize, terrible service, the other day they forgot to give my creme brulee fank and stared at me lol......everytime they hire, they hire people with ZERO service skill, even though the coffee is good.
