Tamrah Restaurant & Cafe

What a great delight it was to break the fast during Ramadan at Tamrah! The atmosphere was amazing, (especially the view) the menu they put together for everyone was exceptional and the staff running the whole restaurant was just incredible, especially Rea!!! I’m vegetarian and they were accommodating me throughout the whole night! Food was great! Just too much! ☺️…And although we were not able to put any more food in us and said “no” to dessert, they wrapped up some specialities and gave us a take home bag with all sorts of goodies to bring home! Wow! Incredible! Side note: Tamrah is on the third floor! Don’t wait outside by the date shop! Just go to the third floor!

Probably one of the more popular restaurants in Nizwa (amongst tourists), but with its unbeatable view of the Nizwa Castle it’s easy to see why. I had the Omani Shuwa, and it was really delicious! Service was friendly and efficient.

The chef 1000000/10 the food was soooo good and delicious so yummy , the staff lovely and friendly i loved them , the place so comfortable and beautiful, all perfect highly recommended

The restaurant is perfectly located next to the fort of Nizwa, it has a terrace to view the whole city. The food is quite good but obviously bit expensive due to its location.

Lentil soup was very tasty just like everywhere in Oman. Black Forest and Raspberries Cheese Cake were amazing! Great view over the fort entrance

Nice restaurant to have breakfast in front of the fort and mosque. Everything they have is had a good quality. Even the sausage was good. Come here if you didn't book breakfast in your hotel. Didn't check rooftop but is certainly also nice in the evening here.

We had a very nice dinner here. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the city. At night the view is spectacular with lights everywhere. The ambiance is cozy, with traditional décor that immediately immerses you in Omani culture. The menu is a culinary journey through the flavors of Oman, with each dish expertly prepared to perfection. From the aromatic spices to the fresh ingredients, every bite is a delight to the senses. The chicken breast with baby veggies was very good. Also the pasta was delicious . Overall, Tamrah restaurant is a hidden gem in Nizwa, offering an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the best of Omani cuisine. We had an excellent dinner here, complemented by a stunning sunset view! The food was delicious, the service attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome—especially the children.
