Tamrah Restaurant & Cafe

Nizwa has this famous restaurant that offers stunning views of the Nizwa fort, especially at night. They only take walk-ins, so we were lucky to snag a table with a view. The food is all authentic Omani, and we tried the Omani Shuwa, which was tasty but could use a bit more flavor. The lentil soup was a highlight, though! Overall, it’s a great spot for some delicious food.

Beautiful restaurant with a splendide view on the fort and the mosque. Mostly European dishes served in this restaurant so it’s also a good alternative if you want to switch a bit. Quite on the pricey side but for obvious reason. The food was good and service as well.

We visited in December 2024 as a family group. The location and view was great. food was delicious. Portion size and price was good. Staff wree so friendly and available rigjt time when you need. A great view to the fort and part of the city. I recomment it if you visit this city in a cool tempretaure.

Good atmosphere overlooking the Nizwa fort. Rooftop dining option that comes with price but totally worth it. Food portion is not huge but till full your tummy.

A higher class restaurant with very good service and limited menu with well selected dishes. Price is high and usually your have to wait to get a table!

Very delicious food but rather small portions and very expensive compared to the rest of Oman. The view is great though and the service very friendly and professional.

Had an Iced Spanish Latte and a date cheesecake, both were okay. The cheesecake was more like a cake with a mouse. Kind personel but the view is what makes it so special.
