Tams House

Located right in the busy heart of Kapana, surrounded by bars and restaurants, Tams House has that packed, lively atmosphere that you either love or avoid. The tables are close together, but honestly, that’s part of the charm if you enjoy this kind of buzzing environment. The food was well put together and tasted exactly the way it should. Service was friendly and helpful. All in all, I liked it.

We were very disappointed with the food. The Caesar salad had nothing to do with the original, the tomato salad was sour (probably because of the cocktail olives inside) and seemed to be half the portion, and it cost 18lv, the baby squid should be grilled, not fried, as they had melted. The ribs were fatty and the worst we've ever eaten. Of everything we ordered, only the meatballs were tasty. Overall, the quality of the food was not up to par, the portions were small, and the prices were high for what they offered. The service was good. We would not repeat our visit again, we would go to the neighboring restaurants next time.

This is one of the best restaurants in Kapana. The food was delicious and was served super fast. The waitress was polite and very nice. I also highly recommend to try the desserts. Will definitely visit again when I'm back in Plovdiv.

Had a super meal last night. It was a Sunday evening so didn’t need to book though I think we did get the last table outside. Varied menu and took a while to choose! Started with a chicken Caesar salad and the mixed starter. Not a typical Caesar but very tasty and my mixed starter was essentially different dips to go with bread - great! I had the smallest rack of ribs I had seen but it did have plenty of meat on it so was surprisingly filling. My wife had the duck leg risotto which she really enjoyed though the risotto wasn’t quite how you would get it in Italy! Service was not as friendly as other places we had eaten in Plovdiv and main courses arrived as we were eating our starters

Excellent steak. Other dishes were on the top level too. Desert was beautiful, but not so tasty.

Excellent and tasty food. All compliments to Chef. Place is nice, situated in romantics old part of city. Nice street sitting. Only downside is ignorant and uncompetent service. There was no plates for starter. Had to 3 times request ice for drinks. During meals noone ever check on us. I wanted some additional wine but waitress never bother to check on table. I took my family to other place for dessert and coffee.

Very nice experience! We had black angus and we ordered at the Dimitar suggestion a Pinot Noir, wich was one of the best I drink it! Dimitar is a very nice guy! You do not meet such people in the Horeca area! Congrats 👌

On of the nicest restaurants I’ve been in Plovdiv. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The food was fabulous, we enjoyed the drinks as well. It’s often busy so making a reservation is a good idea. Thank you very much!
