Tamworth YHA

A very clean hostel. Coming facilities were clean and organized. The host is a lovely lady from Zimbabwe who is very friendly and helpful. You can rent towels for a couple of dollars. There's also a nice common room too watch TV. Also if you're in Tamworth if recommend going horses riding

Excellent YHA! Very comfortable rooms, clean, modern amenities, relaxing library/tv room, two well stocked kitchens and a laundry (pay for washing). Great location. Manager was absolutely lovely and accommodating Highly recommended

The permanent residents were inconsiderate, talking loudly for hours at a stretch at night on mobile phone in common areas, leaving kitchen in a real mess, with nowhere clean on the counter to prepare food, smoking outside kitchen instead of in designated smoking area away from doorways. Also, lots of stairs with no lift was difficult for me. HOWEVER, Simone on reception could not have been more helpful, helped carrying things upstairs for me, asked if l wanted more help, put my freezer packs in her personal freezer for me so l could continue my travels with them in my Esky to keep my food fresh. Also, off-road carpark not visible from the street felt to be a good secure place for my van.

Hostel is in a good location only a short walk to the city and not too noisy. Shops are close by. The hostel is nice and clean and the staff were very accommodating when I stayed there.

One of the best hostel I have lived in my live . So clean and safety . The owner is a amazing person a very careful with the people.
