I choose this hotel because of the location but the hotel is old. Keys are not good. There’re lot of insects in the room.We stayed 4 nights but the guy from the reception is also disrespectful. We were so annoyed. Overall , we were inconvenienced and were not happy with the experiences we had at this hotel. There is a pool at the hotel but they were renovating it so that we couldn’t even use the pool ( we still had to pay the original price) We had to hear so much noise which came from construction ( renovation) and also the housekeeping staffs spoke so loudly in the morning so we got distracted in the morning when we were sleeping. Breakfast was excluded as well.

I don't write reviews often but I had such a bad experience at this hotel i had to let others know. Looking at the outside of the hotel you would never expect the inside to be so dated. The first thing you will notice is that there are no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage this will totally suck. Now to the room experience: we booked three rooms and all of the rooms had issues. The first thing i noticed when i turned on the lights was the scattering of cockroaches. As i started to explore the room i noticed not all the lights worked and the light in the bathroom would not stop flickering. The toilet seats were broken in all of the rooms and none of the rooms had hot water. The AC unit in all the rooms made a vibrating noise and constantly leaked. I should of listened to the reviews on this one. Never again....

We stayed in the newly built room. It was actually okay for the price we paid. But the staff aren’t helpful. Especially the Manager or owner who sits at the back of reception. Not a great experience but whatever

It is an old hotel. Does not have elevators. It is very near the busy Pub Street and night markets and old market. Rooms are adequate and cheap. Staff are very helpful. Restaurant and laundry services were not available in the hotel at the time of stay but there are nearby establishments for these.

This is My second time at Tan Kang Angkor Hotel. Best budget hotel for families and friends. |Pluses:|1. The room is clean, friendly staffs, |2. good breakfast (always opt for the “breakfast included” option) you cant find a better breakfast elsewhere at this price. Breakfast usually includes eggs, rice, pork/chicken, soup, fried noodles, fried veggies, coffee and tea, salad options, fruits, juice, water, and bread. |3. The pool is always very clean. |4. There’s a cocktail bar by it. |5. The location is best. 3 minute walk from pubstreet, market, and marts. Very convenient. |6. Massage is available to your room. This is perfect for when you have a tired day from temple walking, u don’t have to go to a massage parlor. |7. Room service is also available with affordable price. |Bads: |- none. ||I’d very much recommend this hotel.

Stayed here last December 2018 with my family (4 elders and 1 adult) but we already stayed here twice (2014 and 2015) before. The hotel is not that well-maintained anymore over the years and the furniture/equipment are already outdated. Location was good, it was near Siem Reap Art Center Night Market, however it looks like there are other hotels at the area with a better location nearer to where most of the livelier backpacker activities are.||||The packed breakfast prepared for each of us since we had an early check-out was a very nice and thoughtful touch -- hard-boiled egg, with carefully-prepared packet of salt and pepper, bread, jam, hotdogs, and small bananas.||||Overall I might stay at a different hotel with a better location and updated facilities if I'll be in Siem Reap again.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's within walking distance to pub street which is easy for us to browse for souvenirs. No elevator, but the staff are helpful to carry the luggage for us. No telephone in the room, so need to go down to the reception for any request or enquiries. Most of the staff are lack of hospitality. Overall, meh

Our room was super nice, 3 separate beds with individual mosquito protection. No hot water though. AC worked fine. I found the sheets a bit dirty.. I know they were clean but some stains remained :( Swimming pool is nice although very small for the size of the hotel. And it is quite dirty around. WiFi was pretty slow..
