Very very very RUDE service. Food was good. But you are paying not just for food and place, but also experience. Unfortunately it was not a good one. The waiter only start being “nicer” because we did spent almost 9k czk that night + Tip! Out of all fine dining restaurants ive been to, this is the worst.

What a waste of a beautiful restaurant in a particular building... what started as a nice greeting to this beautiful restaurant turned into once of my worst experiences starting with a very rude waiter and overly salty overcooked meat. Let me start with the waiter who was always in a rush... didn't hear my order so i had to repeat everything multiple times and of course he was annoyed (wow). We get our starter so I politely ask for two plates and some bread( this is how it should go... you eat in a plate...) the waiter goes and 15 min later no sign of the plates nor the bread... the starter Was on the table with no sign of plates or bread. I call the waited to remind him to bring the plates and surprisingly he replies with the rudest comment ever: i don't have the plates in my pocked you need to wait. I am busy just wait. I tell him that he has been going back and forth for 15 minutes he can just bring the plates so we can eat and he replies: you need to wait when im free i will bring the platter. Shocked i ask for the manager and he replies: i am the manager you wait. So i go and ask for the real manager who turned out to be another person who was very nice and apologized for his colleagues misconduct and said that he is passing through hard times (well not my fault no?) He offered us 10% discount.. a scoop of ice cream and ticket to visit the terrace. Very disappointed by this place... as we say in french : dommage. Also the food was not so good especially the meat which was overly salty... the potatoes were ice cold and overcooked. Thank you for the manager David though for his professionalism.

Delicious food and great service. Consider turning down the volume of the music. We had the barbecue dinner with chicken, shrimp and salmon. All perfectly cooked.

Restaurant in a very famous building in the city centre of Prague. That pretty much says it all. Prices are really high and the food is quite decent but I expected a little bit more. I would say if you put all things together and take it as an “experience” you can actually enjoy your time here. Staff is really nice and the view of Prague Castle is breathtaking. You can see for yourselves!

Google
The locations is beautiful. Great view with lots of potential. However service needs major improvement. They charge premium for food and not worth the cost in my humble opinion. No full bar and limited wine selection considering Czech Republic has some great wine. Not the best experience.

We came for the tasting menu, as we have visited several other restaurants offering this option and we enjoy trying new places from now and then. The location is clearly amazing, overlooking Vltava river at the seventh floor of the dancing house, but we felt that’s about it. The menu consists of very small portions, so we left hungry and not really satisfied. The highlight of the menu was the warm appetiser, the other courses were ok but nothing to remember. Especially for the price it costs, 1890 czk, the value wasn’t simply there. Also, my gf couldn’t have one item and they weren’t able to switch it with another option, so not even flexible or accommodating. The waiting staff was however great and pleasing. Overall a decent restaurant, but there are way better dining options in the city.

Nice to experience at least once in a lifetime. We came here after a big ceremony where we had already eaten and just wanted to enjoy the atmosphere and drinks, but I felt like the staff was slightly offended by our choice of order (a non-alcoholic drink plus a cheese platter). I guess a certain standard is expected of you when you come, even if you are full and just wanna enjoy a light snack with a company. Regardless, the drink and cheese were one of the best i have had, the views were spectacular. Although if you want the popular rooftop view, its a separate bar.

We went for the Tasting Menu, which was delicious! The staff was polite, communicative, and even upgraded our table every time a better one got free - we went from a table in the back, to one with a view of the castle, to the best (I would say): the quite terrace with the perfect view of the castle and the city. We are giving 4 stars to the environment rating only because, while being inside, there were quite few tiny flies that kept coming around, attracted by our drinks. That was solved once we moved on the terrace, but before that, we had to protect and even change our glasses a few times. Regardless, it was a great experience, and I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Yelp
The building is beautiful. The ambiance and views were also very nice. Our food was very good.

Yelp
Incredible! Beautiful view & fabulous lunch! Such a unique experience. So glad we got in on this trip to Prague.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing building, service and atmosphere. The soup was delicious but the rest was just ok for me, for the price. The deconstructed salad was beautiful to look at but had very little flavor...some great ideas that photographed well but didn't taste Ike much. Maybe I'm not sophisticated enough! Very happy we visited but there is way better food to be had in Prague!

Yelp
Beautiful view from this restaurant- lovely day or night! Wonderful waitstaff- friendly and attentive. We just had drinks and soup so that's all can comment on but the drinks were great and the soups were wonderful! We had the smoked salmon soup (came with actual chunks of smoked salmon) and potato soup (velvety smooth, with truffle oil- just the ticket for a cold gray day!) We would go back, for sure. The menu looked amazing!

Yelp
This place is all about the views and the food. I recommend you make reservations and the window area typically gets booked. They have an io ntternational menu but also have traditional food from Prague (sausage, dumplings etc). The person attending to us was very professional and service was quick, yet we did not feel as if we were being rushed out.

Yelp
Although the service was friendly, it's a beautiful space, and we had a great time with friends, the food was definitely not worth the price. A flavorless and rather greasy beef soup and a small salad with old, yellow romaine buried at the bottom and unseasoned chicken .. combined about $30. I can't imagine recommending it.

Yelp
Great view, building designed by Frank Gehry (the Canadian architect who also designed a few collections for Tiffany & Co.) which looks like two people dancing. Menu is interesting with a nice variety of international dishes. Service is excellent, people are friendly here which is a nice change as since we arrived in Prague it has been hard to find smiley faces around!

Yelp
The food was great. The presentation was great and an interesting twist to food. If you are into the view then great, we did not find it particularly a reason to come there. The setting arrangement is kind of odd. The main restaurant is a large circular area. Sadly we were an corner area near he entrance which did not do justice to the food. It was more like a place for coffee than a good meal. The service varied. Our server was not very experienced so was unable to answer questions about the wines or menu. Other servers were more experienced.

Yelp
Prague has been amazing so far and this place added to that. The setting could not be better, with gorgeous sweeping views of Prague and the Vltava river you have a great seat no matter where you are in the restaurant. The food was just as amazing with great service to match it. We had the lamb and beef which were both prepared exquisitely with great presentation as well. Don't forget to head upstairs after your done since the glass bar and terrace are equally spectacular and not to be missed while visiting Prague and the dancing house!

Yelp
OMG!! This restaurant checks off all the boxes - FABULOUS view, artwork, place settings, servers, and most importantly, food! Everything is sooo creatively presented! It definitely was the highlight of our trip to Prague! Don't miss it!

Yelp
Great place with a great view. Definitely for tourists but a must go to. The risotto was excellent along with everything else. Try their signature dessert. Nice wine selection and great service. No complaints

Yelp
Great experience in Prague. Surrounded by beautiful view of Prague Castle, the river, the statues... etc. servers are super nice and friendly which is rare in Prague. Recommend reservation first before you come. We ordered salad which is superb. And the starter is out of this world. Just when I thought we cannot be better, our main dishes came. Seabass and squid spaghetti are delicious! Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
An elegant but not snobby place. Although their policy of only bottle water (vs. tap) was annoying, the selections of wine and the food were outstanding ... and you can't beat the view from the top, plus the artwork all around. My son had the burger, which though pricey was unusual and delicious. Service was solid - they didn't mind our touristy outfits, although it was a quiet lunch at the weekend on a very hot day.

Yelp
The food: We got the mushroom risotto and the artichoke cream soup. They also gave us complimentary bread and butter and a apple mousse dessert in a small shot glass. A lovely gesture. The risotto was delectable, I would certainly order that again. The artichoke cream soup was also pretty tasty. The food gets 5 stars. The menu was very limited on vegetarian options but what I had was quite delicious. The experience: We primarily went to have a lunch with good window views of Prague. That's what the restaurant is known for, right? What we did not appreciate was that upon entering the restaurant in the afternoon the waiter guided us to a table in a nook section with obstructed window-views. We requested to switch to a table with better view on the main floor which was 75% empty. He said no, and he was very strict and firm about it. We insisted that the the restaurant was empty (I suppose it gets more busy at dinner time), and he stood firm that the area was closed (out of maybe 10 tables, 1 table was occupied with customers, so why was it closed to us?). We told him that this restaurant specializes in having good views and we didn't understand what the big deal was, but he simply insisted that the table he was offering us was just as good. Finally we sat down where he wanted, then asked a different waiter, who allowed us to move without a problem, and subsequently provided good service. We didn't go there to create a fuss, but lets get real, the restaurant's main attraction is dinner with good views of Prague. The food gets 5 stars, too bad the overall rating has to be brought down due to a petty seating power struggle.

Yelp
Can't rave enough about our dinner here. Great ambience, spectacular view, excellent service, fabulous food! My salad was very generous and a flavor sensation - their vinaigette is something special! My sea bass was incredible but a bit small to be honest. My husband's steak was tender & delicious. We finished our wine out on the private patio overlooking the river... GO!

Becca W.

Yelp
LOVE one of my favorite restaurants in Prague and I miss the food and vibes every day. Nothing in NYC beats the atmosphere of the restaurant and the presentation of the food on the plate! Try to go around sunset so you can go up to the glass bar and get a city-wide view of Prague covered in a sunset

Jean G.

Yelp
We had an excellent dinner at Ginger & Fred. Neither of us was too hungry, but our waiter didn't give us attitude for not ordering a lot of food. Presentation of food was lovely and both meals were delicious. My only small gripe was that the windows, with potentially fantastic views of the river, were so dirty and desperately needed cleaning.

Ellen G.

Yelp
Magnificent place to enjoy gourmet food! Presentation is divine and flavor is even better. Best view of the Prague Castle before and after sunset. We were fortunate to stay in the hotel and enjoy the breakfast daily (not open to the public) and admire private view of the river.

Mark C.

Yelp
Wow, this place was wonderful! Victor helped us with our wine selection and oversaw our entire meal which was superb! If there is one place you eat in Prague this is it! The view and food is unsurpassed!

Lukas K.

Yelp
This place sucks. The food is weird and not good. And even when the restaurant is empty, the service is horrible. It's also very expensive. Stay away!
