Tandjung Sari Hotel

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! By far the best hotel in Sanur. So much thought and care has gone into every part of the hotel making it a really special and unique place to stay. The customer service is excellent and every single member of staff was warm and welcoming. A special shout out to Ayu who went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here during our summer family vacation.This hotel, as they themselves describe it as handmade, is built with natural materials. It felt as if we were staying at a friend’s second home.Overall, there was a sense of story, making it an artistic and inspiring experience.Despite its age, the interior was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. However, the first floor of the two-story villa we stayed in had no windows looking outside, which created a somewhat closed-in feeling.The beach was beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere of the restaurant after sunset was very romantic.One thing that did not meet my expectations was that the female staff at the reception and restaurant were not very friendly. Their lack of smiles gave us a sense of discomfort. In contrast, the male staff were warm, smiling, and attentive. I wonder why the female staff seemed rather unfriendly.

After an intense and fascinating journey through Java and Bali, we spent our final four nights at Tandjung Sari in Sanur — and it truly felt like the perfect ending to our Indonesian adventure. This boutique beachfront hotel offered us a haven of peace, luxury, and understated elegance.||We stayed in the most basic room category, but it felt nothing short of a honeymoon suite. The bungalow was spacious and tastefully decorated, blending traditional Balinese style with modern comfort. We especially loved the large bathtub and the open-air shower, both of which added to the serene, spa-like feel. The lush private garden with sun loungers offered complete privacy and a sense of tropical indulgence.||The resort itself has a mystic, timeless atmosphere — a rare blend of authenticity and intimacy. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the beautiful architecture to the peaceful pathways lined with statues and frangipani trees. The service was consistently warm and welcoming, delivered with genuine care.||Each morning began with an excellent à la carte breakfast, offering a wide variety of healthy and flavorful options. We particularly appreciated being able to enjoy our meals in such a tranquil setting. The restaurant is romantic and beautifully situated, with the option to dine right on the beach under the stars. The food was high quality, and the cocktails were crafted with flair.||The private beach area is quiet and well maintained, with comfortable loungers and attentive beachside service. The location is ideal, within walking distance of many great local restaurants and bars, yet the resort itself remains a peaceful escape from the bustle.||If we had to mention any drawbacks, it would be that the swimming pool is placed in the middle of the restaurant terrace, which made it feel a bit awkward to use while people were dining. Also, during our stay, the sea wasn’t very clean, with noticeable plastic pollution — an unfortunate reminder of a wider environmental issue in the region.||Despite these small issues, Tandjung Sari is a truly special place, perfect for those seeking a romantic, peaceful, and culturally rich stay in Bali. Enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, amazing Balinese vibes. Aesthetically pleasing and traditional Balinese influences. We stayed in a village bungalow which was great, quiet and private. Spacious with everything we needed. Some fittings were a bit dated but added to the experience.|The beach area was great and very well maintained, unfortunately we lost some items that weren’t handed in so don’t think it’s overly secure re personal items.|The restaurant is lovely, right in the beach. The service was slow and the menu average. We opted to eat locally as there are better options walking distance both on the beach walk and Main Street.|Definitely return as the overall service was good and the place was quiet, safe and in a great location.

I booked the Tandjung Sari because I wanted a small, traditional-style property that offered a restaurant, gym & yoga and was on the beach ~ this ticked all the boxes and then some! We had a lovely Village Bungalow away from the road with a gorgeous outdoor sitting area and outdoor shower. The Bungalow is roomy with plenty of closet space, big bathroom area, small fridge and decent lighting (many traditional places we stayed at didn't have enough lights). |Breakfast at the restaurant was really good - especially their strong coffee! and the staff were always pleasant and efficient.|I really enjoyed having the open-air yoga available (M, W, F) and the gym was modern and quite good.|Overall, a great spot that I would come back to again.

Another sensational stay at Tandjung Sari. It is still peaceful, elegant and beautiful. The service is kind and polished, and the rooms are traditional Balinese luxury. It’s hard to praise it enough. We also appreciated the excellent restaurant, the occasional gamelan performances, the fluffy beach towels, and above all the attentive staff and management. A perfect holiday is now-busy Bali.

A wonderful place to have a romantic meal on the beach. There is a special atmosphere and you are treated to a private section of the beach, surrounded by flowers and candlelit. A fantastic way to spend an evening with the one you 💕

Magnificent location on Sanur beach. Quiet, private and luxurious air-conditioned "bungalows" each in an architectural individual Balinese style with thatched roofs and pitched ceilings in bamboo, with also a small rear courtyard featuring an extra outside shower. At the front enterence a larger private courtyard with a garden cabana for two. The hotel extends from the beach with restaurant, bar, pool and reception area.Then the bungalows each tucked away from each other by tropical mini maze garden with a 100mt driveway to the bustling street. We absolutely loved the place with it's beautiful indoor and alfresco dining areas from early breakfast to dinner, (we had one lazy day with room service) From the waiting and bar staff,reception, services to management, all went out of their way to give us an unforgettable experience, We were there for two weeks and much of the time enjoyed the delicious restaurant meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. Yes, we will very happily return for our next Balinese visit to the Tandjung Sari Hotel Sanur.
