Drawn by the restaurant’s 20-year legacy and strong feedback, I had high hopes for my visit. However, the experience did not live up to expectations.
The spring roll, prepared with cabbage instead of noodles, lacked the classic flavor profile, earning it an average rating of 3 out of 5. The malai kofta, though served with four pieces, was bland and the portion size felt insufficient. While the stuffed potato kulcha stood out as a highlight, the garlic butter naan was burnt, which diminished the meal further.
On the positive side, the restaurant boasts a decent ambiance, enhanced by Indian music that adds to the cultural experience. They also accommodate special requests for occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, which is a thoughtful touch.
Unfortunately, the evening ended on a sour note as I experienced stomach discomfort shortly after dinner, raising concerns about food quality.
While the restaurant has potential and some redeeming features, significant improvements are needed in both food preparation and overall quality to match the legacy it proudly upholds.
