Tanger Outlets Deer Park

If I closed my eyes for a SECOND I would swear I was walking around ROCKEFELLER CENTER or even THE WINTER VILLAGE in NYC. Tanger Vibes that feeling when your there. I feel like I am walking amongst the "Elite", like in shopping. This is the place to be for deals and the Big Name Brands. Perhaps Tanger should consider a High End Restaurant at the mall? Fine dining and shopping? 🤔Hmmm sounds interesting. I was there by their huge Christmas tree which doubles as an ice skating rink. They were actually having a show for the patrons, but I couldn't stay😭bummer. *Bathrooms: Are very clean and spread out at different locations of the mall. *Parking: Is plentiful, some areas get more crowded than others depending obviously on the cluster of popular stores. If you don't mind walking all that much (highlighted in 💛 YELLOW enclosed picture) is where you'll find me parking when I don't want to be mobbed. Easy to exit as well. Parking in Green highlited area SEMI crowded and in Red Highlited HEAVY PARKING. *SAFETY: In all the years I have shopped there I have NEVER seen riff raff, fights or even a heavy police presence. Hope it stays that way👍. *Looks like pets allowed also, fido will be happy. Winter time will be perhaps too cold to walk around outside. Such a great shopping center with awesome deals! I feel like pretty much all the time everything is at least 40% depending on the store, and my regular go tos are Often 50+% off! It’s amazing, solid food choices too, between Millers Ale House, Red Lobster, Starbucks, Chipotle, Desi Indian Cuisine, Nathan’s, Charley’s Philly Cheesesteaks, China Max, Burger Village, and Haagen-Dazs for dessert, you really can’t go wrong with any choice! Love this outlet!!

This outlet mall is honestly the best. The deals were crazy. We went around Christmas time and the decorations were unlike anything I have seen before. Being here at night was comparable to being is a magical Christmas fairy land.

I didn't know about this place if not for YouTube and I just to had to check it out. Place is very nice plenty of parking just be mindful it can get busy. It reminds me of woodbury commons in upstate NY just not as big. However don't let that deter you , you'll find plenty of stores, restrooms and eateries to choose from. It has a play area the kids. There's plenty of seating to relax and spend a nice afternoon with friends and family. There's even a Regal movie theater. Place is kept clean with plenty of security walking around. The overall vibes are nice specially in the center area with the water fountain which is the best area to just lounge around after shopping,eating or a movie. The drive from NYC is just over an hour. Overall ny visit here was great I really enjoyed my time here. Absolutely recommend visiting.

Tanger Outlets is an amazing place to shop. It’s huge, has tons of stores, and you can easily spend the entire day there without getting bored. They have a lot of well-known name brands — Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Nike, Under Armour, and many more. Since it’s an outlet, you’ll find great deals that you normally wouldn’t get at regular retail stores. Parking is usually available, though on regular days you might need to loop around a couple of times before you find a spot. If there’s an event or it’s right before or after a holiday, it does get a lot busier, but you’ll still eventually find parking. They also have plenty of food options, and their food truck events are amazing. There’s always something new happening, and they’re constantly adding new stores, which keeps the place feeling fresh. The layout can be a little tricky to navigate, so I definitely recommend downloading the Tanger app. Not only does it help you find your way around, but it also gives you access to extra deals and coupons you won’t find in-store — like 10% off your entire purchase or a few dollars off certain items. I use the free version and it works perfectly fine. Overall, this is a great outlet mall with tons of stores, great deals, and a fun shopping experience.

Always a great day here. Lots of free parking. Families from every culture enjoying beautiful outdoor courtyards and shopping experience. Large selection of stores. Very clean bathrooms with changing area for tots.

Nice little outlet although prices aren't much different than regular stores. Regal Deer Park Movie Theater is here so you can easily catch a movie. Some food choices, can get pretty crowded though especially with teens & during special events. Overall ok, nice outdoor set up with additional seating. Beautifully decorated for the Holidays 😍!!

Its pretty chill. They have good service. Clean stores and a lot of companies that I shop at. So four stars sounds reasonable only because they some items i wanted werent sold at this location.

My daughter and I came here to go to the Famous Food Festival. The outlet is huge and comprises a variety of stores. There are many restaurants around the outlet to enjoy and parking can become a bit crowded.

I haven't been to these outlets in years and there's been a big turn over and shops and food venues. It looked like all of the stores are having labor day, back to school sales, but there wasn't much to choose from. It's funny sometimes we hit it and sometimes we don't. It was very very quiet. There weren't many shoppers.

Fun fact, I've been here before and completely forgot that I've been here before! Still a solid outlet. We were in Islip to take my SFIL to a guitar store in the area and we needed somewhere to kill time. Friends who live in LI recommended Tanger Deer Park, which was about 20 minutes away from where SFIL needed to be. We spent about 2.5 hours at the outlet and had a good time. I like that they have a giant Dick's outlet here, which I've never seen before at other outlets. They also have all the typical suspects like Levi's, J.Crew Factory, and Cole Haan. We didn't get to all the stores, but were able to find some solid items in the stores that we did get to.

There are some amazing stores with great deals. You can always find fantastic items on sale, and they constantly have awesome sales!

This was my first time in this outlet and I enjoyed my quick visit. The grounds were very clean and there was a lot of signage to help you find the stores you want. I was coming to check out the Nike outlet for some new sneakers and saw they had a ton of other stores. You can spend an entire day here shopping and eating. I checked out the Nike store that was packed and lines were long but I got my cheap sneakers. I also checked out one of my favorite stores, the Christmas tree shop but to my surprise it was pretty empty with a lot of bare walls. I guess they were recuperating from the after holiday rush. LOL.. They have a few places to eat but I didn't indulge in any food. There's plenty of parking. I do plan on returning and checking out some other shops.

What a waste of time and huge disappointment. The prices at this outlet were higher than regular retail.

I don't know what it is; but most of the times I came to this place I usually have came back to the car and bought nothing. That's rare because I do love shopping. I would say it's nice to walk around and the highlight of this place is during winter. Heard of a target that's around here, would love to give that a try! Parking space is vast. And the place is clean and safe to around ! If and when it rains, you definitely need an umbrella and some rain boots. Because this is all out in the open at least the walking around to get from one store into another.

This place was an absolute mess on Black Friday. The police had to be called, the workers and security showed no authority or organization to control anything and just didn't care. The deals were weak and the best I saw was 35% off basically. There's lots of stores but with that comes small stores filled with people with lines to get in of 30+ minutes and lines of 30+ minutes to pay for what you want. Ridiculous!!

I love this Tanger! Have been to a number of outlet malls over the years, and this is one I have returned to a number of times. It's especially gorgeous and festive during the holiday season (haha obviously). But it's really beautiful with the skating rink and the huge nutcrackers and the lights and trees. One of the best places to do your holiday shopping. If not for the holiday prices (bc honestly didn't always find THE best deals for holiday shopping), then at the very least for the experience. You'll definitely get the holiday feel in the air. Speaking of holidays, I have to mention one of my favorite stores in the entire outlet: the Christmas Tree Shops. It's like a combination of Walmart and Home Goods haha. Yes interesting combination, but that just means you'll find a variety of interesting items! Also enjoy the As Seen On TV store. The random-seeming stores are often the best. And then of course we have the brand names like Nike and Coach. Perhaps I'm expecting too much, but sometimes it does feel like I don't exactly get outlet prices at the factory store and may as well purchase from the actual store. But that's not to say you can't get lucky and find some sweet deals. I like the selection of food places like Chipotle and Starbucks. Never went to the movie theater there (and likely will not anytime soon, especially during these COVID times), but I do think it's cool (and a little random) that there is a theater in the middle of the outlet mall. Or maybe it isn't so random; I just haven't seen one at other outlet malls I've been to. It's safe to say that I will be here again in the future.

Yankee Candle. I guess you have to be of a certain color to get service. I got completely ignored as I walked past 3 Caucasian store employees talking about personal business. I'm African American obviously, they asked the two Caucasian customers twice if they needed assistance. I had to asked for assistance from them, and yes they looked at me like I was bothering them. Last time I go there.

We always enjoy walking around this "village." However, a big storm knocked out power to half the stores and restrooms a couple days before our visit. The upside was there weren't many shoppers to compete with us for space. So, even the stores with lines to go in were a breeze. Just a couple minutes wait time. The only downside to this "village" design is we get lost every time we come here. Specific stores are hard to find as you try to navigate around. And then you have to find your car afterwards since the parking surrounds the entire complex. But, that's a minor inconvenience. If you're not in a hurry, it's a nice stroll. Good way to spend a few hours.

I come to this outlet at least once a year. It's about a 50 minute drive from my house. Not as far as the outlets in Riverhead. The options range depending on what you're looking for. I like Ann Taylor Loft for work clothes. Nike for sportswear. Yankee Candle for candles and fragrances. There are lots of stories to choose from. There is a movie theater and a few eating options. Starbucks and Haggen Das are also available. We usually stick with Johnny Rockets for a quick meal before we shop. There's usually a coupon on Yelp that can be applied for a discount. I do wish more coupons that are available applied here. Since they are outlets, retail coupons can't be applied. Overall a decent outlet experience that has an outdoor feel.

I've been to Tanger Outlet numerous times. They have a lot of nice stores but my ultimate favorite is Michael Kors. It's typically up to 70% off every time I go so it makes for good quality, cheap priced hand bags. I also love The Nike Factory, they don't hold many discounts there but you can still score at a decent price. Bathrooms are always clean and spotless which I appreciate. Even on the most crowded days the bathrooms are well kept. There are also numerous bathrooms throughout Tanger. There are many little places to eat at and even restaurants like Red Lobsters, Miller Ale House and more. The only thing I found silly was having to pay $5 for a coupon book at a vending machine. Why on earth would someone want to spend money while trying to save money? They don't even know what in the booklets as far as savings go, because it's in a vending machine. That's dumb if you ask me and I'm an extreme couponer so seeing that made me laugh my butt off. I would NEVER pay $5 if I'm trying to save $5 lol. Other than that it's a great place to shop and enjoy time. Very big outlet so bring comfortable shoes.

Came out here to visit the Crate and Barrel outlet but was pretty disappointed with the shops in the area and the deals they had.

Enjoy coming here, I'm only 15 mins away. Just don't go during the holiday season trust me. Weekday best time for obvious reason

The lady who answered my call was useless. Nasty and unwilling to help and speaking over every word I said. You'll have a better outcome talking to one of the people overseas. At least they are nice. Horrible!

This outlet is always enjoyable to come to. I live out the way a little bit so when I do come here it's like a whole other world. They have many shops to choose from. It's always clean and the look of it is homey and welcoming. The outside areas is lined with trees, flowers and benches. It almost looks like a botanical garden with the floral arrangements along the corridors. There are fountains placed on the inner part of the outlet and plenty of outside seating. There are some stores that were closed but the majority of the stores were opened.

Great outlet with a ginormous and festive outdoor Christmas tree during the holidays, surrounded by an ice skating rink. There are a decent number of retail stores where you can find items with heavily discounted price tags. I bought a shirt from Old Navy for $3 and cosmetics minus 30-50% off. Perfect outlet to shop during the holidays!

It's the best outlet in Long Island that was built few years back and highly recommend coming here for many amenities like surplex of stores, restaurants and nicely designed Regal Cinema with stadium seating They have a one time fee for their membership that it's a must have, you get the VIP coupon book complimentary with every visit. Recommend downloading their app which you can upload any receipts from store purchases throughout your shopping day to keep track of points accumulated. Also you can pull any outlet store coupon within the app to use in the stores Last tip, those who purchased being a VIP member...visit shopper services and take advantage of the Regal Cinema Movie Ticket Package (comes with two movie tickets and $5 concession gift card) for $25

Very nice and clean outlet reminded me of being in their Florida locations easy to get around plenty of stores to chose from parking was easy to find they have a movie theater on site and a decent food court

I'm absolutely a supporter of small independent shops and dislike generic chain stores. With that said, sometimes (especially when holiday shopping) you just need the basics. And there are just certain stores that you can depend on for that. Tanger outlets has a ton of very high end and average end stores. Everything is on sale with amazing discounts. Today The Gap outlet had fifty percent off and coach had seventy percent off! You just cannot beat these prices. Of course, if you are buying from an outlet store they have different selections than the more expensive retail stores. My experience at Tangier outlets makes me never want to go to a retail shop again. The place is packed this time of year. They have an ice skating rink with a beautiful Christmas tree lit up. I'm sure this is a dream place for bored Long Island housewives and their families. Oh, and this girl.

This mall is all the way out but has lots of high-end shops and amazing restaurants. This mall has one of my favorite shops off saks and one of my favorite restaurants PizzaRev. What great way to enjoy your Tuesday evening.

What happened to the few restaurants that they had here at Tanger? Johnny Rockets .... gone. Pizza Uno ... gone . Pizza Rev ... gone . Please open a food court so that people can find a warm place to sit in this cold weather . These little food places might do better . Wish you would open a sit-down restaurant like Johnny Rockets , but I know you will not .

I didn't appreciate outlets until now. Really glad a closer Tanger opened up. When I think of this outlet, I think of really packed parking lots and rainy days spent running from store to store. Sound like a fun time? I've been here 6 times in the past year and every time whether it is a regular Saturday or Memorial Day or going to the July 4th deals, it is always raining. I've got to say, this outlet isn't very rain-friendly. Today, there was the annual Tanger food truck event. Last year, it brought in 17,000 people. You've got to bring your patience with you before coming here. I went to Smorgasburg earlier this week, so waiting on line for one hour for a philly cheesesteak in 80 degrees really wasn't something I enjoyed. I think the speed of all the trucks need to be fixed for the event next year because a lot of people got fed up with waiting. I did love the farmer's market section at the heart of Tanger though. I got a rosemary plant and checked out some of the vegetables and breads. The great part of Tanger is that their bathrooms are very clean and there are water fountains and food every few steps. There is also a huge theatre for whoever doesn't want to shop with the rest of the family. This is a very child-friendly outlet. Christmas Tree Shop is my favorite place to go when I want to buy things but am not sure what I need to get. Unlike the rest of the store where you could blow $80 buying a pair of shoes or a new pair of pants, Christmas Tree Shop carries little whale shaped cheese crackers and over a dozen brands of hair products. You're bound to come out of there with things you didn't know you needed!

Even we went on weekend, the outlet wasn't crowded at all. Most stores were open and required masks to get in. No specific social distancing rules inside the stores. There were plenty of benches / chairs in this outlet. Overall the environment is good and clean. I like the variety of stores in this outlet.

It is Black Friday and I understand there being the need for patience but; as I wrote this, I am currently 2:30 sitting in my car trying to leave. The employees in the field are rude and incapable and the staff in the office is unhelpful. This is a problem that should have a clear solution but the logistics are not implemented well. Any positive or negative experience otherwise has been marred by this

Tanger is a super well known place on Long Island but if you're planning on shopping a bunch or seeing an inexpensive movie..this is prob not the place. If you want to browse and buy a few things or see a movie in a very nice theater then I definitely recommend.

Deer park Tangier is by far the better one over Riverhead they do a beautiful Christmas Holiday Tree lights and full ice skating rink. Decorations galore amble parking and lots and lots of stores. Great central location it's always a nice time here

Loved these outlets! I've been to other locations of theirs. I found this outlet to be super convenient to get to. They had a wide variety of stores. The layout was very easy to walk through - and, it was super clean! I went in several of the stores at Tanger - Polo, Nike, Francesca's, Neiman Marcus, Lids, IT'SUGAR - the sales associates were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I was surprised for an outlet that there weren't too many shoppers here, which I liked. I thought it was an easy shopping experience, because it wasn't too crowded. I went on a week day afternoon. I would definitely recommend that this would be a good time to go. If I was in the area, I would definitely stop back at these outlets.

The black guy at the Lids store has to be one of the rudest employees I've ever come across. I will never ever go back to the Lids ever ever again. He talks to you like you're stupid. He has no education on the things he is selling. He just makes stuff up. Tries to rush you out the store. I've been collecting hats and jerseys for almost 35 years and the things he was saying about the jerseys for sale made absolutely no sense. He just didn't want to have to take them down so I can look at them. If you don't want to deal with people all day, don't get a job where you have to deal with people. Plain and simple!!

Big outlet mall but sadly many shopS are closed. There are still the very popular brands. Came on a Friday night after Christmas and it seemed dead. Maybe because it was very cold. I'm not sure.

This was my first time out shopping since Covid struck last year. I was a little nervous but since it's an outdoor mall I decided to go. There weren't a lot of people there but the sales people were extremely friendly and everyone followed the Covid guidelines. I felt totally safe there

I always wanted to try out Tanger Outlets.but the closest one was in Riverhead So I was glad they built the Tanger Outlet in Deer Park at the arches. It's a great place to shop with a variety of stores . They have upscale stores candy shops and Multiplex movie theater It's like shopping at the mall except that you have to go outside to go to a different store which is great because they have beautiful flower beds and water fountain and a lot of things to look at There was also plenty of free parking and a lot of nice restaurants and places to eat around there like Miller Ale House and Joe's Crab Shack So if you're in the area give them a try I know you will like it plenty of fresh air and sunshine

So many sales. I shopped at target and Carter's . The total price was less than half of what I would have otherwise payed at a regular store.

I love going to Tanger Outlets. It has so many good places to go to and the atmosphere is nice. I love that it Doesn't feel as cramp as a mall would feel like. There's enough space for a group of people to walk with quite a few bags in each hand. I also love the fact that it has a theatre in it too.

I no longer go to the theater here because it is always crowded, however when it comes to last minute shopping for a holiday I am in here. I don't know what's here anymore to be honest because when I come here it's typically with my mother to go to the movies. Updating it to 4 stars because when I needed to get some last minute christmas shopping done Tanger didn't disappoint. I picked up gifts for my sister at Hot Topic & some stuff at Torrid. If you went to High School in Deer Park or Dix Hills then be prepared to see all those people again.

Not dog friendly here at all. I would never bring My dog there again. Every store I brought him into they either asked me to leave or pick him up. Such a shame because I assumed as it is an outdoor mall it would not be a problem.

We came in on 8/8 to check out the Fila, Nike and the all weather stores. Nike outlet store had a line with a 25 minute wait, so that was a bust we walked over to Fila store which did not have a line and everything was 30% off. I end up buying some polo shirts and hats and best of all the store was not crowded. I noticed the cashier wiping done her checkout area after each customer, everyone wearing a mask in the store and social distancing. Of course as soon as i step out of the store there was a line to get in.

WOW! The assistance I received yesterday from RYAN and THOMAS far exceeded typical customer service expectations. They both went to a great deal of effort going to the back looking for sizes that weren't available on the floor as well as finding one of the items on clearance. Also, Ryan opened boxes in the back and found a "freedom" T-shirt that I needed in a different size to avoid driving 40miles to Riverhead! If you visit this store and run into one of these guys rest assured they will do everything possible to help. THANKS AGAIN!

A closer outlet option if you don't want to take the hike to Riverhead. Deer Park Tanger Outlets offer a variety of stores. Note, not every store is an outlet store though. Pretty decent sales especially during the holiday season. Can be super hot during the summer to be out there and freezing cold during the winter months, but what do you expect for an outside mall.

When I'm too lazy to drive out to the Riverhead location I go to this Tanger since it's closer. The architecture has that Italian villa feel as an outdoor mall. Throughout the year the stores offer deals season to season. There has been some changes with additions of new stores. The Victoria's Secret and Pink store is one of the latest new additions, but sad o see it's just a regular store and not an outlet store, so those hoping to get good deals will still need to trek out to the Riverhead outlet. Generally there is lots of parking surrounding the Tanger Outlet stores. However when there is a special event or during the holiday shopping season, it is more difficult to find a spot. There are special events held throughout the year including summer concerts, weekend farmers market, charity runs and the holiday tree lighting.

Tanger Outlet during the holidays! Lots of great places to shop. Wish they had more places to sit down and eat.

Update: I just want to compliment this mall for being baby friendly in the bathrooms. As a new mom, it's hard to go out with my baby and find a changing table. They have a changing table and a place to feed your baby. Very accommodating! Thank you so much tanger. You don't understand how helpful that is for a mommy!

This is definitely the most pretty looking Tanger Outlet I've ever been to. However, the layout is incredibly confusing, I've been going here for years and I've yet to find a nice way to hit up every store without constantly making loops or missing something. The bathrooms here have always been kept very clean and the aesthetic of the entire outlet area is gorgeous with plenty of parking. The choices in stores here are kind of bare and it can be a bit more hit and miss than the larger outlets I've been to, but overall has a nice selection of stores. There's also plenty of food choices here, which makes it a nice place to shop before dinner time and there is an okay theater here, so it really allows you to make the whole day an outing despite the store choices being a bit barren.

Plenty of handicap wheelchair rentals and parking. If you need a stroller for the kiddies they have them at the office. Only negative part is that if youre in a wheelchair or using a stroller many of the stores are narrow and not exactly handicap or stroller friendly, and difficult to get over the door thersholds with ease, and NO store has handicap buttons for the door besides one, which is Neiman Marcus (which doesnt work sometimes).... Love the farmers market on Saturdays during majority of year. They have cheaply priced ice skating during the winter. Cheap locker rentals too. Prices are decent of most of the stores. Not too many eateries within the outlet but surrounding there's a Miller's Ale house and Ruby Tuesday's.
