This had been my favorite breakfast place in Boulder for a long time. It served great atmosphere, unique and healthy food, and delicious coffee. However it has slid to a dark place. I don’t know if it changed hands or what has occurred but the options and the food quality went down badly. I took my family of three and we orders three different kinds of dishes and all were off. Corned beef hash with poached eggs? The eggs were hard, the jam with the toast was pure runny syrup, and the potato’s and corned beef were over salted. The server and manager were kind and replaced the eggs and even the jam, but it was still syrup.
The pancakes were good but not fluffy.
The sandwich, overly salty and overcooked eggs.
The service is great and the coffee still wonderful.
I support only local restaurants as much as possible and it’s sad that the breakfast restaurant that I can walk to is not longer viable.
