Tangoinn Downtown Iguazú

This is a really nice hostel in a great location in town. It is right across the road from the bus terminal and shares a road with lots of restaurants. Shops are also only a short walk away. The busses for both the falls and crossing over to Brazil leave from across the road. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is a kitchen and swimming pool and the breakfast was basic but nice. We had a private room with bathroom. It was big enough, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

The most saleable point of the hostel is it’s location - situated right across the street from the bus terminal. Making it easy to find transport to all the places especially to the Iguazú Falls. ||||The room is the basic dorm bed type. The air conditioning was not good, the mattress has bed bugs (my back and arm a few red itchy marks), the shower could be better if they cared to change the shower head. The room is clean though. ||||The breakfast was simple continental serving but good enough to fill the stomach. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. And most of the restaurants served great dishes. For quick weigh-in food, go to the corner of the hostel block, cheaper and lots of variety. ||||For the location, I’ll go back. When there is a similar establishment come up next to it, I’ll go for the newer ones.

Adequate. Easily the best thing about this place is the staff who are friendly and helpful. Our private double rooms were ok - sparse but clean. The bathroom wasn't great - shower was nearly warm but weak and everything had seen much better days. Breakfast was basic - bread, cornflakes, melon and artificial juice. In general the whole place felt tired - could really use a refit. One of those hostels that just about does the job but you wouldn't recommend.

For us, it was perfect, we got off the bus, walked across the street, got a room for 3 nights without a reservation. Not because they weren't full, we just happened to be there middle of the week, we took the last room. This pat of the trip, we needed esy access to the bus terminal. Very affordable. Relaxing patio area with a small pool. Free breakfast, nothing spectacular, except there was FRESH squeezed orange juice, the girl was there in the kitchen patio squeezing away for hours, because THOSE were some delicious oranges, everybody drank that right up! Pleasing staff. Internet connection only worked one of the three days. Be careful of the "towel rules", we ended up without towels one day. They do have an area where you can lock up your stuff.

I stayed for two nights. First, the location is great. The hostel is right opposite side of bus terminal. You can go to Iguazu Falls or another cities easily. Second, rooom are clean. Bed is comfortable and sheets are clean. Bathroom is not well functioned but okay to use it. Third, the garden and bar are beautiful. Breakfast is amazing. There are many selections of bread, jam and juice. Last, staff service is great. Satisfied.

The hostel is in a fantastic location, right across the road from the main bus terminal and taxi stand. The place is big and has a great area, however it's old and damp in our room and staff helpfulness was okay. If you have to get in and out of the area it's a great location, not the best bed. Does have a decent breakfast.

The dorms are good and clean with large lockers, spacious bathrooms and nice temperature. Breakfast is nice with watermelon. But wifi is really poor, keeps cutting off and none of the PCs were working. Not a city problem as a restaurant's wifi nearby worked perfectly.

Convenient yet quiet location with good choice of local top end or microwave-your-own budget buffet restaurants. Hostel was clean if basic with nice pool area. Staff were great and Florence was an absolute angel arranging my tours and lots of practical advice.
