Tangoinn Hostel Downtown Bariloche

Nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, good location, clean rooms, good common area. Some things in the room need a bit of maintenance, but it doesn't ruin the good vibes 🙂

The breakfast was nice and the place was fine to stay. Some mold in the bathroom. However the service here is awful. Our room got flooded due to the jacuzzi breaking down in the room next to us. All my clothes and our electronics were wet and the receptionist did not even say sorry or was apologetic for the inconvenience in any way. After we got frustrated she did change the wet sheets off the bed but there was nothing more said. Just don’t go here expecting customer service. They also charge extra for paying with card.

Hostel is literally falling apart. Chunks of ceiling on the floor. Hairballs in main hallways. Smelled. Door to the room couldn’t open without a large dragging noise because floor warped. Mattress below mine had a giant hole in the middle. Door lock half broken off.| | Front desk person booked me a taxi, unmetered, that charged me double. She then pretended she didn’t know .| |Anywhere is better to stay than here.

First of all the showers are dirty, the hostel smells really bad, only one of the 3 was helpful and nice and the beds are terrible. They overcharged me almost tripple for one night and said it was because of the crisis. When I said they overcharged all of the sudden the receptionist couldn't speak English anymore and only talked in Spanish. Another staff member touched my face and stomach without asking, asked if I was a lesbian and told my 19 year old American friend he only dates American girls when is 48 and kept starring at her. Don't go there especially as a girl.

Cost vs service Excellent balance. I expended 5 nights. Breakfast good enough, facilities enough. There is a spa but I didn't use it. It is located close to the centre, many restaurants and bars around

It's a good place to stay if u are looking for a bed and breakfast. Very simple but clean bedroom with a breakfast that could be improved with a better cofee. We were in 8 people and nobody could use the internet. The wifi didn't work and they said it was because we had IPhones?! This is not a good excuse. I think they should improve that point and rase a few stars!

**Not Handicap or Family Friendly ** We had booked this hostel 2 weeks in advance and coordinated that we had twins and they confirmed that cribs would be provided and that they welcome families. Upon arrival “Flavia” the woman at the front desk was VERY rude and said that she put us on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We asked if someone would be able to help us with our luggage and she said no. She said for more money she could move me to another hotel. You could tell she had intentions to convince us not to stay from the beginning. If they didn’t want families staying here I would have preferred they were honest and upfront from the beginning. We found another hostel in town at a better price and friendly.

We arrived late here and with little plan in the area booked into a free room being told we could stay at a price of 170 a night. |The room was clean but very cold. The wifi only works in the reception but the kitchen was good and so was the breakfast. |The. When we wanted to stay longer the price went up to 180 that day and 220 the next. We didn't like this as its not what we were told at booking in but they made it clear that's the way it was. ||We left. A couple doors down is a fantastic hostel and cheaper. |||
