Tanjung Rhu Resort, Langkawi

We were day visitors at the hotel. The complex has various pools, for adults and also for families with children. We decided to go to the adult pool. It's a very nice place, located right on the private beach. You can really relax here and enjoy excellent drinks and food. There are separate changing rooms/showers and you are also provided with towels. If you really want to relax, this is the place to come.

Beautiful beach, friendly staffs. Peace and cozy. We had a wonderful stay at Tanjung Rhu Beach Resort, Langkawi. The staff were extremely friendly and warm — they greeted us every time we crossed paths, which made us feel truly welcomed.Breakfast was enjoyable with a good mix of Western and local options. The kueh teow soup was especially nice, and the champagne was a fun and pleasant touch! We also had dinner at the resort restaurant — the pizza and drinks were delicious. Dining by the beach while watching the sunset, with the cool sea breeze and peaceful atmosphere, was incredibly cozy. The view is simply priceless — something money can’t measure.The location is excellent. At the corner of the resort’s private beach, you can easily find mangrove tour providers. During high tide, boats can even come directly to the beach to pick you up. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the jetty, where there are more mangrove tour companies. The jetty is also a beautiful spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.The resort offers daily activities as well, which were fun and relaxing. Nature lovers will especially appreciate this place — we spotted a family of dusky leaf monkeys, hornbills, squirrels, and many other birds. It truly feels like a protected natural haven.A perfect retreat for those seeking peace, nature, and a relaxing beachfront experience.

Wow this place is one of the nicest resorts I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home and taken care of. (I've never stayed at a place with a free parking valet, so that was a nice touch.) |Our room was very quiet, spacious, clean, and felt luxurious, with a full tub.|The beach was incredible: soft sand, gently waves, warm water, and completely uncrowded. I spent most of my time here. We took advantage of the nearby watersports vendors and did some standup paddleboarding. |When I managed to peel myself away from the beach, I was at the pool, which was was clean, spacious, and modern. |The food was great as well. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options to choose from. We especially enjoyed the restaurant on the beach with the wonderful live music.|We hope to come back someday!

We visited this beautiful hotel located on the most beautiful beach in Langkawi and were extremely satisfied. The complimentary airport transfer worked perfectly. The check-in was very warm and welcoming – the staff personally escorted us to our room and showed us everything in detail. Upon request, we were given a room on the highest floor with a beach view, which was absolutely fantastic. Some guests complain about the lack of an elevator, but we honestly don’t see it as an issue – the staff happily carry your luggage, and walking a few stairs a couple of times a day is really no problem at all. We also noticed comments about the hotel’s older facilities and ongoing renovations. Considering the hotel is nearly 30 years old, everything is fully functional and well maintained. We didn’t hear any noise from the renovations, as they were carried out while guests were away from their rooms. Moreover, the hotel’s written apology along with a bottle of wine was a very nice and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was of good quality, and we always found something to enjoy during our eight-night stay. The restaurant is also good – prices are higher than on the street, but that’s completely understandable in a resort. A big plus was the separation of adult-only and family pools. The adult pool area was very peaceful, with excellent bar service and well-made, generous drinks that we truly enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Good service, polite and friendly staff. The room was a bit dated but clean and well kept. Lot of storage space. Beautiful big white beach, good swimming pools (one only for adults) Good Wi-Fi all over the estate. Nice breakfast with a very good choice of food. The bed was very comfortable. Great hotel. Absolutely wonderful resort situated in the north of Langkawi with idyllic sunsets, superb staff, multiple restaurants and beautiful private beach. We were well taken care of right from our arrival through to departure. Staff took care of everything from directing us to the restaurants, beach through to helping us park. General manager was so friendly and listening to all of our requests and the rest of the team took great care of us. Resort was pristine and perfect sunsets from the beach. With multiple water features around, instantly felt at peace on arrival Looking forward to our next visit.

We loved our time at this resort!!! The room was spacious, clean, and the AC worked great. Also, I had the most amazing relaxing massage at the spa (shoutout to Sha, she was sooo good)! ||We tried all the restaurants here and liked them all. Also, the drinks/cocktails (both alcohol and non alcoholic) were great! One of the best parts of this resort is the massive, clean beach. We felt like the only people out there! Also, there is a separate adults only pool separated from the family pool which was so nice and usually costs extra to access at other resorts. So, the fact that it was so comfortable and freely accessible was great! Everyone was extremely friendly. We didn’t use the hotel transportation as we had a rental car. However, it was nice that the parking and valet service with our rental car was free and easy to use! The staff was amazing all around. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return some day!

We loved this low-key property on a quiet and stunning Langkawi beach. There is virtually no noisy boat traffic. It has three decent restaurants and two bars— one adults only. Our room was spacious and pleasant. Parts of the rooms could use some minor updating, but there were minimal issues. The best part — aside from the general peacefulness — was the staff. Each member greeted us with a smile and was pleasant and helpful. Top notch. Management made sure we were comfortable for this 25th anniversary celebration!
