I've been to Tank House at least three different times and every time has been a pretty good experience!
For seating, there is indoor and outdoor.. seat yourself. There really isn't a lot of seating inside, so on a busy day, you may have to wait a bit. It's all pretty much booth seating.
When I drive there, I usually luck up and find street parking near by. Not sure if there are garages near by.
You order at the bar (food and drinks), get a number, and they bring the food out to you. There is a self service water station near the bar where you order. I'm not sure how many bartenders there are, but each time I've visited, it was the same bartender and I love him. He is always so pleasant and attentive!
Besides the bartender, service is not bad. It's not a "regular" restaurant where you have a server that checks up on you. If you need something, you'll have to get up and ask lol. I think this concept is not grasped by first timers.. so I can see why some of the reviews are lower starred.
As far as food, the meat is f*ucking delicious.
I've tried them all. Ribs.. brisket.. pulled pork.. the hot link..! My experience has been great for all of them. Super tender and delicious. I love their spicy BBQ sauce, so that definitely aids in the flavor. Honestly all of their bbq sauces are really good!
Sides aren't too bad. I'm personally not a fan of their Mac n cheese. It's really lacking basic flavors. The dirty Mac wouldn't taste good without the pulled pork (or for me added bbq sauce) in my opinion. The greens are really sour / acidic and could use more diced hot links to aid in the flavor and give it a little kick. The smoked mozz bites were not hot and gooey like typical cheese sticks .. the cheese inside wasn't melted AT ALL. I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be, but if I ordered them again it would be takeout so I could go home and heat them up in my air fryer.
Overall this is a place I love taking people! & the people that I have taken, request to go back! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!
