Tanoa International Hotel

Thank you to the staff that work hard making our stay enjoyable. The coffee here is outstanding. It is close to the airport and the pizza is absolutely delicious. Worth the stay if you are just arriving or departing. Thank you to the beautiful team.

When I first planned my birthday trip to Fiji, I contemplated between two hotels, Novotel or Tanoa International and I am so happy and thankful I picked “Tanoa International Hotel” to stay at during my holiday in Fiji. The staff were friendly, welcoming and looked after us well. They reminded me so much of my people (Samoa) they treated us like we were family and the customer service was 10/10! We stayed at Tanoa for 7nights and I’m happy that we picked this particular hotel for the duration of my stay. The facilities were spectacular and clean, the food options at the restaurant were fantastic (especially the desserts) and the breakfast buffet that was on offer every morning was amazing. Their swimming pools were under renovation when we arrived, however that never became an issue as they offered us an alternative of using the swimming pools at their other sister hotels (Tanoa Skylodge & Tanoa Apartments). I would like to do a special shout out to all of the staff that really took care of us, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, recommended lots of places to visit, booked us transportation when we needed it and organised tours for us to do. Special thank you to the Front Office staff Ilisapeci (Queen), Una, Tui, Suli, Inia (Semisi). Also the Food and Beverage staff Tevita (Tracy) and Kuini. With an unfortunate start to our holiday with some miscommunication around our booking, the staff and management of Tanoa International and Tanoa Waterfront all stepped up and far exceeded our expectations with customer service. Very friendly, helpful, and caring staff, who just seem to be everywhere they need to be (well, after all, it is Fiji, but they do seem to take it to another level). Conveniently close to the airport, and west coast beaches, and away from city bustle.

Suli is absolutely fantastic. So friendly and amazing service. I returned to the sushi restaurant hoping to see him again because he’s so nice. Please give him a raise!

This hotel is handy to the airport, so it's great for an overnight before your flight. However, don't rely on their shuttle service to the airport. The shuttle was 30 minutes late, nearly making me late for check-in. This was after me trying to convince them that I wanted to take an earlier shuttle. The room was extremely tired and not the cleanest. There was mould in the bathroom and around the kitchenette. Accommodation was prepaid, and I only had a $40 restaurant tab. A $49 administration fee was added to the bill, making the fees the largest part of the settlement bill. The staff were friendly but mostly didn't really seem to care about service, even taking into account "Fiji Time". I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Attended for a business conference. Generally friendly staff except the one grumpy staff during lunch. A nice place and mostly friendly staff, food was just average though, to my surprise.

Cannot count how many times I have stayed here, and will always absolutely enjoy the hospitality! Special thanks and mention to Ilai and the boys at the bula bar! Cocktails were superb and the morning buffet breakfast never misses 10/10. We will always choose Tanoa Intl for our transits and visits.
