Tanoa Plaza Hotel

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. Check in was efficient and the staff was just so pleasant to deal with. |Breakfast was simple and the staff one again are friendly.|Great hotel and it is clean and comfortable. Check out was smooth. I left my toiletries back behind and, when I called they told me it was waiting for me at reception. Honest staff and great customer service.|Will come back again.

The service here has always been excellent! We constantly run our workshops here and the snacks are probably one of the best! Special thanks to Eka, Roko, Epell, Tima, Rusila, Laite & the Chefs in the kitchen! One thing that I didn’t like is they do not have any loyalty programs! But was glad they upgraded my room this time to executive room so that I get a good view and make sure that I am comfortable!

I recently attended an event at Tanoa Plaza, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The event space was well-organized, clean, and beautifully set up, making it perfect for the occasion. The staff were professional, attentive, and very accommodating to guests’ needs, which made the day run smoothly. I would like to put Epeli and Lo in light as they had the best customer and catering service.

We planned a family event here for 13 May 2025 over a course of 12 months. I live in Australia so this had to be coordinated remotely. The event coordinator for this hotel is terrible with communication – you have to follow up repeatedly to get a response to your emails. They raised the prices on us a month before the event which was pretty poor on their part as we had a contract for an agreed price. For the event day, the event coordinator did not come to meet us to check if everything was Ok. There were two other events running at the hotel concurrently and the number of staff they had on the floor were not enough. The hire costs included water and mints on the table throughout the 4.5 hours that we hired the venue for – I had to chase the staff to have that on the table and to top up water. It was clear the staff were not briefed on what the service expectations were. Afternoon tea was supposed to have been served at 3pm, I had older people at my event who started to leave because they had to travel back home in poor weather. I chased down the staff repeatedly to serve the afternoon tea which did not arrive until nearly 4pm! The program was to have ended at 4pm. The Danish pastries were not enough for the numbers of people we had left and I strongly suspect the custard pie that we had paid for dessert at lunch was re-served to our guests when they ran out of pastries. Extremely disappointed with the service provided. I do not recommend Tanoa Plaza as an event venue.

Staying here for 19 days. Today is my 2nd day here. First night was yesterday. |Just had a lovely dinner. The seared wahoo is definitely worthy!

Everyone’s needs were custom catered. |Great service with the in house caterers. |Would recommend. 10/10 to Tanoa Plaza Suvas.

Poor customer Service |Ordered fishermans basket told us it will be served within 15 to 20 mins but took nearly an hr to be served. My son was very hungry and upon asking they said its ready now but outcome was very bad because cold food was served as if its was made and left there to be cold before serving. Wont be coming here next time.

Short stay at the Tanoa. I had booked this room through an OTA at a substantial discount compared to the hotel website. The room and bathroom were clean and presentable, the buffet breakfast was simple yet appetising, and the staff were hospitable and welcoming. For the right price, I would recommend the Tanoa
