Great ramen with fast friendly service. We got the tonkatsu ramen and chicken broth ramen with the homemade spicy sauce on the side. Very flavorful and a healthy portion at that. Would definitely recommend you check it out. Was a 10 degree January day and it’s kept plenty warm on the inside. Enjoy 😊

Cozy atmosphere with delicious ingredients and flavorful broth! I personally like my noodles on the softer side, the waitress was very friendly and helpful and answered my question if it was possible to cook the noodles for longer, so I will definitely try that next time. If you're in the area and thinking about trying this place out, I would recommend it!

Tanoshii Ramen Tonkotsu Ramen - $14.00 Pork Buns - $5 Total - $20 and change (I keep forgetting to take a photo of the receipt 🤦‍♂️). Broth - 4/5. Really fatty, lacks creaminess, and too much fat/oil (is that even possible?). Didn’t dare to finish drinking it because it definitely felt like I would clog up my arteries. Cha shu - 5/5. Thick fatty cut. It had a very deep soy sauce flavor infused in the lean part of the meat. Definitely really delicious. Noodles - 3/5. Thin noodles. While I could’ve customized the ramen, I wanted to order it as is. It was too soft and didn’t have the firm, bouncy bite I wanted. Side note - The egg in the ramen also had a very deep soy flavor.

We have been ordering from the spot for a while now and they have consistently deliver delicious Ramen. There’s spicy miso broth is awesome. They pack everything up very nicely and we have enjoyed it every time we have had it. It’s always on point the extra spicy is really good as well tons of garlic and hot pepper.

Great ramen restaurant that offers a solid amount of options to choose from and at a not too expensive price. The spicy miso ramen was great, filling, and the right amount of spice. Would definitely stop by again to try out other options that they have. Would recommend to stop by if you’re in the area.

The BEST ramen I have ever had hands down. I’m talking from Canada to KY I’ve never had ramen this good. Packaged with care beyond rich and fresh the crunchy tofu was a TREAT eat here for rich flavor!!! Best vegetarian friendly meal period thank you!

Delicious. I always order Ramen and the pork bun. Every time I order the food comes out fresh and so tasty. The delivery was sooner than expected. I will definitely order from this place again.

Amazing vegan ramen! You wont be able to tell it's vegan, the flavor is legit! The chicken and spicy miso are great as well. You really cant go wrong with any of the menu selections. I recommend adding garlic paste if ur a garlic girl and extra scallion. Servers are kind and attentive as well :)

price - $80 including tax and tip food - 4/5 service - 4.5/5 ambiance - 4/5 overall, this is definitely one of the better japanese restaurants serving ramen in the bay ridge area. i highly recommend the spicy miso ramen because its filled with flavor. it has a perfect balance of spice and miso flavor. the tonkotsu was good but it wasnt as good as their spicy miso ramen. their gyoza was AMAZING. it was crunchy on the outside yet moist and soft on the inside. these dumplings only contain beef so its definitely halal friendly within the bay ridge area. the service was top tier, serving us water and giving us ample time to figure out what we wanted to eat. they also checked up on us numerous times. the ambiance is definitely very chill but the chairs are slightly uncomfortable so thats something to beware of in the future. definitely try this place out!!!!

Came here on a whim on a Friday night. We were seated right away. Waitress service fast and to the point. I got tonkotsu flavor broth, they also had a low sodium option, which I opted for. It came with mushroom, corn, soy egg, bamboo shoots, and pork belly added in bok choy for 1.5 dollars extra. Overall broth was typical and I was happy to get the low sodium option as it was flavorful. The pork was good melt in your mouth. Only thing the noodles were too chewy but overall great spot!

Got the tonkotsu ramen and black garlic tonkotsu ramen at Tanoshii. There was no wait on a Friday night and the staff was very friendly. The food came out quickly and the portions were good. It's not quite traditional Japanese ramen, so beware if that's what you're looking for. Overall, the ramen was ok, flavorful but a bit salty. I subbed the pork in the black garlic tonkotsu for tofu, but that might've been the wrong move. The tofu is fried, and retains the oil so that, plus black garlic oil, made my soup too oily and difficult to finish. The ramen noodles were cooked well though and the roasted pork is very flavorful. It's not chasiu but it's got a nice crisp outside and the flavor is strong. Overall, it's a decent place for a hot bowl of ramen on a chilly day.

Chilly Weather has finally happened and I celebrate it with Ramen. Best place for Ramen? Tanoshii Ramen, hands down. The broth is richer than Elon Musk. Chicken is tender and flavorful. And the vegetables are fresh and perfectly cooked. I've tried other places - Tanoshii wins, hands down.

If you're looking for delicious ramen you've stopped at the right spot. I've put my coworkers on to this spot and they all love it as well. We get it delivered and once it arrives I take the egg out, put my broth, mix it up and put it in the microwave for about 2 mins to get the noodles to my liking. Plus I prefer my soup hot as well. I always order a side of the spicy sauce and sometimes an extra.

Such an amazing ramen spot in the area! Not only is the staff very attentive and hospitable, but the food is delicious too! I would highly recommend the chicken ramen and the wings. The broth for the ramen is super flavorful and the noodles had a great bite. The wings are well seasoned and well fried. The food is healing and comforting. Would come back to try their other dishes and would definitely recommend this spot to satisfy any noodle cravings!

FANTASTIC!! AMAZING!! REAL RAMEN!! This is truly a hidden gem. Good QUALITY food the way it should be made, full of flavor and awesome service and at an AFFORDABLE price!!! I mean? What else can you asked for?? I live in NJ and I was there just accompanying a friend but If I would've lived close by, this will be my GO TO place. Ramen is only $15 and for those who dont know, some of the ingredients take HOURS to make, other days (like the fermented hard boiled egg takes 2 days). EXCELLENT

Stopped by for a quick bite after a massage next door, & I was pleasantly surprised by the ramen here! I ordered the spicy miso ramen ($15) and received my order within minutes. The spicy miso broth is flavorful and mildly spicy, and not too rich! Ramen noodles were perfectly al dente and complemented the broth well. The spicy ground meat was also one of my favorite toppings as it was really flavorful, but everything else was nothing to write home about. Portion size was perfect for me, though I could also see it being a bit small for others. Service was incredibly attentive and kind - there was only one server, but she frequently checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant itself is a bit small but well spaced - perfect for grabbing a meal with a friend, but not great for large parties.

Ordered the tonkotsu ramen for the second time this week so my husband could try it. Delivery came quick and food was packaged really nice. The Ramen was really really delicious noodles perfect , veggie in it perfectly cooked and pork belly was delicious. Broth had such s nice flavor my husband loved it!

Spacious and has good amount of seating. The service is really friendly and they're really accommodating. I really wanted to like this place because of how nice they were but the ramen does need more work. My husband and I ordered 2 ramens (spicy tan tan and spicy miso) and crispy Brussels sprouts. Portion was good. I did like the pork that came with the ramen, it was very tender. However, the flavors of the broth was definitely more Chinese and less Japanese. Brussel sprout was pretty good, I would have liked it more if it was more crispy.

This place is good. It's a small mom and pops shop in bay ridge, so the service is very nice. The food feels warm and like home cooked so that's a plus. No complaints here, it's just good. Would come here again because everything is fresh and homemade. Definitely will still be supporting this place.

This is one of the best Ramen noodle restaurants in Brooklyn. I have only ordered takeout, the house special Tanoshii Ramen. I have ordered it several times and have always been very happy with the disk. The portions were great, the taste was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Ramen palace.

Fast, casual ramen spot located in Bay ridge, Brooklyn. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and place wasn't so busy. We picked our own table and was handed menus. We ordered the spicy tan tan ramen and spicy miso ramen with extra noodles on the side. I like the broth for the spicy tan tan ramen; there is a Szechuan chili oil added to the base broth, which I like since I like my food spicy. But this isn't super spicy, just a mild numbing kick. The miso ramen wasn't really spicy at all and broth was more on the mild side. Each bowl of ramen was about $16. It was a quick sit down lunch but overall, still a delicious, satisfying meal. Would recommend if you're craving some ramen and around the area.

Was recommended by a friend who lives in the neighborhood and I am totally impressed. Tonashii offers a small menu including low sodium broth?! Broth is heavy and thick in texture covering each strand of noodle slurp after slurp. Friendly service. Decent prices.

A solid, solid ramen option in the area. We stopped by here after a brief jaunt through Dyker Heights for the holiday lights and I must say, it was my favorite Dyker Heights outing yet. After walking through the cold and crowded streets marveling at cutting edge holiday light technology, a warm bowl of tonkatsu with chewy yellow ramen noodles is a perfect end to the night. The edamame was solid and well flavored. The kids noodle bowl for $9 is more than just Kaedema. It comes with your choice of noodles and broth. Charsu pork in the noodles was good. The broth in the tonkotsu was fine, but the miso and the mala broth were more flavorful. The poached egg was a bit overdone, but they give you two halves, which is more than at other places. The charsu bun had a pillowy soft bao, but the pork belly itself was a bit dry. The service was very welcoming and we enjoyed the hot tea with our meal. Definitely a go to spot for future visits to the area!

The gf and I were craving something hot and soupy to eat and this place came up on our search. Note that this review was done via dining out. We ended up getting the Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Tan Tan Ramen, and a couple of pork buns. The Tonkostu ramen was good. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was filled with flavors. The soy egg was perfectly cooked (it was still oozing yoke out once we pierced it). Pork belly was perfect as well (2 pieces) but it was a good portion of meat and fat. Good amount of veggies and corn. The Spicy Tan Tan was also good. The broth was filed with a lot of flavors with a kick of heat (the schezwan kinda heat). The noodles, bok choy, ground pork were all perfectly looked. The soy egg like stated above was perfect. I ended up drinking a lot the broth trying to eat up every piece of pork meat. The pork buns were good. A bit smaller then I imagined though. With the first initial bite it reminded me of eating like a grilled pork banh mi as it had pickled veggies and a crunchy cucumber. The sauce they used was just enough where it was not overwhelming. The pork was cooked well and not dry. Would def get this again. Overall a nice spot to get your ramen fix at. Now excuse me while I fall into a food coma.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of ramen here at this small ramen shop! Bay Ridge isn't exactly known for its ramen, but Tanoshii delivers delicious ramen at a great price! Bowls are typically $13 here, with $1-2 extra for toppings. We came here on a Saturday night and had the whole place to ourselves. The shop is small but clean. We ordered takoyaki for the table, which wasn't that great. The flavor was good but it didn't have much octopus in it. I ordered a Tonkotsu ramen, which comes with chasu, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and corn. Pretty generous toppings for that price. The chasu and egg were cooked perfectly, soft, and melty in the mouth. The broth was very rich but a tad too salty and the noodles were the perfectly chewy consistency. I can definitely see myself slurping a hot bowl of ramen here on a cold winter night. Ramen craving satisfied!

This is a pretty solid ramen shop. (3.5 on ramen). I'm always grateful for restaurants reopening and staying in business. I appreciate small businesses more than ever because during the pandemic (we're still in it), I saw way too many small mom-pop shuttered... and those spaces turned to vacant spots leaving us without a real sense of community. Craving ramen... at least a decent bowl without traveling to Willyburg or the city with 2 kids. We took a short drive to Bay Ridge and found Tanoshii (thanks Yelper!). The chef & one wait staff, very pleasant and very kind. They have reopened for dine-in, cuz no one wants to do take-out ramen... that's just asking for disappointment. (Doesn't matter. Just can't package ramen. Period.) One page menu (wish it was a little more expansive but nonetheless serves enough variety). As for food: We got the Takoyaki and Spicy Wings, it's ok but we knew these weren't the stars. Kids liked them. Ramen: Tonkotsu (flavorful & rich), Spicy Miso (flavorful & mild heat), Spicy Tan Tan (mild heat, a bit too salty) and a Kid's chicken bone broth (flavorful - comes with nothing, added poached egg & chicken meat). I would have preferred the Spicy Miso with the soy egg vs. poached egg... didn't have the wow factor, changed the white noodle to yellow noodles for me. Overall, it's unanimous, we would return for another bowl of ramen! #happyslurping #yelplife

I liked this place. I was clean (I didn't use the bathroom), the woman was very nice and they had seating available. I even got a parking spot right in front, so we were off to a good start. I had the brussel sprouts and they were good but I've had much better. I also had the tonkotsu ramen and added the ground pork. That was also good, though I've had better. Just dined at Tanoshii Ramen for the first time on 12/23. The ramen was delicious and I LOVED the broth. Service: 4/5 Attentive and brought the sauces we asked for. Food Options: 4.5/5 There are vegetarian, miso, chicken, & pork broth options (no seafood broths or seafood in any of the ramen dishes). I tried Miso-based Ramen & added extra bak choy and chili oil (on the side). Food Quality: 5/5 The ramen was cooked just right, not soggy or crunchy. The pork was grilled, but still had a healthy amount of fat on it. (2 slices came with the dish, it's extra charge for additional pork). The broth was hearty & not too salty. I appreciated all of the "EXTRAS" they offer, so that whether you are vegetarian or not, you're able to build the ramen bowl you desire. Restaurant Decor: 3/5 It was CLEAN. But the food is the focus, not the decor or the ambiance. Tables and chairs are hard wood, and the restaurant gives "local-hole-in-the-wall" vibes. Simply a great neighborhood ramen place, it doesn't have the decorative pizazz of other spots around BK or the City, but that's the appeal...the FOOD! Last night, I had a dream about RAMEN. I woke up craving ramen. Problem is... I didn't even like ramen... until today when I ordered from Tanoshii Ramen. The Ramen I've tried up until this point was all wrong. Tanoshii did everything right. I ordered on Yelp for delivery ($2.99 fee) - 1 order of the Takoyaki (something I know for sure that I enjoy) and the Miso Ramen with added Fried Tofu (a dish I wasn't quite sure I'd be thrilled about). Contactless delivery was easy-breezy, and the woman dropping off my food was sure to place the bag in a spot that wouldn't be covered from the rain (THANK YOU SO MUCH!). The broth arrived piping hot and separate from the noodles, pork, veggies and FRIED TOFU. It was SO, so good. It was at that moment that I realized I do like ramen, but I had just tried sub-par versions before. Tanoshii delivered a perfect broth, fresh noodles, and succulent pork. Please don't get me started on what a great addition the tofu was to this bowl. Heavenly. The Takoyaki arrived hot as well. The perfect combo of savory and sweet... such beautiful little puffs, they were. I devoured them. I'm not sure if they're still running a lunch special because I didn't notice discounted prices on the menu for delivery, but I'd pay $14 for that Miso Ramen bowl any day. So worth it.

My husband is always looking for new/good ramen places for me to try. It's all the more amazing because he doesn't eat it himself (or rather does not eat red meat and seafood). He found me a place in the city that I love and he would often bring it home for me after work. All that changed when the pandemic hit and he found himself looking for another "favorite," he found Tanoshii Ramen in Brooklyn. I know every person has their own tastes and at first, I thought this place was really good, but not as good as my city fav, but having had it so many times now during quarantine - it has become an equal favorite with it being great that it's even closer to home. I have actually never been inside myself, but my husband has said they were nice. I have tried the miso ramen and the tonkatsu ramen and the miso ramen is my favorite. The miso is made with the wavy yellow noodles and the tonkatsu uses the straight white noodles. I liked them both, but the miso was more hearty for me so I enjoy it better. Their regular portions are pretty good too. Two slices of pork - not too thin and a whole egg with corn, bamboo shoots and scallions (though I nix those last two). The lunch special is like 9.95 and has 1 slice of pork and half an egg. Both are good values and filling. I always buy 2 at a time because even later in the day or the next day, it's still so yummy. I have some of this ramen just about once a week :) Just had my fix and looking forward to another one next week. Enjoy!

Would go again. Would also try another restaurant. Food and service was decent. Small restaurant but felt roomy without too many people and bright lights. Personally, I thought the food was decent; nothing to rave about, but not bad either. Solid. The set ramen items have better value than customizing your ramen bowl unless you're OK with fewer ingredients in your ramen bowl. This place provides plastic straws with their free water. The wait for the ramen wasn't long at all. The bathroom at this place is very spacious. Heavy door. Large mirror.

Bay ridge never fails to surprise me, when was there a ramen place here?? We ordered: Takoyaki ($7) Tonkotsu Ramen ($14) w/ fried tofu add-on ($2) Spicy Tantan Ramen ($14) w/ roast pork add-on ($2.5) Japanese soda ($3) The interior was small but cozy and very quiet. You can smell the broth the moment you enter the shop! Takoyaki was very crispy and I love the bonito flakes ontop. I felt like it could've been better if they added kewpie Mayo on it like most takoyaki do. Not a big deal though, it was still pretty good! I got the tonkotsu ramen and they offered low sodium option! Yay to being healthy! The broth was very flavorful and rich yet still managed to be light. I hate bamboo shoots but surprisingly, it paired well with the broth and provided the perfect crunch. The roast pork just melts in your mouth because of the fat content! I feel so guilty eating this LOL. The fried tofu was an interesting add on as it felt like a fried empty shell but soaked in the broth made it taste amazing! And the best part is THE EGG!!! The marinated egg is absolutely the star of the dish! I wish I requested more ugh. My brother had the spicy tantan ramen which had a much heavier and richer broth than the tonkotsu. It came with ground pork, cabbage and a poached egg! Overall, this was a good ramen fix, especially when it was freezing outside. The prices were pretty standard and I love the ton of options for add-ons. Service was quick, so quick that the girl handed me the bill before I asked haha.

10/10 I was craving ramen and was in the bay ridge area so I looked up ramen on Yelp and this place came up first with the best ratings. It was about 20 degrees out so a hot soup was exactly what I needed. Super tasty edamame and my chicken ramen was fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

We ordered for pick-up. Although there was a slight hiccup with our order (we asked for cilantro but the lady packaging the order gave scallion instead, I checked the order before leaving and just asked them to add some cilantro, which they did) Anyways, we ordered Spicy tantan ramen (spicy ground pork, bakchoi, seasoned egg). Really enjoyed the flavor, thumbs up from both of us. The texture of the noodles was the perfect "gummi-ness?", not soggy and overcooked.

i had the Miso Ramen. It was pretty good. The yellow noodles were firm and chewy. The flavor was good too and the pork charsu slices were hearty and soft. the edamame app. was good. I usually just judge a place by wanting or not wanting to go back. This place i would go back

I ordered take out from Tanoshii and it was quick! I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and takoyaki- it was good but I wish there was a little mor.. but overall it's a good bowl of ramen. I'd go back if I was craving ramen but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Placed ordered for lunch takeout, and wanted to try their signature noodles. Decided on the Spicy Tan-Tan Ramen with soup. Broth tasted really good with just enough spice to not over shadow the rest of the veggies and noodles. Ramen itself was okay, texture needed more of a bounce though. The soy egg added an extra touch to this Noodle dish. Overall, good lunch choice.

I'm back here for their lunch special again. This time I tried their chicken bone ramen which comes with chicken instead of pork. I was surprise how tender the chicken was. I got it with less salt and yellow noodle. The waitress is really friendly, the moment my boyfriend and I got seated water was served. $9.95 for lunch special is a steal and you can't find any good ramen spots in bay ridge!

The spicy tan tan ramen, is what I ordered. I love how spicy it is, and i added chili oil as well, because I'm insane. The meat was full of flavor. The only reason this isn't getting a 5, is because my egg was COLD. I just broke it up and stirred it around my soup, but biting into it, it was very unexpected.

Tanoshii Ramen makes quite a delicious bowl of comforting, creamy ramen. The chicken broth has a delightful umami flavor and the noodles have a great chew. Not one for the traditional slurping, i nonethless enjoyed every bite with the crunchy veggies they provided. The homemade chili oil you can add to your order are def a must if you like a bit of kick. Service was polite, fast, and customer-friendly. i did takeout, so i imagine that the food tastes even better when it's fresh. Def recommend Tanoshii if you're looking for ramen that'll be filling and satisfying.

Delicious. Service & Food 5/5 Shrimp bao bun was so crispy. Gyozas are so good. The inside is nice and clean and quiet. This is a spot I want to make sure I go to everytime I'm in Brooklyn.

Glad to finally see a spot in the neighborhood that puts ramen FIRST. Everything from the decor to long noodle hot ramen bowls - phenomenal. The staff, considering being new, were very welcoming and accommodating when explaining their dishes, what they have to offer, and overall what they have that TASTE BEST. We started with the fried calamari, unfortunately this was a mistake, bad choice on our part and freeze frying calamari, bad choice on their part. It became a gummy mess with little to no flavor, and the sauce could do nothing to save it. When it came down to the RAMEN though, . We tried the traditional tonkotsu ramen and found the broth to be well bodied and homey. The egg blended well into then broth and brought it all together with the noodles. The spicy tan tan ramen was the clear winner today as I couldn't get enough! Definitely ask for the chili sauce in the back as even if you can't take the heat, just do it for the flavor! I added roast pork to this afraid that the ground pork would not be enough, but there is more than enough to go around! My suggested ramen! Will he here anytime I have a craving for some ramen.

I had the miso ramen and I couldn't believe how great it is! It's delicious! Huge portion, but I just kept on eating because I was enjoying... Finally stopped and I will have leftovers tomorrow. I also ordered crispy Brussels sprouts. I'm so glad this place opened!

When my friend comes to NY for a weekend visit, she usually has specific requests as to what she is craving. This weekend, it was Mission Ramen, and she had Tanoshii Ramen booked from her drive in from PA. My husband and I have been meaning to give this place a try, so we went Saturday afternoon, well after the lunch rush. We literally got the last table for two at this place. The space is small, but does the job. Wood furniture and modern, industrial accents decorate the place for a simple and clean look. Our waitress was super friendly, and she was surprised that we only wanted to share a bowl of the spicy tantan ramen bowl. We were tempted with the additional toppings they offered, such as extra scallions, egg, pork belly or vegetables, but we decided to be purists in the end. The amount of depth this bowl had and the unami was really exceptional; my expectations were pretty low. This was a fairly decent bowl of ramen and the heat was just enough for my liking! The fattiness of the broth was so comforting and tasty, that next time, I will have NO intention of sharing! The noodles had great elasticity to them as well, that had me pretty certain they were fresh and homemade. Great presentation; I was overall pretty happy. I will be bringing the hubby back here as soon as the temperatures hit single digits!
