Tanpopo Ramen & Sushi Restaurant

My favorite ramen spot in the area. The owner is really nice. Got an appetizer, ramen, and soda for $30. They have lunch and dinner specials as well. Good small dine in vibes, and they have a drive through window for take out!

We found the rare sub-$15 bowl of ramen in what appears to be an old fast food restaurant. But while the price made me happy, the ramen was just okay. I guess that's the trade-off, eh? The tonkotsu broth doesn't have a lot of punch but it came out at the right temperature -- hot enough that I needed to blow on it. A handful of standard toppings, headlined by really crisp bamboo shoots, sit on top of a good portion of noodles. The pork was disappointing and I'm not convinced it was actually belly given the lack of fatty, savory flavor.

I have ordered way too much stuff just to be completely disappointed. The chicken shoyu ramen was smelling so bad I could not eat anything except the egg, the bibimrice chicken had this small red sauce with it and it tasted disgusting when all mixed together probably because of the stale kimchi, chicken fried rice had burnt rice.

Wish had found this place sooner! The owner kindly greeted my family and me and discussed her restaurant's vegan options at our table. Our server was wonderful as well. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere relaxing - pleasant and upbeat. I look forward to returning here again!

I enjoyed my first trip here and I could see myself coming back. The food isn't amazing, but it's still good and worth exploring. Spicy Dan Dan Ramen - Was good but again, didn't blow me away. The broth flavor was average and didn't stand out to me. The egg and pork belly were cooked excellent and my favorite part. The sushi was delicious and I would definitely come back for more. I had the Spicy Tuna, Cherry Blossom, and Fire Cracker roll. I certainly didn't need 3 rolls but I'm happy I got them.

I've been here three times, and they were all wonderful. Great (and patient) service. Outstanding food with a lot of variety with sushi, ramen, and appetizers. Very good seating, if a bit more compact. Not noisy and you can easily talk at your table without having to yell. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing spot to eat sushi.

The staff did a great job with my to go order. They were nice and had me going quickly. The sushi was good, and they gave me plenty of soy sauce. The miso soup was the perfect temperature, and consistency.

Tremendous food with some of the tastiest ramen in Milwaukee. I want to try everything on the menu but I always go back to my standard order just because I like it so much. The staff is very kind and very attentive. I always make it a point to visit every time I'm in town.
