A modern Peruvian restaurant offering a well-organized space and a relaxed but lively atmosphere. Service was attentive and efficient throughout the visit.
The drinks menu is varied and well curated. We tried the pisco sour and a spearmint (yerba buena) lemonade, both well balanced and refreshing. As a starter, the anticucho was flavorful and properly cooked.
Among the main dishes, the Gran Combinado stands out: arroz con pollo served with papa a la huancaína and ocopa, a classic and satisfying combination. We also ordered “El Asado de la Abuela”, a tender beef dish served with mashed potatoes and rice, comforting and well executed.
Overall, Tanta is a reliable choice for traditional Peruvian cuisine in Lima, with generous portions, familiar flavors and a solid menu that works well both for locals and visitors.
