Tao Boba. A Modern Coffee + Boba Tea Bar

Not a huge fan of boba, but I really enjoyed Tao, I may be fully onboard now. I tried a bit of everyone's in our party and they were all so good! I'll have to go back and try something else from their extensive, unique menu.

Tao Boba is AWESOME. Only boba shop I visit downtown :) The macarons they have are GREAT with the tea and I've loved every tea I've gotten from them. My personal favorites? The Matcha and Ube Creme Brulee. Absolutely delicious and every server is incredibly kind.

She makes the teas and jams fresh and there are no powders used in the drinks. The drink quality is on par with a Starbucks but with less artificial ingredients, All drinks an over $7 with a large(16oz) hitting about $9. The ambiance is ok. You could squeeze out a short remote work session from here but it wouldn’t make sense to do a longer stretch in the comfortable but plastic chairs. I can’t comment on speed or service too much as the time I went I. There she was training a new person so it took forever to get my drink.

I tried the Dalgona boba coffee and it was delicious. Not too sweet, chewy boba and the perfect amount of caffeine in this cup. Will be back to try their brown sugar series and winter melon tea.

Tried the Dalgona, Eye of the Tiger, and Ube Crème Brûlée—and each drink was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the service was amazing. The staff was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain the drinks and make great recommendations. You can tell they really care about both the drinks and the customer experience. Definitely a place worth coming back to again!

Tried the Dalgona with boba pearls and it was so good. The coffee flavor was smooth and rich, and the boba pearls were perfectly chewy—not too hard, not too soft. Everything was well balanced and not overly sweet. The service was really good too. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even better. Definitely a drink I’d order again!

Great service-very friendly! Brown sugar boba, cheese taiyaki, and strawberry sando were all exactly what I wanted. Nice space and good food/drinks!
