Visited on Saturday about 1-2pm. Wasn't sure what to expect based on some reviews. Wasn't busy. Really cool atmosphere and the slice of Ranchero pizza I had and the wife's White pie was perfect! Cooked perfect, crisp crust, fresh ingredients and delicious cold beer! I could possibly see long wait times for food when it is busy. They should probably shrink the menu and only offer certain pizza on certain days so they can be fresh and ready to go. This place should be busy all the time!

Amazing family owned place with vegan and vegeterian options. Their veggie pizzas are great. The garlic cheese bread is a must try.

I’ve been here probably 10 times over the last decade. My review of the place has largely stayed the same (Bad ownership), but today’s visit left enough of an impression to leave a review. The pizza is decent. It’s good and tastes freshly made. No big complaints on the food, but the dough is quite thick and dry. We ordered with a very sweet and responsive server who updated us several times during the 1.5 hours we waited for our two pizzas. When it was time to pay, our server told the owner who was manning the cash counter that she thinks we should get a discount because of how long we waited. The owner says no and asserts that the wait was due to a Holiday, I respond with that should have been shared as we sat down. To which she responds the wait was unforeseen: it doesn’t seem like it was because of a holiday then, does it? 82$ for two pizzas, garlic bread, and salad. Safe to say next time around I’ll stick with the conclusion I made the last three times and not be back.

I’ve been going to Taos pizza Outback since it was outback pizza and they had to change their name due to the steakhouse chain filing a lawsuit. No matter where you go you may find a night staff are having a bad shift or they happen to be insanely busy but go to any tourist town and this happens. Throughout the years of new owners it seems they try to keep with tradition and I’d say they do a darn good job. The pesto dressing is still going strong! Minus the walnuts. Tonight service was wonderful; staff super friendly and accommodating and the pizza was delicious. Well done Taos pizza outback. I’ll still be recommending you guys for some good vibes and pizza!!!

Fantastic pizza with a great new mexico atmosphere. Had the joy of swinging by this place on my most recent vacation. The pizza had a semi sweet sauce with a crispy undercarriage and the crust has a neat twist on the end. Definitely a great find and somewhere I would come back to again and again!

Whenever we visit Taos, we absolutely have to stop in and eat at Taos Pizza Out Back. I do not remember how we found it, due to it being a hidden gem. Every pizza we have tried tastes great and the crust is out of this world! Time to get Dave Portnoy out here with a rating. They have a great selection of craft beer on tap that never disappoints. On a road trip or from Taos? Then you have to stop in have a beer with a slice.

I never write reviews, but I hope the owner sees this. GREAT food, everyone loved it. As a business, it is being ran inefficiently. It is sad to see a product that is fantastic, but loses credibility because the service and times given for completion are chaos. No problem waiting a couple hours, especially during a busy time, but to be told it is ready and then sit at the restaurant for 1.5 hours was disheartening. Staff not knowing what our order was, not knowing who was next, other people waiting and upset that they were in the same situation, was not a good look. I want the food again, but do not trust the process enough to order here a second time. Get focused, get disciplined and run this business correctly, the food will take it to the top!

Favorite pizza spot in Taos! Highly recommend the carnivore pizza, it was served hot with a yummy braided crust topped with sesame seeds. Def must try the Greek salad, topped with alfalfa sprouts that make it a flavorful combination. Friendly waitstaff and great local beers.
