This restaurant is actually inside the train station. It's not easy to find upon entering. You must make a reservation in advance. You wouldn't believe how booming its business is. The food there is simply delicious. It leaves a lasting impression and is truly memorable. From the mark trace in the glass, you can see how much good of the beer. The service staff are very enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend it. Don't miss out.

I LOVE Tapabento. We came here at 6:45pm right before opening on a Sunday evening and there was already a line. We don’t have a reservation so we were nervous about not making the cut to get a table right at 7! Thankfully we were able to get one and the waitstaff were incredibly kind — they allowed us to have the last table and let us know that we just need to get up by 8:30 which was easy to do for us. I also appreciated waiters who tell you when you’ve over-ordered! Which is exactly what they did! Highly recommend going early or making reservations if possible! The best things we had were the oxtail dumplings, tiger prawns, mussels, duck, and literally the best dessert - the chocolate hazelnut truffle!

Great spot with a variety of unique tapas style dishes. They were able to accommodate us without a reservation on a busy Friday night. The Tiger Shrimp Risotto was unlike anything I’ve had before - definitely a memorable place! The red wine sangria and mushroom focaccia were also great selections.

What a fantastic find! This place came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. We didn’t have a reservation but decided to try our luck. Even though there were already over 50 people in line when we arrived around 6:45 pm (they open at 7:00 pm), we were close to the front. They seat those with reservations first, followed by walk-ins. Luckily, my wife and I got in right away and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was excellent. We started with hummus and garlic bread, then enjoyed the chicken & prawn Asian noodles and the cod gratin. Every dish was superb, bursting with incredible flavors. For dessert, we had the "I don't want fruit salad," and I paired everything with a Super Bock ale, which was delicious. This place is truly outstanding—the food is exceptional and a must-visit when you're in Porto. It's located inside the train station on the left-hand side as you enter ther station.

Loved it! The restaurant location is in the train station which made for a cozy and authentic old world feel. Everything we ordered was delicious ( Oxtail dumplings, Fish soup, Bruschetta, Tiger prawns)! However, the garlic tiger prawns stole the show! The large prawns were drenched in a deep rich garlic, lime and cilantro sauce. They were incredible. Must eat with your hands to really enjoy the entirety. The service was top notch. Our waiter was above and beyond accommodating and friendly. It was my best friend's birthday and they brought the most delicious dessert topped with a candle. They even sang to her. Overall... I highly recommend Tapabento!

We made a reservation, and when we arrived about 8:00 30, there was still long line up. So highly recommend that you make a reservation if you wanted to come here. Also try to get an earlier seating because some of the seafood that do sell out later on in the evening. We have to say the hostess was phenomenal in her service. We were seated promptly. However, it took a while for a server to come to our table and we did wait about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server was apologetic for the delay. We would highly recommend the pork cheeks confit and tomato bread, but the clams portion was a bit small. Overall, it was a decent experience.

The food is absolutely incredible. We accidentally showed up after the 15 min grace period bc of confusing construction and they accommodated us even tho our table was given away. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Overall amazing dining experience.

If you're looking for an amazing dinner, you must come here when you're in Porto. If, like us, you can't get in on the first day due to the queue, don't worry—you can book for the next evening, and it's absolutely worth it! The food is fantastic, and the service is wonderful. Eric, our waiter, explained everything and recommended the best dishes. We had tuna in sesame, Thai-style mussels, shrimp, and their famous seafood platter. The presentation, sides, and overall concept show that this restaurant knows exactly what it's doing! 👏 Congratulations, and we highly recommend it to everyone! 🍽️🐟🦐🦀
