Where To Eat Outside In Kensington Today - London - The Infatuation

"Brindisa in South Kensington really comes into its own when the sun is out, the windows are open, and the outside seating is laid out. The usual standard tapas classics are all on the menu, so if you’re in need of a half-decent meal near the museums, this isn’t a bad shout." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley

Busy tapas-like restaurant that has the feel of a chain rather than the one-off at Boroughs Market. Tables are exceptionally close and the layout is labrynthine. That said the tables by the window are light with a great view. The menu is basic tapas fair with some nice touches here and there. Feels 10~15% overpriced for the quality. Again, mass catering rather than home-made or cheffed-with-pride fare. Saltier than I would wish, another red flag. Service was brisk and very friendly - made the visit worthwhile. Overall not a destination. A handy place if you have to be in the neighbourhood, but functional rather than great. Top tip is that the mixed platter (£30) is a light meal for 2 and with 2 other dishes would make a great supper that’s not over the top.

Great place, great service, perfect food. Good quality of food, served quickly. We choose a starter and a 2 person tapas plate what was a perfect choise for us. We'll go back if we are in that area again

We were a party of five dining at Casa Brindisa on the evening of 20th April, and I must say, it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was seamless – and much of that is thanks to Cintia, whose service was absolutely spotless from start to finish.Cintia was attentive without being intrusive, effortlessly friendly, and clearly took genuine pride in ensuring we had a brilliant evening. Her timing was impeccable, recommendations spot-on, and she handled our table with both charm and utmost professionalism. It’s rare to come across service this consistently polished – she made us feel truly welcomed and looked after, which elevated the whole experience. The food, too, was superb – a special mention must go to the squid ink black rice, which was rich, flavourful, and beautifully balanced. Easily one of the highlights of the evening, and not to be missed. We all left in high spirits, already chatting about our next visit. And while the food and ambience were top-notch, it’s Cintia who’s the real reason we’ll be back. Staff like her are absolute gems – Casa Brindisa is lucky to have her.Highly recommended.

I recently visited a charming Spanish restaurant and had an incredible dining experience, largely thanks to the excellent service provided by our waitress, Sakshi. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Sakshi's warm and welcoming demeanor truly made our visit memorable. The food was fantastic, and the service, particularly from her, elevated the experience even further. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're lucky enough to have Sakshi as your server!

We walked into the tapas bar with the usual hope to find some nice food, we are Spanish living in London. The product is ok but the portions are ridiculous. I ordered some jamón ibérico, half portion £14. It was the most ridiculous amount of jamón I ever seen on a source. Come on guys, how much money you want to make with a leg of ham? The boquerónes del Cantábrico were very nice, but again, 5 fish bits for £8.5 The rest of the tapas in line with the mentioned above. The waiter managed to spill a whole ketchup dish on my son's trousers but we didn't say anything, things happen, my daughter managed to break a wine glass at same time, it all looked chaotic for a minute. The best was the 1906 beer. I will come back again just to have more of that

my recent experience at your restaurant, Tapas Brindisa South Kensington, which was deeply disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback seriously as it reflects several areas that need urgent improvement: 1. Service & Hospitality: • The host was unwelcoming, and I perceived discriminatory behavior. Despite requesting a specific table, it was given to another group who arrived after us. This felt unfair and unprofessional. • The manager, who was wearing a black suit, did not exhibit any hospitality. She was unfriendly and did not seem engaged in creating a welcoming atmosphere. There was no acknowledgment, no smile, and no thanks when handing over the bill or the change. This left a negative impression on our overall dining experience. 2. Food Quality: • The food itself was underwhelming. Many of the dishes were lukewarm, and overly oily with an excessive amount of olive oil. There was nothing particularly special or memorable about the dishes, considering the price. 3. Value for Money: • The prices of the dishes were much too high for the portion sizes and the quality. Paying £18-£24 per dish felt unreasonable. Adding a 13.5% service charge on top of that, despite the poor service, made the overall experience feel overpriced and not worth the visit. Overall, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others. I hope you can address these issues to improve both your service and food quality for future customers.

Fantastic and delicious Spanish tapas the menu is extensive and has great Spanish staple dishes. Everything we ate was very flavourful. Located in the heart of South Kensington. Great menu and good friendly service.
