The Best Restaurants in Jaipur for Outdoor Dining, From Rooftop Lounges to Microbreweries

"Tea lovers should experience Tapri Central’s vintage charm and array of fragrant teas. You could sip on their teas—which range from basic herbal tea to handcrafted blends like the Jasmine Pearl (white tea with a hint of jasmine)—and munch on comfort food such as the tadka Maggi and vada pav (served with the spicy chillies). To top it off, the location has a gorgeous view of the city."

Tapri Central never disappoints! I’ve been coming here regularly for the past few years and their consistency is remarkable. Although they have four outlets in Jaipur, Tapri "Central" is the best among them. Rest are are also good but not as good as this one !! Every visit feels fresh yet familiar — a perfect blend of great food, beautiful ambience and warm service. I’m attaching photos from my last 3–4 visits, which show how consistently amazing this place performs! Top recommendations from my visits: – Sautéed Mushrooms – Dal Pakwan (their “Gau Ro Pizzo” twist) – Quinoa Upma – Hot, piping Indian tea served in classic Ramjara glasses – Bun Muska – Chotu Idli Platter – Moonglet – Garlic Bread with Cheese (and honestly everything else on the menu! - Samosa, Vada pavs, sandwiches, chaats , pizzas ....list doesn't end ! ) What sets Tapri apart is the spectacular view — you can sip tea while watching the city and catch stunning sunsets. The menu is unique and creative, offering a fun mix of comfort food and inventive snacks. If you’re in Jaipur and want a place with an awesome view, quirky menu, and consistently good food, Tapri Central is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Tapri is one of those places that leaves you impressed on multiple fronts. The food here is absolutely amazing—not just in terms of taste, but also the quality and portion sizes served. Every dish feels well thought-out and satisfying. Star dish: hibiscus tea The ambience strikes a perfect balance: quiet enough to relax, yet vibrant and lively to keep the mood fresh. Even the menu stands out with its creative labeling of dishes, which instantly sparks curiosity about what will actually arrive on your plate. A thoughtful touch I truly appreciated was in the female washroom—the placement of essential services was so well-considered and commendable. It shows the attention to detail the management has put into customer comfort. Another sweet gesture is their complimentary fruits—simple apples and bananas, but it adds a warm, homely feel to the experience. They also have an in-house store for clothing and crockery, which I didn’t get a chance to explore this time, but it surely adds another interesting dimension to the place. Overall, Tapri is not just a café but an experience—delicious food, creative presentation, thoughtful service, and a lively vibe all rolled into one.

One can go once just to try but why chats are so highly price I didn’t understand even a cup of chai is 280 rupees? I mean why? We ordered bombay sandwich which was quite good but the mushroom panini is full of black pepper which completely over powered the taste of the mushroom and other vegetables. One cup filter coffee was 180 rupees that too with very very less decoction.

Went for brunch today. Had good ambience but food was average taste. Liked dal Palawan and sprouts chaat. However bombay sandwich was very bland and idli was average. Be prepared to wait. They have a coupon system. Will give you coupon in ground floor. Then you can go to 2nd floor and wait till called. They had shops in that floor and you can browse them while waiting. That floor also has small eating place. We were offered to eat there after 20 mins. Was told it was either that or wait again for 15-20 mins for the main restaurant. We ended up eating there as were in hurry. Staff was nice and polite. Food was average. Our hotel had recommended this place. It has variety of food to choose from.

Tapri Central in C-Scheme, Jaipur is a charming, cozy café offering both indoor and outdoor rooftop seating with delightful morning views of Central Park. It’s a serene spot to enjoy a steaming cup of tea—served in traditional kulhad—paired with excellent breakfast and brunch options like khakhra, bun muska, dal pakwan and poha. With its rustic décor, heartfelt service it’s the perfect place for a peaceful, flavorful start to your day.

Tapri is one of the famous cafes in Jaipur, but I am often disappointed when I visit overhyped places like this. The chai is average, and while the food looks fancy, it doesn't taste as good as it appears. I'm not sure what the service is like on normal days, but on busy days, it falls below expectations. Additionally, I question how enjoyable the open terrace can be in Jaipur's weather throughout the year.

Tapri stands out as one of Jaipur's most beloved dining destinations, specializing in vegetarian fast food. While the food quality is satisfactory, prices run on the higher side. The restaurant's popularity often leads to waiting times for seating. For the best experience, visit during the evening and request a table on the terrace, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. The rooftop setting adds a special charm to the dining experience. Also make sure to visit Ladu, situated on 2nd floor for beautiful shopping experience. We tried masala chai, chotu idli platter and Grand panini sandwich. Taste was good but price is on the higher side.

A must visit when in Jaipur for tea and aesthetic lovers! The tadka Maggi and Mousse are a must have! The tea - well the varieties can make you ponder for a while.. but all worth it! Ladu- their shopping cafe is also amazing!
