Taquería Los Prietos

The Asada taco con todo was by far the best meal I had while in La Paz. Deliciously seasoned and very flavorful. I also tried the Vampiro Asada but was less thrilled by it, altho I had to try that crispy cheese! We also drank the horchata which was perfectly sweet and delicious. They have table service and it is quick, so sit down and enjoy yourself! Also such a great atmosphere, the place is always busy.

We were on the hunt for some tacos, and we succeeded with this spot. It's located a few blocks from the malecon. The staff was attentive and hard working. The pastor tacos were a hit, and the agua frescas wash it down nicely. Do yourself a favor and try them out. You won't be disappointed.

As someone else mentioned, you are better off not being at Al Pastor taco places when they open; you want the spit to be cooking awhile. I would agree, but our schedule did not permit that . The staff was very nice when we arrived at 5 and told us they would serve about 5:15. While my wife liked the fact the Al Pastor was well done (maybe on the grill?), I did not. I found it a bit dry. The horchata and pina drinks were very good. For me, the tacos were good but not excellent.

Absolutely delicious. Every meat is so good, that we’re still trying to figure out which is our favorite. And the freshly made tortillas are divine.

Excellent roadside taqueria with delicious tacos! High turnover, so everything is fresh. I ate here a couple of times. The pastor and chorizo tacos are so good.

Wow! The best Al Pastor tacos in La Paz? Certainly the best I have had in Baja, reminded me of the mainland. I had seen this taqueria many times, but never when it was open and I was hungry. That changed last night, and now this will be a regular stop for me. Very generous portions, so start with one taco (I much preferred the Al Pastor over the Asasda) and go from there, unless you are very hungry. The only downside is that there is a limited number of tables on the sidewalk (about 10), and there was a waiting list, so we unexpectedly got takeout. Highly recommended!

These tacos are truly something else! They are large in size, very filling and truly delicious. We were served quickly and the food is completely and totally fresh. The meat is juicy and flavorful. 10 out of 10.

The service is friendly and fast which helps set your expectations for just how freaking incredible the food is. We kept seeing it as we walked by, full of people and smelled amazing so we had to try and now… now we are addicted to put it bluntly. I’m an Al Pastor lover and these hit the spot perfectly. The quesadillas are massive , fairly priced and loaded properly. They have many ways to customize your taco / quesadillas/ tortas. The salsas are delicious and fresh , toppings plentiful and fresh and just overall it’s food heaven.
