Taqueria Vegana

Love this spot! I have been twice and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the capeado tacos, impossible nachos, carne asada tacos, and the taco fly (for first timers so you can try everything). They also have a good variety of drinks. Service is always great and the owner is very kind.

This place is incredible. Food is delectable, service is quick, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is order and sit. The interior is adorably decorated with bright colours and fun seating. They also have a large outdoor patio to enjoy your meal. I have only gotten the burrito ; filled with fresh veggies, delectable sauces, and perfectly cooked seitan. Every meal comes with free water bottle if desired! Absolutely incredible spot, I wish there was one closer to my place because I’d be here all the time :)

we’re not vegan but we love the food - this spot was amazing! tacos were delicious with awesome toppings, loved the tortilla. drinks are good and service is fast and friendly. typical price and totally fair! loved the dog friendly patio.

Vegan tacos and burritos like you've never had before. Indoor and outdoor (seasonal) seating. Lots of drink options and 2 house-made hot sauces to choose from. The lunch special is a great deal. Yeah, there's another option across the street, but these people won't leave your order sitting on the counter for 10min and will remember you and say hi every time you come in. And the tacos are way better.

Grabbed a lunch special and really enjoyed the Seitan Carnitas and Carne Asada tacos. The capeaditos are also fantastic. The staff were friendly and there's a nice seating area just outside.

Never seen so many vegan options for tacos, vegan Birria is really good. Must try for Mexican food lovers who are vegetarian or vegans. Will come back again and again and again.

Super excited turned into super disappointed. We were thrilled to find a vegan taco spot! Our son, not so much haha. So he grabbed something next door at dominos. Our 2 meals plus drinks and extras came to $65 and I was just so thrilled to be there that I also gave a 20% tip. Unfortunately one of the staff members came up to us eating, and told us that our son couldn’t eat his food inside the restaurant. (He’s 13) and it was from dominos in the same complex. We were not even halfway done our meals and it’s 0 degrees outside. And we had to finish our food outside in the cold. It’s not illegal. It’s an internal policy I guess of “no outside food” which wasn’t posted anywhere. (This is just hole in the wall takeout spot with a couple tables of you want to dine in. Not a fancy restaurant. The food was decent, the pico de gallo was pickled onions and tomatoes which I wasn’t a fan of. The special of the enchiladas wasn’t spectacular but it was better than anything else I’ve found. Two big thumbs down for the staff, it was just super unnecessary.

I recently visited Taqueria Vegana to try their tacos and quesabirria. I was excited to finally taste the birria quesadillas because I usually can’t get birria tacos anywhere since they’re normally non-vegetarian. But at this vegan spot, I got lucky and was able to try them on the weekend. As soon as I entered, one thing I noticed was how clean the place was. There was no greasy or unpleasant smell like you sometimes find in small restaurants. It looked neat and well-maintained. The place is more for takeout than dining in. There aren’t many tables, and most of the orders seemed to come through Uber Eats. Only a few people came in to eat. I ordered a carne asada taco, an al pastor taco, and the quesabirrias. The quesabirrias came in a set of three with a side of flavorful broth. I liked everything I ordered, but I didn’t find the quesabirrias to be crispy. They got quite soggy. Since it was my first time trying them, I’m not sure if that’s how they’re supposed to be or if they’re usually crispier. Both tacos were tasty. The flavors were nice, and I almost wanted to try more items on the menu just to see what else they offered. But I was already full. One highlight for me was the vegan cheese in the quesabirrias—it had a stretchy, mozzarella-like texture, which was new to me and really enjoyable. The broth that came with the quesabirrias was thin but full of flavor. I personally wish it had been a little thicker so I could dip the quesadillas better and soak up more of it. They also included two dips—one that seemed like a jalapeño dip and the other like a red pepper dip. Both were supposed to be spicy, but I found them pretty mild. One thing to watch out for: if you’re driving there, be careful. There’s a large pothole right in front of the restaurant, and parking is very tight. The area gets full quickly, and the road conditions aren’t great, which might be one reason people prefer ordering takeout instead of dining in. Overall, I’d rate this place a 3 out of 5. The food was good, the place was clean, and I’d definitely go back to try more. Just be mindful of the parking situation!
