Taqueria Vegana

Love this spot! I have been twice and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the capeado tacos, impossible nachos, carne asada tacos, and the taco fly (for first timers so you can try everything). They also have a good variety of drinks. Service is always great and the owner is very kind.

This place is incredible. Food is delectable, service is quick, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is order and sit. The interior is adorably decorated with bright colours and fun seating. They also have a large outdoor patio to enjoy your meal. I have only gotten the burrito ; filled with fresh veggies, delectable sauces, and perfectly cooked seitan. Every meal comes with free water bottle if desired! Absolutely incredible spot, I wish there was one closer to my place because I’d be here all the time :)

As a first visitor and a non vegan, I'm impressed with their vegan tacos especially the trio tacos. Very flavourful and authentic tasting. We chose the Impossible Chorizo, Carne Asada & Capeado as the trio tacos. They were amazing. Capeadotos was chosen as appetizer to share and it did not disappoint. The oyster mushrooms are super light and delicious. I believe this is mostly a takeout restaurant, therefore seating is very limited and should plan on takeout if you have a large group.

Easily the best vegan tacos I’ve ever had. So many options, incredibly fast, friendly staff, amazing flavours. Would come here every day if I lived in Toronto!

we’re not vegan but we love the food - this spot was amazing! tacos were delicious with awesome toppings, loved the tortilla. drinks are good and service is fast and friendly. typical price and totally fair! loved the dog friendly patio.

Grabbed a lunch special and really enjoyed the Seitan Carnitas and Carne Asada tacos. The capeaditos are also fantastic. The staff were friendly and there's a nice seating area just outside.

Vegan tacos and burritos like you've never had before. Indoor and outdoor (seasonal) seating. Lots of drink options and 2 house-made hot sauces to choose from. The lunch special is a great deal. Yeah, there's another option across the street, but these people won't leave your order sitting on the counter for 10min and will remember you and say hi every time you come in. And the tacos are way better.

This was my second time going and it was fantastic!!! I got the lunch taco deal and the food was amazing! I rushed the photo because I was so hungry looking at the tacos! Everyone is so nice here and I highly recommend it!! Thanks for the delicious food!!!

Taqueria Vegana located near Dupont and Symington is the only place where you can get 100% plant based Mexican food. Serving a variety of plant based tacos, burritos, quesabirrias, as well as sharable items (think impossible nachos, guac and chips, quesadilla...), there is something for everyone even if you are a meat eater. They also have lunch specials you can take advantage of as well. This location is primarily take out only although they do have a few tables indoors and patio tables outside. I stopped by Taqueria Vegana on a weekday for lunch. There were already some customers waiting for their food but otherwise the place was not busy. I ordered a trio of tacos as well as a hibiscus Zamalek drink (from Montreal!). For the tacos I ordered: - Impossible chorizo (house-made impossible meat chorizo, charred onion, and potatoes) - Carne Asada (charred and perfectly seasoned texturized soy protein) - Seitan carnitas (braised seitan garnished with red pickled onion) The tacos came with 2 salsas and some limes as well. Staff were friendly and I ordered my tacos at the counter. I decided to eat on the patio and my food was made at a reasonable time (about 5 min wait). Staff brought out my food for me as well. Tacos wise, I enjoyed all the ones I ordered, however, my favourite was the impossible chorizo tacos. The salsas were spicy and flavourful as well. Overall, great new addition to the Junction Triangle. Definitely would return if I wanted some plant-based Mexican food!

After arriving in town and checking in at our Airbnb, we stumbled across this place because of it being vegan. The menu has plenty of options but isn't overwhelming. The service was INCREDIBLY friendly from being greeted as we walked in to the owner introducing himself to us after bringing the food to our table on their comfy patio. The food (I had a burrito with seitan and my wife had three different tacos) was PHENOMENAL. We are only in town for a few days but already plan on going back. We can't recommend this place enough. I've had plenty of tacos in my day vegan and not vegan, and these (and the burrito) are way up there.
