This was a really nice spot. The staff was friendly and the food was enjoyable. It can get messy so grab some napkins :) All of my tacos were tasty and the drinks were good. We had the strawberry margarita and Paloma. They are located in a food hall so there’s a lot to take in but noise levels are moderate and everyone was chill.

Tacos were good, definitely a good place for a quick lunch when in office. I especially enjoyed the birria tacos. They didn't provide tap water and only sold a fancy once.

$8 happy hour margaritas were delicious. Guac and nachos were great. Service was very good and the Square is a nice spot

Situated in an upscale food court, Taqueria Xochi offers street tacos that are taken up a notch. I had chicken, al pastor, and chorizo. The al pastor was my favorite. Its combination of savory with a hint of sweetness hit the spot. The chorizo was the weakest, because the sausage was too spicy. The service and wait time were good, and I can see myself going back for lunch in the future.

First a foremost: tacos were delicious. Nestled into an upscale international food court where every food stand looked amazing, this taco place stood out, and for good reason. Slow cooked meats. Quality garnish. Fresh tortillas and house made chips and guac. Best carnitas tacos I’ve ever had, and the birria was a close second. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick lunch or dinner - check the hours though. Their two locations have different hours, this one is open for lunch during the week.

The tacos were really unimpressive. Salsa tasted truly awful like from a cheap brand sold in a supermarket. Also couldn’t order beans or rice as side so had to order a pot of guacamole which made the tacos edible. Tortillas of the tacos were cold and not crispy and really didn’t taste nice. Will not be returning to the place.

Been here a few times and the food is always on point. Perfect for people with colorful palates that have picky eater friends. You cannot go and not get at least 3 different tacos to try.

Yelp
I REALLY wish I could give this female Latina owned business a million stars. Every thing we ate at this restaurant blew other Mexican food out of the water. You could taste the home made goodness in every bite. It was early afternoon, warm with a slight breeze, so we decided to eat at their sidewalk bar side of the restaurant. The air conditioning blew ever so slightly over us, ensuring a perfect temperature. The bartender who served us was amazing. He treated my teenagers as if they were adults, being kind and considerate of their requests. It was such an amazing experience that my 17 year old daughter signed up with Yelp to write reviews! (It was so amazing, that we actually visited again the following day!

Yelp
This spot exudes a vibrant Miami/beach ambiance right in the heart of downtown DC! With upbeat music filling the air, I stepped in during happy hour to find an array of affordable options, from drinks to fresh food. Ideal for strolling through DC, though parking is limited to street spaces.

Yelp
amazing food, nice staff, clean, and has a nice vibe in general. they got our order out super fast and just as quick as we got our food, it was gone. i've never inhaled mexican food like this before. it felt like i blacked out and the only thing i could focus on was my delicious meal.

Yelp
Just ate here today. It was fairly empty when I got there, but I still needed to wait for my order to be ready. And when the food came out, it wasn't really that hot. I also thought the flavors were very bland. I don't think I'll come back here, the price just doesn't, match the quality.
