Location ok, Service 🤷‍♂️, rooms for price are ok. sadly the upstairs terrace is completely trashed, nice view nevertheless Edit: change from 3 star to 2 star. Your soapy shower water infiltrates the river Kwai, as the drainage is merely a whole in the floor (see photo), not so good for marine life.

Worst experience! They didn’t even clean the toilet when we got here all tired I had to ask them for cleaner products and they just handed me a basket and had to do it myself. This place is a disaster don’t come!

Been many times before, located right around the corner from the war cemetery and museum. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable, however they are really starting to show a lot of wear and tear😔 The bathrooms smell really really bad after people on the raft start flushing! We bought some plastic cups to cover the drains but didn’t help much. There is only one older lady doing the cleaning, who is very nice and helpful but she is only there until 12 in the day. The windows were so dirty we could hardly see the view, so I got some rags and cleaned them and also the refrigerator. There is a young man that will take your money, 700bt, and will help bring your bags down the steep stairs, but he seems to be very unhappy and a small boy that sleeps on a couch in the “ lobby” that will at least put the Wifi code in your phone for you as it isn’t posted anywhere. Very small bathroom but is efficient. Nice deck in the back to watch the party boats go by in the evening. Great restaurant next door owned by a friendly Dutch guy. We ate there 3 times which is a lot for us. I hope we can come back again to some improvements because the location is so great but unfortunately won’t come back until it seems someone starts to care about the place. A real shame.

AVOID - unless seeking adventure and a nice view of the river Kwai Bridge. Chose it for good feedback and location. Actual experience was of very small bedroom, no topsheet only a blanket! Small dirty toilet with a broken shower. Flaky AC. Disinterested staff - not true, as very interested in his phone - shown to room by a small child. Walked out and found somewhere else.

Charming little place, one of the few Riverside accommodation available in Kanchanaburi. The last Room on the right is probably the room with the best unobstructed view of the river. Room is decent size. The River view absolutely lovely although debris from upriver gets washed down towards the rafted rooms. Location is excellent as the railway station is walking distance, as is the old town. Laundry service is plenty nearby.

Absolutely love this place and am honestly trying to rearrange my travel plans so I can stay there again! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are cute and gorgeous and right on the river. If you get seasick, I wouldn't recommend to stay here, but I only felt light movement a couple of times when I was standing in my room. There are beautiful views from every room and I was able to catch both the sunset and the next day's sunrise from the same place.

This low budget hotel provide everything you need for a short stay in the region. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. There were no catering facilities on site however, next door was a great little cafe which provided a good breakfast and excellent coffee. Views from the rooms varies from room to room, those with a river view are a fraction more expensive but at £20 a night or so they are excellent value. ||It’s a bout a mile walk to the Bridge over the River Kwai and The death Railway Museum. 10 minutes in the opposite direction will see you at the Commonwealth war graves commission cemetery. Take time to remember the fallen. ||The walk to the bridge takes you along a strip of shops and restaurants which provide plenty of interest for your stroll. The bars and restaurants provide a variety of local and European food.||Also in the area is hellfire pass, a section of the death railway built primarily by prisoners of war from New Zealand and Australia but also included some British. The walk along the whole of the railway which is accessible takes about two hours and can be accompanied with an audio description of what you are saying free of charge. If you have the time this is well worth the effort.||The bars come to life in the evening, with everything from quiet chillout bars to lively live music venues.||The lazy or less mobile, there are plenty of taxis and motorcycle taxis to ferry you around.||This location is a great icebreaker for those that have never experienced the jungle before as it is mainly a urban experience just in closer proximity to the jungle. Take your insect repellent and sun protection. ||I would recommend this location to family and friends who are travelling on a budget.

Unbeatable for the price. A lovely, quiet location on the river, very convenient for the war memorials. 5 minutes to a street of bars and restaurants.
