Taras Shevchenko Monument

Really adorable square and monument. Many people met up to have a nice time here.

I love Ukraine and their parks! Taras Shevchenko was Ukraine's poet, writer, artist, public and political figure who stood up for the poor. You should visit the park in the afternoon where you can see how Ukrainians make full use of the park. Chess games in the park, grandparents playing with the grandchildren and gossiping amongst each others, school band performing, family enjoying walks in the park while tourists wish their parks are that hygge 🤗! I recommend that you take the time to sit and enjoy the sight and feel the friendliness of the people.

Wonderful views in the middle of city centre, night view is too good, I must be recommended if you will have time so walk at night around the city centre it so beautiful also in night ,the lighting is so amazing,.... most beautiful site one of in the lviv, statue of taras Shevchenko is so wonderful ,there is demo near this(small in size ) that' also looks pretty.i must recommend this city so wonderful amazing, really, I wanted to travel here from so long time, finally.. I'm done ✅ with lviv also,......

It's gorgeous and beautiful, quite clean and lighted enough for see siting at night. However, there are probably a rat's hole nearby, as it was third time yesterday we saw the rat running out of the monument as far as we came closer. It was around 4am but does it have any value!?

Massive statue. Very confusing graphics. I had to learn more Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko was an Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, as well as folklorist and ethnographer. His literary heritage is regarded to be the foundation of modern Ukrainian literature and, to a large extent, the modern Ukrainian language. This explains the graphics on the massive wave beside him.

Lviv was my best trip ever. Ukrainian people are very kind. God bless you all.

The Most Beautiful and key monument in Lviv with beautiful location and well designed.

I visited just before the start of war, so my review is based on my experience at that time. A monument to Ukraine’s equivalent to Simon Bolivar, Sun Yatsen and Jose Rizal.
