My recent stay was exactly what I had hoped for, and perhaps even more. I came to the hotel with a very specific purpose: to work intensively on an important academic project that required calm, focus and a peaceful environment. This is precisely what I found. The atmosphere throughout the property is serene, discreet and conducive to concentration, which made my stay particularly productive. Beyond the tranquility, I greatly appreciated the efficiency and accessibility of all services. The Bosnian cuisine offered at the hotel was delicious and generous, especially the buffet selections. It was a pleasure to discover local flavors in such a comfortable setting. The spa facilities deserve special mention. The opening hours were perfectly suited to my working schedule, allowing me to integrate relaxation breaks into my day. The swimming pool, sauna and hammam were impeccably maintained and functioned flawlessly. The massage provided by the physiotherapist was excellent: both professional and deeply restorative. Most importantly, however, what truly distinguishes this hotel is its staff. Every single person I encountered was genuinely kind, attentive and welcoming. The reception team was proactive and consistently helpful. I would especially like to thank Damir, Alma and Nedim at the spa, whose professionalism and warmth contributed greatly to the quality of my stay. This is a place where one finds exactly what one is looking for, at least for this type of retreat dedicated to work and reflection. I sincerely hope to return soon.

The Staff (10/10) The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff. They are a 10/10 team friendly with great personalities. ​Cleanliness & Facilities (6/10) The cleanliness was inconsistent. During the busy days, the high traffic seemed to overwhelm the cleaning schedule. We noticed hallways were often left unvacuumed or wet, and the elevator frequently had food spills and wet patches on the floor. However, once the crowds thinned out, the maintenance improved significantly. ​In the room: ​The Good: The room itself was impressively clean, and the furniture felt relatively modern and well-kept. ​The Bad: The towels, while appearing clean, had an unpleasant lingering smell. More importantly, the hairdryer was dirty and felt like it was overdue for a replacement. ​Dining & Breakfast (7/10) The food experience was a bit of a mixed bag: ​Breakfast: The variety was quite limited and lacked local character. It would be a wonderful addition to see freshly baked local specialties like bureks on the menu. ​Drinks: The coffee and tea service needs a major upgrade. The coffee machine produced poor-tasting coffee, and as a tea lover, I wasn't able to enjoy a single cup of "real" tea during my stay. It currently feels very basic and lacks a "fancy" resort touch. ​Dinner: The selection was limited, but considering the secluded location and the lack of nearby dining facilities, it remains a convenient and necessary option.

WE JUST COME FOR WELLNESS ||In my birthday me and my husband decided to enjoy the wellness there. We come with paying 25KM per person. We was so excited, the reception man ask us to see first but we say no need because this hotel have good feedback. And Yes !!! Don't always belive on GOOD COMMENTS check with our on eyes is the good decision. We enter.. the wellness smelly, Sauna not working, 2 of them work but only 21° swimming pool dirty, and small ( don't believe in picture ) inside the steam sauna smelly nothing is make us happy. We called the staff for help he come and say " I am sorry our wellness staff not working today " Okey.. if the wellness staff not working, means is nobody clean that area ? the wellness is important part of the hotel facilities. Every hotel have general cleaning staff who have responsibilities to cleaning. I can say that, because I am wellness person, I am working in hotel as wellness manager for more than 25 year and I can say wellness on this hotel are 1/10. They are work with good brands as loccitane,but the wellness conditions is not for this big brand. End of story we ask our money back and i admitted i am choosing a wrong place to relax in my birthday.

The hotel is well located, with plenty of outdoor activities and a nice, warm pool. The food has improved compared to before, but it’s still too expensive — the same goes for drinks. Some of the food is not homemade, and a lot of it is frozen. The half-board option should be cheaper. The buffet dinner offer of 45 KM per adult is unreasonable, especially considering the very basic dishes and simple preparation. Cleanliness needs serious improvement. The chairs in the restaurant are extremely dirty, with visible food stains everywhere. The floors and stairs are also not properly cleaned. The minibar wasn’t cold at all — it was actually warm. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs much better maintenance, cleanliness, and more reasonable prices.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, which made my stay extremely comfortable. The staff were always friendly, polite, and helpful, adding a warm touch to the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

An absolutely beautiful hotel and villas, surrounded by breathtaking nature. Tarčin Forest & Spa Hotel is a truly peaceful retreat – everything from the architecture to the surroundings is stunning. The fresh mountain air, lush forest views, and serene atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and recharge. The spa and facilities are excellent, and the overall experience feels luxurious yet perfectly connected to nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy true tranquility

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Upon our arrival, we experienced a small issue with the bathroom door, but the staff immediately stepped in: they came to check, and shortly after, they changed our room, even upgrading us to a beautiful suite. A gesture of great professionalism and care for their guests. The property is well-maintained, spotless, and offers a breathtaking view. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, as are the pillows—rest is absolutely guaranteed. The hotel is located about 30 minutes by car from Sarajevo, nestled in a charming forest where time seems to stand still and you enter a state of complete relaxation. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of options to suit every taste. We also had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant with à la carte service: the dishes were outstanding and beautifully presented. We couldn’t resist trying the spa, which we highly recommend, especially in the morning. The pool, with its large windows overlooking the forest, offers an experience of pure tranquility and well-being. A perfect stay in every respect. We will definitely be back. Wonderfull place out of the city for family getaway. Plenty of family activities for kids, outdoors forest playground and chill zone. We ll come back again. Ahmed, manager on duty was a great host!
