I bought creamland half gallon milk from this store. While in that area buying it I smelt something foul in those isles. I still can't put my finger on that smell but it was concerning. I later drank some of that milk which doesn't expire until the 17th but when I drank it, it tasted weird. I spit out as much as I could but it still made me sick. I tried calling the store to let them be aware of the potentially tainted milk several times but they never answer their phone. They just hang up on me. As a warning please be careful buying groceries from this location. There's an area near the produce section that smells foul and it's very alarming especially since they've rearranged some of their groceries. Be careful shopping here!!

I consistently utilize curbside pick up and remain highly satisfied. There is no wait time and I always receive a notification when my items are ready for pickup. This is undoubtedly my preferred method when requiring curbside service, as they consistently have my items available.

Google
I always use the drive up option at this target. however their parking lot is horrible. everyone waiting in their car for an order pick up during the summer is almost always uncomfortable because of the heat. i never minded this, however today some illegal parking lot driving (happens regularly) cut me off and prolonged my wait for drive up. since all the spots were taken. the person who cut me off was not using target drive up, they were waiting for the target assets employee they knew, to come visit with them in the parking lot. but instead of using FREE spaces everywhere, they decided to use the drive up spots during BUSY 5-6pm times. then a FULLY UNIFORMED target assets employee came to socialize and inconvenienced me, the drive up staff trying to get orders done, and anyone elae waiting during peak times. embarrassing. yall can't staff a proper cashier, so i utilize your drive up, just for your own staff to allow illegal and hazardous driving for a little social time. very unprofessional and embarrassing. car was a red kia, newer, and the gentleman was in y'all's bright yellow/black "target assets" uniform. YIKES, i just know he was still on the clock for his little social hour too.

Google
Yall have lost your minds locking up the deodorant. Im not shopping where I'm made to feel like a criminal. What a waste of time and resources, and straight up, people like me just won't come to stores like that. Have yall factored that into your loss prevention numbers? Maybe Target is just for lower classes...

Google
I have mixed feelings about this Target location. It is usually not busy, which is great. However they seem to not usually have what I'm looking for. The Staff is fine. The parking lot is open and spacious. I recommend it if you're in the area.

Google
Worst target i ever been too. Everything is looked behind glass, armed guards and bad service. Went to checkout line , only one lit and no one was there. Another worker stopped by just to tell me he couldnt help me because he was watching self check out. He also implied to use self checkout.

Google
Extremely hostile store. They lock up low value items for no reason. You're telling me I have to beg someone to get toothpaste and a toothbrush? Ludicrous and laughable. I have more important things to spend my time on. And the selection of things is bizarrely low. Almost no luggage and zero proper accessories like travel straps. Better off ordering from Amazon.

After I got curbside pick.my daughter wanted to come in and buy stuff. The guy at self checkout was rude

Yelp
Found 2 humidifiers but when we got home only 1 worked. Replaced it with the smaller one as they didn't have the replacement.

Lavinia G.

Yelp
Waited 20mins for no one to show to so I could grab toothpaste. I waved my hand under the sensor and even watched several employees walk past me. It wasn't even busy since it was 8am.

Yelp
Horrible service, constantly harassed by the useless ips security and loss prevention and the hidden unknown securities with civilians clothes which just follow people who "fit the description" then let's start with customer service who say one thing and then give u store credit when the return was made and transfered to a gift card, on top of that the idiot associates just say yes to make a sell without knowing what they are selling or if the item will work on my watch which was a samsung watch charger, turns out they don't sell samsung watches chargers and after making a few charger purchases and getting stuck with a useless gift card just don't bother coming to this useless store/ company besides awful prices, horrendous customer service and awful price gouging I say go elsewhere, hell buy a costco membership or even walmart, best buy, office depot, ebay, amazon not the best choice but way better than this horrendous place of establishment, buyers beware just know what ur getting into before u get stuck with a useless gift card, or constantly harrased because that's how target screws people over, they always find a way, and don't bother calling customer service 1800 number because all u will get is a thoughts and prayers thrown ur way

Yelp
Went this morning to get a few items. Target used to be my "go to" store but now everyone is treated like a criminal. The last item I needed was deodorant which of course is locked up. I asked an employee who was standing right there to get the deodorant for me and she looked at me and said go push the button. I said these buttone all have out of order signs on them and she told me to keep walking until I found one that worked. Seriously, she was rude and I guess I was bothering her. Once the customer service is gone, it's over for me. The Walmart on Wyoming has the same items and more and the store is nice. My fault for forgetting just how far Target has fallen.

Yelp
Locked up products, security staring you down at the entrance and constantly being followed by undercovers....this store has taken a nosedive since my initial post.

Sue S.

Yelp
I regularly pick up groceries and other items at Target, and I want to commend the nice people at Lomas Target for helping me with an order that had a missing item. First, the clerk was more than helpful, then he called the manager, who walked me through the refund process on my phone app. Both were kind and patient, and after once-a-week orders, this is the very first missing item that I have had. Thanks to both young men who were helpful to an older customer! I appreciate patience and kindness, and they showed both.

Yelp
This is my local store and I've been here several times since March. The carts are sanitized and there is sanitizer at all the registers when you check out. They are also keeping people safe by limiting the amount of people who go into the store at one time. I feel safe at this store and recommend it to all who want to do in person shopping in the time of Covid.

Yelp
Not as great of selection in natural products at this Target as others. But if in the area and need something I'll stop in. Their dollar spot is better then the one on Louisiana hands down and they have a larger section!! I've always had friendly cashiers and staff check in to make sure I'm finding what I need. Overall a good Target.

Yelp
Target has a great selection of merchandise, most of which is under lock and key. We went there on a Saturday morning when the store was not in the least bit crowded, found what we wanted, requested that someone meet us to unlock the cabinet......and waited and waited. Not a single employee in sight, and after several minutes we gave up and paid for the one item that wasn't under lock and key. The manager happened to be standing there along with several other employees, and offered to call someone to meet us (isn't that what the call button is for?) We said no and left, which means I'll have to order what I want from their site (and pay shipping and handling since their employees are either too lazy to answer a call button, too busy because the store is understaffed or too unmotivated to do their jobs). Target, I understand why you lock up an $11 bottle of body wash, but can't you at least provide better customer service? Or is the intent to provide such poor customer service that people give up coming to your stores and just order online?

Yelp
I always love going to Target instead of Walmart mainly because it's nicer, and I don't feel like a sardine trying to make my way through the store. Albuquerque just passed a new green ordinance that is to reduce use of plastic bags. Most places are no longer carrying them and if they are they are charging 10 cents per bag. As I approached the register with all my groceries I started to sweat it a little bit cuz I forgot to bring some bags with me. Luckily the woman at the register was so sweet and understood. Target came to the rescue by still providing slightly more durable bags free of charge! Another reason why I love shopping here! Target has always left a great impression to me and today they went above and beyond! This Target is about the same size as the others. The shelves were neatly stocked and the floors were clean. The staff definitely stays on top of it unlike their competitors I find the place to look much better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's always a positive atmosphere and I will definitely continue to chose them over Walmart any day!

Yelp
Everything is locked up, hit the service button, waited 10 minutes and no one showed up. Counted 11 online order shoppers. Get to checkout in the front, not one register open ,only self checkout with a line of approximately 20 people. Close this location!

Yelp
This is my local target and I just recently did a drive up order for the first time and I felt really terrible for the employees. As we know it's starting to get colder so keep that in mind. On the app they ask you for your car color, model, and car type which would be very helpful in identifying who's order is who's except for it being the holidays and basically having 50 spots for people to park and only having the car color, model and type for the poor employees to go out and have to ask multiple different cars before being able to get one order out. I would find it much more simple if they had parking for drive up with a slot number so they knew exactly where to take it. Thanks to the target employees for working so hard during a pandemic, winter, and the holidays!

Yelp
The older I get, the more I appreciate this place some call Targe'. I love that clothing and housewares are unique. The lines aren't normally very long. They have a GREAT makeup section rivaling any CVS or Walgreens. Recently, I even wandered into the grocery section and found some good deals. I've purchased some decent quality furniture here recently. Staff is always helpful. When something is not available in the store, most of the time they can order it for you and have it delivered to the store or even your house in some cases. The store is always clean and bright. That's important to me if I'm going to wander the isles in search of things I didn't even know I needed.

Yelp
Let's go to Walmart instead. At least they may care that they allowed my ID to be stolen in their possession. This used to be my store of choice but apparently Walmart may have higher standards. Here's my story in case you're interested: I went to use the convenient online in store pick up. I gave them my ID (since they require it) to pick up my purchase. They set it down on the counter as they went to get my order. Then as I waited, a man went to pick up his backpack next to my ID that Target made him check in (because apparently they thought he may steal.) Well the good news is that he may have not stolen from Target but he stole my ID. Talk about irony. They offered to give me a $45 gift card to Target but this does not make up for my time and grief. I HAD TO WAIT 4 HOURS FOR THE POLICE TO SHOW UP JUST TO FILE A POLICE REPORT. The employees (manager included) apologized but offered no solutions to the MAJOR inconvenience they have caused me. Will this man hunt me down? Try to open lines of credit in my name? Sell my identity? I don't know. Target wouldn't even show me the man who stole my identity for safety purposes. Not only did this store not offer any solutions (only than making me contact the police and waiting hours), they sincerely did not care. I only received a $50 American Express gift card because I asked. This does not make up for the 8 year license I had, nor the fee I have to pay to have to go to an express MVD on the weekend. I am deeply disappointed in you Target. I thought you had higher standards.

Yelp
It's a Target. Seriously, you know what you're getting here - generally a lot of crap made in China and sold for cheap. A little piece of my soul dies every time I shop here. But still, it's convenient, has most anything you need, and is a known quantity, so I end up here more than I like (about 4 times a year). Staff seems fine. Starbucks in the store, which I refuse to go to (too many awesome local coffee shops that need our support).

Yelp
Seen one, seen them all. Came to New Mexico, and I came to realize the the big chain stores are pretty much the same wherever you go. That being said, the cashier was very nice and was personable. Target is reliable for being consistent. Yelp 365 challenge: 43/365

Andrew O.

Yelp
Do not shop at this store. The employees and manager on 2/21 at 1900 refused to price match Amazon which Target has always done. The employee said her manager told her to only price match target.com which is BS. So I had her call her manager and he said they only price match non prime Amazon which absolutely makes no sense. Needless to say the store and employees have no idea what there talking about. Which is fine I'll shop at Uptown Walmart or Amazon.

Yelp
Worst target I have ever been to. It looks like they clean the isles maybe once a month.. MAYBE. There is more expired candy than fresh.. Keep an eye on fruit beverages too. I've worked many retail jobs its honestly isn't that hard to check. The staff doesn't seem to have much energy or any care at all as to what goes on. I would strongly recommend the target near the mall or any other store really. I mean they can't rotate food, they don't appear to care about their jobs and they don't clean the store.. what exactly does the store do right?

Elodie K.

Yelp
I found this target woefully disappointing. There is hardly anything in stock and doesn't have as complete of inventory as other stores within a few mile radius. Even with covid going on, the target down the street is way better stocked.

Yelp
I came here this afternoon with my hubby and my in-laws. We found some great deals and the store was very easily laid out. Once we got to the register the cashier asked me if I had the cartwheel app. I told her no, and she proceeded to help me download the app and register for a 20% discount on men's apparel. She saved me $13! Great service.

Yelp
Someone suggested that Target is more expensive than Wal-mart and that may possibly be true. That may explain why you don't have the riffraff coming in here that you find at the Wal-Mart on San Mateo (both inside and outside). So, I guess I'm paying a bit more to this apparently less evil big box to have some peace of mind while I shop, fair enough. Also, those higher prices also mean that you get shorter checkout lines, more checkout clerks and a generally more pleasant experience over Wal-mart with each visit. I'm not going to go so far as to say I like this place, nor encourage others to shop here (especially over a local store), but at least I don't regret my visits here.

Yelp
I wish this weren't the most convenient Target close to me, so I end up going more than I should... here is the worst: 1. This Target has the rudest, coldest employees that seem to want to make personal comments about your life, like that my "watch was too expensive," and that I should buy cheaper nail polish because "they're all the same." Today the male employee at the customer service department was incredibly bored yet cryptic of my bra return. He even said something along the lines of "is that so?" about me needing to return it because of its size. Disgusting. The employees who "work" in the electronics department never seem to be around, and when they are, they're usually busy or give me incredibly short unhelpful answers. (At the Montgomery Target, I had an electronics guy once spend 5+ minutes with me trying to see if they had a back stock of an item I wanted.) 2. The food department of this Target always seems to have burned pizza, popcorn, ect. Today it smelled like rotten burned pasta. So nasty I couldn't stay and shop in the beauty department (right next to the food). 3. This Target is also frequented by screaming babies with parents who feel no need to leave the store to comfort their children. AVOID this Target at all costs...

Yelp
I like this Target. I'm there two to three times a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Nice store. Clean and definately well taken care of. Nice grocery carts make the shopping experience far more enjoyable. Prices seem to be less than Wal-Mart. Nice cashiers. I wish the credit card terms were clearer and they gave a better i dea of approval criteria.

Yelp
Oh Big box store how I loathe...oops I mean love the! I'm sure most of you all share my sentiments here. Target is always clean fresh and well lit. The aroma's of the Starbucks coffee and Pizza Hut hit your gut once you walk through the doors. Genius marketing strategies here. The prices are competitive to most other shops and stores. The clothing options are also fashion forward and of good quality. Season items and Electronics also offer great deals and finds.

Yelp
Great Target. Clean and the staff is really nice. I can spend hours in this Target. As long as the Walmart locals stay at Walmart, I'm a happy shopper at Target. :)

Suzie C.

Yelp
I always have a great time shopping at this target. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I think I was asked four times if I needed assistance in the 15 minutes I was there today. It's refreshing to receive great customer service!

John louie L.

Yelp
Not much to say abiut the store because target is target. I would usually just give an average 3 to 4 star but the staff at this one are pretty awesome so far.

Yelp
I bought a swimming pool site to store. I traveled out of town to get the item. Then I received an email my order was cancelled. I was already almost to the store. They after all had the product but we're saving it for a non paying customer that put a phone hold. Amanda at guest services said that phone holds take priority over online store pick up paid orders. I have never been so offended or treated badly at target until now. Amanda next time advised to call instead of paying for pick up. I am a loyal customer and paid with my red card. Completely disappointed

Lee J.

Yelp
Cashiers, guest service attendants and front end supervisors are inattentive, unfriendly and mostly rude. This Target is the most convenient for myself, I'm grateful they have self checks out I always feel like a bother going through a lane. But when a problem pops up at self check it's always difficult to find help promptly. I have however received impressive service with team members in electronics who always seem happy to help!

Barbara L.

Yelp
Target's prices have gone up a lot recently. I went there during tax-free weekend planning to buy a lot of school supplies and clothes. I was very disappointed to see that basically had no clothes on sale (looked in Men's Department for my son). Even in school supplies, I got a lot less than half of what I was planning since most things weren't really cheap. Did buy the spirals for $.17 each. Ended up going to Wal-Mart. They had a lot of clothes on sale and most of their school supplies were less. For example, comparable men's shorts were $25 at Target and $7 to $9 at Wal-Mart.
