Target

Shout out to Jenny at Wood Dale, IL Target. On Sunday, September 21, Jenny was assigned to the fitting rooms. I, as a 40 something woman, who for the last 5.5 years, have worked remotely and have become very accustomed to the causal legging and T-shirt wardrobe I wear daily. All of a sudden, my job has required all employees to participate on an in-person sales consultation with potential customers. I found a top and pants that I felt suitable to wear for this one time event but then I was in sure panic mode… am I even sure this outfit is suitable? And what shoes even go with this outfit? All thanks to Jenny she reassured me everything was going to be fine and took the time to help me find appropriate shoes by walking me over to the shoe department and giving me options that would work with the outfit. She even helped me, a mom of two, figure out an appropriate shape wear that made sure I was confident enough to wear my chosen outfit in public at my suggestion. Not only was she maintaining the fitting rooms and being a girl’s girl, she was back-up to electronics. She was called to assist a guest there, but made sure I was all set before setting off to rescue another guest. Please share my sincere gratitude to Jenny who truly embraced what it means to go above and beyond for guests and to be an absolute rock star. We absolutely need more Jennys in the world.

I absolutely love this Target location! I probably shop here twice a month and there is a young lady, I think her name is Jenny. She is always helpful in assisting me find what I am looking for (just had newborn and was looking for the right formula). She is positive, energetic, and just knowledgeable about everything in the Target! Keep up the awesome work Jenny!

Racist workers. I was in the hair care/Makeup section getting items. I didn’t grab a cart because I originally came there to get 1 thing. But we know how target runs always go. You always end up leaving with more stuff than you intended. So near that section there were Handheld buggy’s or carts, directly next to the makeup area. IT WAS NOT NEAR THE DOOR. This is very important so whoever is reading this can understand. Anyway, I was putting my haircare products in there. But I wasn’t done shopping. I still had to get what I originally came there for. And suddenly the staff member there straight up accused me of stealing. I gave her no reason to think I was stealing. BESIDES BEING BLACK APPARENTLY! So I let her know that I was just putting my items in a handheld buggy and I’m not done shopping yet. And that I’m full aware that I need to pay for my items. Also, I reported to her manager for such a wild accusation. Like I make 5 times this girls income yearly. I have no reason to steal.

I was purchasing a trash bin for a sick family member. I was in a hurry so it was great that the online order was quick and easy. In store pick up was fast. However, I left the store without examining the purchase and it had a 1" dent.Too rushed to go back and return the damaged trash bin as we needed the item.

This review is definitely long overdue. I actually went to this Target location a few days ago, which was not really my plan. I did some things in the area, and I found the store on my way, so I decided to stop by to buy something and to check the store as well. There is ample parking. The store is big and spacious. I was even surprised to see that the whole place was not too busy. The Target near my place is always busy, which is why I seldom visit it, but this store was the opposite. I definitely liked that it was not too busy because I felt like I was able to do everything freely, it was more comfortable for me, and most importantly, I liked that the checkout was so fast. The store is clean and bright. The selection is fully stocked, and everything is well organized. I just bought a few foods that I could eat on the way, including snacks and some fruits. Speaking of fruits, they have a nice selection of fresh produce. There are also a lot of good options for snacks and fruit. I also checked their department section, which is where I found good quality and designs of clothes for kids and adults. Their selection of clothes here was really wonderful. I also checked their clearance and I could not be more amazed after seeing a lot of great things in it at a very reasonable price. I definitely had a good time in this location of Target. I found a lot of good things inside. Customer service is good too.

Typical yet unremarkable Target. It has not been upgraded to the new format yet. Has all the regular departments, yet some are slightly reversed in areas. The cleaning supplies are by the checkouts instead of back by the paper towel products. Clean, organized and self checkout was very fast.

I’m only writing this review because I was inspecting a toy to see if it was worth my money, and one of the ladies with glasses that work in stationary walked past me and told me to put it back when I was done with it. Why did she feel the need to tell a 25 year old man to put something back? She wasn’t rude, but it was strange because I had it in my hands, and I was actively inspecting it. Even if I did leave the toy out, so what? There was plenty of stuff out of place in the store that she should have been worried about.

This is a pretty good spot. A good target. They have a great selection. There is a Starbucks. This place isn't too busy. The location is clean and the service is good as well. There is a few different departments. You can get all your shopping done here.
