TAS D VIAJE Suites - Hostel Boutique

There was value for the money we spent for this hostel. We booked a suite with a private bathroom. The room was good. Bathroom was fine. The pool and pool area were great. Hostel was clean. Staff was good. Good/chill vibe. We would recommend to others.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I wanted to stay on the peninsula, this is a great place to walk most places. It has beaches on either side just 2 minute walk. I stayed in a private, the ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL, SUPER NEW RENOVATED. the entire hostel was very nice, THE POOL WAS BEAUTIFUL. the staff is really nice and the hostel is VERY CLEAN!!!!

Wow, where do I even start?!? I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in PDE. I stayed here for a week during peak season, and could not have had a better experience. I was in the shared all girls room and everyone was super respectful. A/C in the room, comfy beds, and sufficient space. All the guests got along and some of us even ended up hanging out together! All of the staff is incredible and always happy to help. Shout out to Mauricio for making a damn good caipiroska and being up for talking to me in English! Best location you can ask for. In walking distance from the port, dedos, Playa Brava - all the main attractions in PDE. Coming from the US, prices are totally reasonable. My final bill was less than half of what I expected. Overall, I sooo highly recommend this hostel. Would give 6 stars if I could. Perfect location, bang for your buck, and such a peaceful, “tranquil” setting 😉 Thank you for making this a great week in the heart of Punta del Este!

I stayed for five nights in the off season so it was pretty quiet, facilities were always clean, everyone was nice and all of the staff I talked to spoke English and were able to help me with whatever I needed. To get in you have to have an access card to scan which helps feeling secure though I never felt unsafe in the area. It’s a short walk to Dedos Los Manos and a lot of great places to eat close by, loved staying here!

Did a last minute booking on the website for a women’s dorm , but it was converted into a shared dorm. I was given an option to get a refund but I decided to stay as I didn’t want to search for a place on Friday . The place is neat and clean .The only problem was the bathroom/ toilet which has a open window and should be repaired to either have a screen or something to close it . The hostel is located in a good area . There is no kitchen nor breakfast but you can find restaurants close by.

Very cool alternative hostel with lots of cool things like bike, longboard or surfboard rental. We stayed there off-season so can’t really tell how it is mid-season. It’s very close to the beach and bus station so perfect for travelers. Automatic check in can be improved a lot, this was the only thing that didn’t work out that well.

The hostel is pretty clean and was almost empty because I went in low season. This resulted in me having an entire dorm room for my own. I was very happy about that, 'cause I had the feeling that the place gets very small when it's full. Same for the kitchen. |I didn't really get the shower system where you first have to open your shower to take your towel. There is no space inside to put clothes or towels in a dry spot. Staff was fine. Overall good stay

The hostel is located in a very nice place in the city, at walking distance to the beach and one of the main streets in punta del este. The staff was friendly. The common area of the hostel is great and they have a bar in the back and a pizza place in the front. We ate there one night and the pizza was very good at a reasonable price. We stayed in the suite (private room with bathroom). The room was ok (good bed, tv and air conditioner) but the bathroom was horrible (too small, little ventilation and the shower was almost impossible to take a bath). Besides the bathroom, the towel they handed to us had some very questionable stains and made us very uncomfortable. We asked the staff to change (they did change) and again we got new ones with more stains. I'm attaching photos so you can understand. And, if the hostel see this, please REPLACE all the towels with stains like that because is simply disgusting.
