Great location, staff were very helpful and room was amazing for the price! We got the private room. It was clean and shower was great. Also rented bikes which were handy too.

Highly recommend Tas D Viaje! We stayed here after a bad experience in another hostel in Punta del Este, and it was such a relief to stay somewhere so clean and safe. It had everything we needed including a private terrace. We were also able to check in to the room very early, which was much appreciated!
The only thing to be aware of is that in low season you have to pay for the room in advance via an online system which charges 6% additional for using Visa or Mastercard. However, this wouldn't stop us staying again!

There was value for the money we spent for this hostel. We booked a suite with a private bathroom. The room was good. Bathroom was fine. The pool and pool area were great. Hostel was clean. Staff was good. Good/chill vibe. We would recommend to others.

I really enjoyed staying here. I had a place to leave and rinse off my surfboard at the exterior shower, cook, enjoy a comfortable suite all in the middle of town and close to the beaches.

I stayed for five nights in the off season so it was pretty quiet, facilities were always clean, everyone was nice and all of the staff I talked to spoke English and were able to help me with whatever I needed. To get in you have to have an access card to scan which helps feeling secure though I never felt unsafe in the area. It’s a short walk to Dedos Los Manos and a lot of great places to eat close by, loved staying here!
