I felt very comfortable here. The restaurant is staffed by two people: a chef and the owner, who also acts as the waiter. The service is warm and friendly. They shared details about all the dishes, informed me about where they source their ingredients, and even recommended the best places to buy certain products on the island. What I appreciated most is that they treated me as an equal; they didn’t make me feel less important simply because they were the owners. Overall, it was a very comforting experience.
There is a small restaurant located in the old part of La Laguna. It features a couple of tables both outside and inside. The interior is decorated in a traditional Spanish style, complete with wooden chairs and tables.
The restaurant offers a concise menu, with all ingredients sourced locally from the island. Everything is organic and of high quality. My favorite dish is the lasagna, which is incredibly delicious. For dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu and the brownie with vanilla ice cream.
Unlike many other restaurants, where you might detect an odd spice or flavor, here you can truly appreciate each ingredient. The dishes are prepared as if they were made at home, with clarity in taste and beautiful presentation.
