"Okay, you’ve just walked in. First impressions? Tashas exudes a calm, coastal luxe vibe that draws café-seekers in droves. The white furniture and umbrellas on the alfresco deck area capture your attention first, while the timber tables, cane chairs, and statement ceiling inside further up the appeal. The South African owner is renowned in the region, with cafes in Dubai , too. Who else was there? This ever-bustling cafe is as popular with business people who work in the Al Bateen district as it is with visiting tourists and Emiratis. The raison d’être : the coffee. How was it? The coffee menu includes espressos, ristrettos, cappuccinos, Greek coffees, and flavored lattes, including a sweet Spanish latte made with condensed milk. Was there food, too, and if so, worth getting? An extensive food menu covers breakfast, sandwiches, rich, meaty entrees like lemon chicken and steak tagliata, pastas, quesadillas, and salads. Amazing and delicious breakfast! I had the Spanish eggs, which were full of flavor. Jimmy was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Love that it’s a South African brand.

I had a wonderful experience at Tashas Al Bateen. The gluten free pasta was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the salads were fresh, colorful, and delicious. 😋 Their drinks were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The overall quality of the food and presentation was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

My friend invited me to try this restaurant for the 1st time and we went there for breakfast. The place is nice, bright and I thanks for the free 2 hour parking. The food was amazing, delicious and well presented. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staffs. The only downside is that the prices are on the higher side. Overall, a great experience if you don’t mind spending a bit more. ☺️

We visited Tashas Al Bateen for our final dinner in Abu Dhabi, and it was a beautiful way to end our stay. The setting was elegant and inviting, and the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. They even brought our little one crayons and colouring paper, which was a thoughtful touch and kept him happily entertained. The food was truly outstanding—each dish offered a phenomenal combination of flavours and was beautifully cooked. While the portions could have been more generous given the price point, the quality and presentation were exceptional. To top it all off, the team surprised our toddler with a complimentary gingerbread man, which absolutely made his evening. A lovely dining experience with both heart and flavour.

A beautiful evening that felt like a cozy winter dinner, surrounded by the perfect ambiance and, as always, the most incredible food. Special thanks to our favorite waiter, Jimmy, who never fails to make the experience feel extra warm and memorable. If I could give him a hug, I would. This is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

I recently visited Tasha's Al Bateen for the first time, and it was an incredible experience. The views were absolutely stunning, creating a perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, making it a great spot to unwind. As for the food, it was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Could not love this place more! Have been here 3 times and loved it every time. The food and drinks are always delicious including an abundance of vegetarian options. The service is friendly, prompt and polite. The design and ambiance is relaxing even in the heat. Will probably come back before I leave Abu Dhabi.
