"Okay, you’ve just walked in. First impressions? Tashas exudes a calm, coastal luxe vibe that draws café-seekers in droves. The white furniture and umbrellas on the alfresco deck area capture your attention first, while the timber tables, cane chairs, and statement ceiling inside further up the appeal. The South African owner is renowned in the region, with cafes in Dubai , too. Who else was there? This ever-bustling cafe is as popular with business people who work in the Al Bateen district as it is with visiting tourists and Emiratis. The raison d’être : the coffee. How was it? The coffee menu includes espressos, ristrettos, cappuccinos, Greek coffees, and flavored lattes, including a sweet Spanish latte made with condensed milk. Was there food, too, and if so, worth getting? An extensive food menu covers breakfast, sandwiches, rich, meaty entrees like lemon chicken and steak tagliata, pastas, quesadillas, and salads. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially Mara and Duran, who provided excellent service and made our experience even more enjoyable. They were attentive, courteous, and genuinely pleasant throughout our visit. The food was superb, well prepared and flavorful. Overall, the place offers a great atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

We were seated outdoors and enjoyed the nice, lovely ambience, but the service was noticeably slow. I ordered a single origin cold brew, yet it still hadn’t arrived even after all our food was served. I eventually had to remind the staff before the drink was brought over. That said, the food was tasty and the cold brew, once it finally came, was genuinely good. A sweet touch was that the kids were given complimentary gingerbread man cookies. With quicker service, the overall experience could have been much better, but there were still some nice positives to the visit.

These two plates were our favorites. Mara served us and recommended a lot of good options I thank her for that we enjoyed the food a lot, but we added two quesadillas chicken and beef and we didn’t like the chicken but the beef was better. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would definitely come back again to try new things because they didn’t have any sandwiches or burgers there.

I loved the food! We ordered the eggs royale which was delicious and the creamy avocado on toast. Out of all the staff, Anna was the best; she was so kind, friendly and helful! Thanks Anna for making our experience at the restaurant lovely.

Forget about the food, the food is good, but the place and the view and the outside seating area! Omg I’m completely in love with the feeling, the weather is amazing ofcourse but check the photos you will know what I’m talking about. 👌🏻

I had a wonderful experience at Tashas Al Bateen. The gluten free pasta was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the salads were fresh, colorful, and delicious. 😋 Their drinks were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The overall quality of the food and presentation was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

My friend invited me to try this restaurant for the 1st time and we went there for breakfast. The place is nice, bright and I thanks for the free 2 hour parking. The food was amazing, delicious and well presented. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staffs. The only downside is that the prices are on the higher side. Overall, a great experience if you don’t mind spending a bit more. ☺️

Great place for a chilled dinner. Tashas is a brand from SA and renowned for high quality fresh produce. Abu Dhabi' outlet is no different. We ate paella, halloumi and breads. Fresh taste. Served quickly in a very nice atmosphere with attentive and clearly very hard working staff.
