Tasman Holiday Parks - Christchurch

We had a fantastic stay at Tasman Holiday Parks! We opted for the Premium Sealed Evergreen Powered Site, which was perfect for our needs, it worked really well. We also stayed in a one-bedroom motel room for a night, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A special thanks to Zara and Stacey, who were incredibly accommodating, as well as Gabby and Sarah for being so helpful and friendly. The entire team made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a relaxed and convenient stay! We’ll definitely be back.

Family of 5 in a lodge room (a double bunk, single bunk and an ensuite). Enough space for us to rest each night and get ready for the day exploring. Beds were comfortable. Extra shared toilets a short walk away and same with kitchens. Towels, linen, plates and cutlery supplied in the room. Playground, jumping mat, TV room and a medium size indoor pool are provided for free use. Spa and game room cost extra. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous time and would recommend.

Great site. Facilities were really good. Handy forbthe city and a great place to eat just over the road. Would definitely go there again. The only thing I wasn't happy with was seeing a Tasman staff member walking his small dog, and watching the dog curl one out by a holiday cabin, and then walk away without picking up after his dog.

Quite expensive to park an RV for a night. Kids loved the playground. Takes about 35-40min with a bus to the city center. The opportunity to exchange food and other items with other travelers is great.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Location is good to explore the city. Bus stop close by. Clean amenities and new pool (smaller than what the pictures might suggest, people don't follow the rules). If you are after a quiet and peaceful night this is not the place to go. People arrive at night, too. They clean their motorhomes and pack up at 1am, sleeping in the next morning. They hammer pegs at 10.30pm. There is security but we only saw them closing TV and games room at 9pm, doing nothing about the noise at night. Many people fly out from Christchurch but please be considerate of others. How hard can it be?! Management could spread people more, too. Seems like they do clusters putting people into the same place. I talked to reception this morning. We are not coming back.

The room had the smell of cow dung the moment I stepped foot in the room. I tried ventilating the room by opening doors and windows. It was pungent and wouldn't go away throughout our stay. Parking is abundant, location is in a quiet neighbourhood, and quite close to city centre. Showers were awesome, strong water pressure. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness needs to be improved, sticky surfaces everywhere.

What an epic stay, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Facilities for the kids was great, this was a last minute find but so glad we did. We will absolutely be back.

A shout out to the staff here who went above and beyond to find a spot for our large motorhome when the site we'd be allocated wasn't big enough. A great service experience even with a very busy park and reception. Yes the bathrooms could be cleaner and there's a lot going on but that's really to be expected with the volume of people moving through each day. It's in a good location and the grounds are lovely, it's also pretty quiet overnight considering how central it is. We'll be back.
