Tasman Holiday Parks - Coromandel

My little family came to celebrate our daughter’s 2nd birthday in Coromandel. We wanted accommodation that was toddler-friendly, easy access to main town attractions but mainly a space of relaxation and comfort. Tasman Holiday Parks - Coromandel truly hit the brief for us! We stayed in a Standard Family Cabin (Room 13) with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. This was a first for us and woah! We loved it. The room was tidy and well kept, the shared facilities were also well cleaned and we enjoyed meeting other families and people this way. The playground, giant blob and basketball areas were a hit for our little toddler but just walking through the site was fun. We also got some time in the pool which our girl loved. We were close to areas we wanted to visit, the staff were super helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived (even left gifts for our girl in the room on arrival which was just so kind) and made us feel at home. I didn’t think I’d do well with shared spaces but everyone within our proximity of staying were lovely, respectful and kind. True kiwi living experience which worked hand in hand with the Tasman Holiday Parks - Coromandel homely and welcoming atmosphere. You guys truly have a gem up your sleeves! Thank you guys so much for an incredible stay. This will not be the last time we book in & can’t wait to come back again soon. (p.s sorry for any stray balloons we left behind).

Friendly, accommodating and informative staff from the moment you walk into Reception. Highly recommend the Gold Rush unit. Set up perfectly for two sets of couples or grandparents holidaying with a young family. 2 seperate bedrooms with ensuites, spotless spacious unit with indoor outdoor flow and a view of the very inviting pool. Loads of things for young and old to do, both within the park and surrounding areas. Just ask the fabulous staff....they will point you in the right direction. Wish we had the time to stay an extra night.

Spot on. The separate kitchen is excellent. All your crockery are locked in your own cupboard. You can park your car right outside. Pool nice. Close the coromandel main street. Lovely walks in the kiwi project area.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment over the weekend and overall had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.||The only real downside was the pool. One of the reasons we chose this accommodation was for the heated pool, as our kids were really looking forward to a mid-winter swim. Unfortunately, we were only informed at check-in that the pool cover was being replaced, and the water was "slightly cooler than usual" (under the usual 27 degrees). Had we known this in advance, we likely would have booked a holiday park with a properly heated pool instead. We didn’t see anyone use the pool during our stay, which says a lot.||Other than that, the stay was lovely but it would’ve been helpful to have this information disclosed prior to booking.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and very comfortable. The sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home.

We had a site, which was close to the facilities. The receptionist was very helpful for day trips and super nice in general. Other holiday parks have daily cleaning of the kitchen, this was not the case or at least it was not precise enough. Not super dirty though.

We stayed 4 nights in June, in our caravan on a nice flat surface, easy parking. Is a very clean campground. Impressed with bbq facilities and cleanliness of kitchen and toilet/shower facilities. Staff very friendly which was fantastic. We didn't feel like just another nameless customer/patron. Small campground. Heated pool was more tepid temperature than warm so no swim for us unfortunately as we were looking forward to a warm soak. Overall though, will be back.

'Motel' Unit 25. Old out dated smelly bathroom. No security locks on doors or windows Paper thin walls so can hear occupants in adjoining room swearing, snoring, loud talking etc (only 1 ) as they are duplex 'motel' units. Too expensive, @ $204 a night, comparable to nearby motels when really this is only a cabin in camping ground.
