We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a tent and caravan and they were very accommodating with booking us on sites suitable for both. The sites are large. Toilet block / kitchen clean and tidy. Heaps to do for the kids - they had the best time. As parents, we also really appreciated the enforced quiet time at 10pm! Thanks Miranda Holiday Park!

Spent 2 nights in our caravan with grandson. He had the best time testing out all the things a 7 year old loves that you had to offer. Made new friends and is keen to return. Thanks for a great stay. Amazing facilities, well done. We'll be back in 2026

The facilities, staff and ground were exceptional. Plenty to do for the kids from mini golf to frisbee golf. They had sites specifically for pets, caravans, cabin and villas. The cabins are very very small though but if you go off peak the price is worth it. HOWEVER…. the major downfall in winter is the (gorgeous) pool is thermally heated and sits around (soak away your joint pain) bath temperature. If they put in a regular heated pool it would make them a 4star, year round facility. On the whole though, I would highly recommend to anyone but would strongly suggest the 3 bedroom premium villas for groups of more than 4.

We as a group have stayed here for a 3 day weekend for the past 4 years plus and we have always been 100 % happy with our stay. The quality of the Cabins has been 5 star. This time however so very disappointed. We were a group of 11 of us with 2 in their campervan. We were in cabin 54 with our friends in the ones by us. The TV did not work not even one channel, our group talked to reception about it. Our Cabins's shower pressure when trying to turn hot water on for shower was so bad, Hardly any water coming out and water only slightly warm, I came and spoke to reception and they told me they would send someone to check. No one came. The toilet seat kept sliding off on one side. There were definitely not as much kitchen gear as in previous years. We were so disappointed as we have been returning for a number of years. The quality in these cabins very very poor this year. We have always given positive feedback every other year and loved our stay. There were problems in the other cabins as well sadly

We were in our caravan so no info on rooms and cabinsthe hot pool was open and we were in it often during our time here. The complex is currently being renovat3d and should e complete by mid December in time for Christmas. Look beyond that and you'll have a relaxing stay. We're right on the Hauraki rail trail , so great for cyclists. Great coffee at the Pink coffee shop 13 kms South.

Cant comment on rooms as we were camping. Good location, lots to do onsite and once construction is completed this will open up even more options. Great kitchen space with lots of cook areas inside and outside. Didnt use the pizza ovens, but will bear that in mind for a future visit. Food truck at the gate provided 1st night dinner and it certainly didnt disappoint. All in all, a great site and will be on the list for returning.

My wife and I were camping in a caravan. Excellent facilities. Very clean bathrooms and toilets. Excellent kitchen. This will be an excellent place to stay once construction is completed. But even with construction, we enjoyed every minute. Beautiful hot pool.

This was a much anticipated second visit with my grandchildren. Previously we had been guests in a motorhome, with the previous owners, this time we chose a lodge after seeing photos on the website. The lodge didn't meet our expectations as were set by the photo. The room, I likened to a correction facility size, was clean but old, and ours was situated next to, and adjoined the community TV room. The noise from which we didn't appreciate in the evening, as some guest have less consideration than others. The kids eagerly awaited trip focused on the pedal karts which weren't available for use, having been 'trashed' by others on Labour weekend. During our brief stay the pool was closed for nearly 24hrs due to faecal matter needing to be cleaned up. After our first night we decided to forgo the second night and leave early. I wouldn't have created a review if the cost reflected what I was purchasing which was two star accommodation at a place that has grand ideas but hasn't achieved then yet, in my opinion. $189 per night for a room with two bunk beds and a fridge, is I feel overpriced.

Yelp
A weekend getaway to Miranda is one of my favourite things to do, particularly if you can convince the grandparents to come along too! We've stayed in the motel apartments here which are new and fairly luxe with spa baths, and the whole place is designed for de-stressing - even when you have little ones in tow. There's plenty for the kids to do with a trampoline, playground, tennis courts, bikes for hire and more; plus of course the mineral hot pool which (blessedly) has a shade cloth over it so you don't expire. Like all hot spring towns, Miranda is better in cooler weather and I like that you can just stay here, walk next door to the main hot spring public pool, BBQ your dinner and not really do much else - just chillax and rejuvenate. The pricing here at the Holiday Park is really reasonable and I love that they cater to larger families as well with the chalets sleeping up to seven people.
