Has everything you could ever need. Me and my family had an awesome time. Rooms very tidy and clean. A lot of good facility's . Swimming pool and spa are a hit with the kids. Also a bouncing pillow and playground. Will definitely be back for sure.

There's nothing wrong with this park. I just didn't like it. Positives first. The staff are fantastic, happy, helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are in pretty good condition. The over all appearance of the park is modern and fun. There seems to be plenty to do for the kids. The mini slide in the pool is a nice touch. What I didn't like about the park Is the space. Its like when they built the park they tried to cram as much as they could in the tiny space. Its seems almost greedy. I mean the parking was ridiculous. We had to get people to move there cars so we could move ours. We camp alot and have never been to a more cramped and compact site. For that reason we won't come back.

We have stayed in many places around New Zealand and have never been disappointed but staying at Tasman Holiday Parks, Waihi Beach was absolutely amazing. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The whole place was one of the best. We would recommend it every chance we got. Many thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

There is the main road running across the campsite. So we had to cross the road every time we wanted to access the facilities and amenities. Nice view and beach access with river stream in the site. Good for morning walks. Facilities were clean and plentiful.Camper sites were close to one another and are accessed only by a narrow road. It could pose a problem when more than 1 vehicle is moving in and out. To make situation worse, the waste dump point is along this road and vehicles need to wait for it to be vacant before accessing the other side.

A Magical Escape at Tasman Holiday Camp! We recently spent three amazing nights at the Tasman Holiday Camp and let me tell you, it was pure magic! (Note to self: next time, book the fourth night free—what a steal!) This campground has two sides: the main side with a fantastic pool and cozy TV rooms where you can catch cool family movies (just ask at the reception). Saturday popcorn sessions for the kids? An absolute blast and a perfect break for parents! 🍿 The pool was incredibly well-maintained, thanks to Marty, who deserves a standing ovation for his hard work and positivity. Marty's bright smile and can-do attitude were contagious, making everyone feel like they were in a different world! 🌍 Just a short 1 hour and 20-minute drive from Auckland, the campground offers power on-site, a super clean kitchen with fridge and freezer, a gaming room, and hot showers (and I mean *hot* and full-on, no drip-drip business). 🚿 A short stroll over the road takes you to another part of the campground with three spots offering stunning Seaviews. Even if you don't snag one of those, you can still hear the soothing waves. 🌊 The late arrival support and extended checkout were hassle-free—no angry words or faces here! The staff, despite the hard work, were genuinely happy and passionate about making holidaymakers happy. Special shoutout to Marty for his dedication—you're a gem! 💎 We also caught an unforgettable sunrise (we nearly made it in time, but it was totally worth it!). The walk to the waterfalls was an adventure—make sure to put the coordinates in beforehand as there's no reception. Plan for at least 4 hours as the path has seen better days due to weather. When you think you've missed it, just keep walking! The stone slide halfway through was small but so much fun! 🏞️ The beach was a slice of paradise with crystal-clear water and fish jumping through the waves with us. Super clean and surrounded by bars and restaurants, you won't miss out on anything. The Secret Garden is a must-try—if you're not into Mexican food, just enjoy the happy hour from 5-6pm! 🌮🍹 Are we coming back? You bet we are! Tasman Holiday Camp is perfect for young ones, babies, teenagers, and anyone in need of a break. Can't wait for our next adventure here! PS Feeding the eel pets was amazing ! Off season animals allowed after request ! Camp site is spaces and sauna cost 9$ for 40 min ! Spa pool is hot , slide for fun and pool warm !

Campground is in a great location, short walk to the beach and approx 5-10 mins to the village/town. On our stay (during a very busy period) we found the cleaning in the shared facilities wasn't up to what we have been used to at other campgrounds. It was still being done on a regular schedule but not what we feel was needed during a busy time. Sites are medium sized and we just fit our car/trailer and medium size tent on them. There are lots of cabins both permanent and can be hired, more than campsites so it doesn't have that classis kiwi campground feeling. All in all a good campground.

Fabulous park with the most helpful and kind staff. We camped on the beach side, which was just beautiful. There was, however, only one Amenities block with group showers and toilets in the one room, which is all Unisex. We did not like that aspect at all.
