We had an awesome morning at the Tassie Zoo. We went all out and booked a Meerkat experience as well. The Zoo has a great variety of animals, they were very close and easy to see, easy to follow the map and our son loved the 2 young dingoes. You can hand feed the kangaroos & wallabies in one section and then the farm animals further along. The only animal not on show during our visit were the capybaras. We also enjoyed the gift shop and picked up a few Knick knacks for ur family and friends.

This is the perfect family owned zoo. The staff are lovely, it isn’t overpriced, there is so much to look at and there is endless animal experiences. My family and I went during the week and did 17 experiences total between the four of us. We had booked the experiences the night before and our experiences ended up going from 11am-3pm initially however, the lovely woman at the front desk offered us to change this so it was more convenient for us. We got to do ALL our experiences together as a family through the morning with another lovely young lady. We got to pat, feed and cuddle with our animals and spend quality time with them. There wasn’t one inch of this zoo where there wasn’t animals, you can clearly see them through their enclosures as well. There is a variety of animals to hand feed, you can get up close to sheep, llamas, emus, wallaby’s, a donkey and kangaroos. Highly recommended this as a must visit. 💯😁

The zoo has a lot of animals, some native and a lot of exotic animals, especially monkeys. The enclosures are not fancy but they do the job and you can see most of the animals quite well. The zoo did not accept our student cards as there was no expiration date on it even though we were able to show our official enrollment letters with dates of enrollment, which was a bit disappointing.

What a magnificent gem to visit . Beautifully nestled in a quiet spot . The animals have decent and natural enclosures, decent size too . I was treated to have the close encounter with the red panda. Absolutely magical(still smiling ) .. The Zoo team, are wonderful, polite and legitimately caring for the animals. This place feels more like a sanctuary than a zoo.. Serene, green and beautiful. I love the greenery and a wonderful variety of trees and plants too. Mandy was absolutely gorgeous, caring, passionate and warm.. Cannot wait to go back..

Tasmania Zoo is my favorite zoo in Tasmania!!! Definitely won’t miss the devils and wombats encounter here!! Especially the ticket price is lovely ☺️ The animals were kept very well here ( all look healthy and well ). The staffs were kind and friendly. There’s plenty of species of animals to see. A good place to enjoy an half/all day with friends and family here✨

The Tasmania Zoo is absolutely beautiful and the perfect location to walk around on a beautiful winters day. All of the animals seemed so happy and well cared for, I really just wanted to cuddle the red panda, it was so cute and fluffy! Would definitely recommend the zoo to any and all age groups.

Tasmania Zoo is a wonderful place to explore and connect with wildlife. I saw many different species of animals and birds, some of which I saw for the very first time. The zoo is well-maintained and provides a natural habitat feel for the animals. It’s a great spot for families and animal lovers to spend time learning about various species. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable experience.

This was our first time at Tasmania Zoo. We were greeted by Mandy, she gave us a map of the park and showed us where to go to get to hold the wombat. It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend people to pay the little extra to hold the animals. Staff in the zoo were so lovely, the zoo is very open so the animals there have more freedom and guests coming have more freedom to interact and get close with the animals. You can walk in and pet the wallabies and kangaroos, they are all so friendly and this was such an amazing experience as we are both from Ireland and never experience anything like this. We only had an hour and a half in the zoo as we arrived late but this still gave us plenty of time to look around. This is definitely a fun family activity or even great for adults who love nature.
